We have been happy customers from Harvey Norman for years. In different departments. Recently we have a nice and good experience with the bedding and matresses department HN Rothwell. The staff look after me/us very well. My wife and I, would like special to thanks Ian Webb, the Propietor of the matresses and bedding department, to guide and look after us so very well. We would recomend them to every one.

Damien in the bedding department was so nice, helpful and is a real asset to the Harvey Norman brand.

Bought a 75 inch TV and was told it can fit in my xtrail (the staff is not a new employee). When we went to pick up, the wearhouse staff said there's no way it will fit in your car and " murmured "why do they keeping tell customers that" it means we are not the first ones. We went back to the store and another staff also said the same thing and gave us more information regarding delivery which was very helpful and honest. That's cheating for the staff who serviced us, not responsible for what he said and is all about getting money from customers. We are happy to pay for the delivery fee if he can be honest with us, now, we have to take a day off work to wait for a delivery when we were planning to pick up and in-store that day. This has ruined our day.

Harvey Norman, Rothwell has the best staff in all departments. It is always my first port of call as good service and good product knowledge mean more than a cheap bargain elsewhere. Thanks, HN, for excellent service again. Special thanks to Nell in bedroom furniture.

They go above and beyond at this place. I was in the market for a new oven & gas top with limited knowledge on the matter. In comes Lydia - boom! Off to a flying start. Went from A to Z with me. Even unboxed and staged an entire oven just to show us some unique features of the one we were looking for! Unreal! Finally, there was a complication at the warehouse and Lydia did a great job managing an unfortunate situation. Furthermore, whenever I called the store, Lydia’s team members were attentive, helpful and provided some solid banter. My idea of ‘Australian Customer Service’. Can’t stand Jerry - can certainly stand by his workers.

Happy with all our purchases there over the years: - furnitures, beds, white goods, tvs, laptops,   phones etc. Great customer service! Staff are helpful and knowledgeable.   Great deals!

Great experience dealing with Tara. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend her to anyone wishing to buy furniture. We came all the way from Coolum to source the lounge suite we needed.

Ordered item online. When it was ready I received an email where I could click on 'I'm on my way' and the item was delivered to my car when I arrived. Good system.

Great service staff are amazing with product info very helpful and a great store not over crowded with products on display easy accessible

Had to pick microwave up for my client, went around to warehouse to pick it up, after 25 minutes an me getting out of car to find out what is going on, got told that the one in the box was sold so had to take the display one as my client needs the microwave for cooking. Not a good experience at all.

Delivery issues
Purchased a dining room set, they got my delivery address wrong after waiting all day for the delivery and then delivering it on Monday
When ever you go to these retail stores you have to lower your expectations as they will always disappoint you

Poor quality products, poorer quality service.

Purchased tv cabinet

Tv cabinet faulty - broke marking brand new floor, damaging a monitor in the process. Extremely dangerous for children and pets.

Put in complaint.

Offered replacement cabinet or next to no monetary compensation.

Opted for cabinet due to safety.

Got carpenter to help stabilise, cause silly us wanting to not endanger our home contents animals or children.

One month on, still no replacement.

Requested compensation due to ridiculous time frame.

Compensation and replacement now void cause we took safety precautions.

Should have known better than to trust the Harvey Norman brand notorious for this level of the lower standards possible in service.

My dad purchased a vacuum from this store late last year. Around 6 months later the vacuum wouldn't work. I took my dad into the store who sent it off for repair. Fast forward 2 months and still no vacuum I've had to intervene to try and help my dad who is elderly. He has been patient and has waited long enough and in my opinion should have been offered a replacement vacuum seeings the one he purchased was just shy of 6 months old.
Angie who has been supposedly trying to help my dad with this issue, was very rude and unprofessional over the phone when I rang at my wits end today. I have advised my dad to never purchase anything from this store again. Disgraceful service by an abrupt person clearly too impatient and busy to genuinely care.

2nd product purchased very good and price beating and customer service was excellent and knowledgable

Had to go there to pickup something only they had in stock. Called ahead of time and asked them to hold it. They kept their word and had it in the storeroom ready for me to pickup.

At least they had what we wanted in store unlike many other local stores.management needs to look at store stock and sell items in store. I can't stand having to order anything.but friendly staff at rothwell store and very happy with the prices. We spent 10s thousands.
