Wasn't the best experience.
Went in looking for ink cartridges and a laptop.
I wasn't even looked at and not approached. Pity really. I ended up getting the ink cartridges from Big W and the laptop from Office works.
It felt like they didn't judge me by my rugby shorts T shirt and trainers. I won't go back to HN Capalaba.

The sales staff in the electronics department were too busy on their phones or too engrossed in small talk with their colleagues to see what sort of watch and TV we wanted to buy, sorry but we're off to JB hifi where these guys are very helpful

Worst customer service I've ever received. Not only was I lied to. I had to go through office of fair trade to get any suitable outcome from them. When I went in to obtain my gift card and refund I was greeted with a non communicating manager who essentially just grunted at me. Once I spend the voucher (which was my money) I'll never deal with harvey Norman's again.

I would like to say a big thank you to Mel for going above and beyond to help me out with an online order I had with the Loganholme store. Loganholme were no help at all and when I called the Capalaba store, Mel was more than happy to help me out. She even left post it notes everywhere for the other staff to know about it on her days off. So thank you so much Mel you're certainly a gem and I appreciate you. We finally got the Harry Ptter Deluxe game sent to Loganholme.

I ordered a product online and was immediately phoned by the Capalaba store to say they had one as floor stock would I take it. I asked that all parts were with it and was told yes they were.
I picked it up and took it home only to find the charging dock missing, making the machine unusable.
Since then we’ve made 7 phone calls regarding this. Occasionally the calls were returned but more often they were not. Some staff members gave their names and promised to follow it up and didn’t.
After 3 weeks a new charging doc arrived. We requested a bottle of floor cleaning product to compensate the very poor service we received. After waiting sometime in store we spoke to the manager who told us not to order online but to come instore! Clearly the issue was with the Capalaba store and not online. Our compensation was a bottle of pet stain remover - he didn’t even ask if we had pets.
After many years of buying from Harvey Norman Cleveland and being very happy we certainly won’t be purchasing at the Capalaba store again.
Very disappointed.

Great place to shop, and very helpful staff. A good price for the item I purchased from the advertised price. If I had won lotto or something I would probably need a semi-trailer to carry all my goods out lol.

Click & Collect - we picked this option so that we could avoid taking our two year old into the store. We used the email function to notify the store we were on our way with GPS tracking of our location, we then used the email to notify the store we had arrived and the car we were in, and waited at the loading dock as per the instructions for 15 minutes. We pressed the doorbell after the 15 minutes with no response to that either, so we called the store and the person who answered took our details including the item we were waiting on and we waited another 10 minutes before someone came out and asked what we were waiting on …. Then we waited another 5 minutes to receive our item.
All up the “convenient option” took 30 minutes.

The staff were polite but the experience was much more of an inconvenience than anything else.

Do not use the click & collect if you want actual convenience or a timely manner.

Excellent Service at the Capalaba Harvey Norman computer department. I have always been well looked after by the team of retail sales and experts. When I have had issues with a piece of equipment it is dealt with in a timely and professional manner. Thanks to Jurgen and the team.

I needed to purchase a couch with lumbar support, electronic foot rests and charging ports. Dan from the furniture department is the man you HAVE to talk too. He never gives you bs and will listen to every little want. He busts his butt to find exactly what you need and has an AWESOME sense of humour. Highly highly recommended.

Great store, a little pricey, but you pay for quality. Linda was a fantastic salesperson and was super friendly and helpful

I bought a charger online (belkin) but it arrived the box was open and not working so I have to drive all the way to return the charger and also I want white one but they said they don’t have stock.

I had amazing customer service. The beds frames i bought are strong. And look great. The mattresses are so comfy. I also boight a couple of PCs and a fridge. The PCs for the power, are cheaper than the other shops. All in all i ended up just going there instead of shopping around for everything i neeeded

Excellent service from very knowledgeable salesman. Extremely patient and remembered that I had previously visited the store. Ended up going back on numerous occasions and same great service every time. No pressure to buy. Excellent choice of furniture to suit all budgets. Thoroughly recommended.

They may well have very competitive prices - I don't really know for sure, as our shopping experience was curtailed early after overhearing a string of foul mouthed invective from one of the stores employees. Unfortunately, no amount of apologies that were offered could make my wife 'unhear' this filth. A very disappointing experience.

I shopped here wanting a specific colour of furniture to match existing furniture which I had purchased some years earlier. I work long hours and work away, so getting into the store is difficult. I dealt with Linda and she made the shopping/purchasing decision very easy (even in my circumstances). The process from selection through to delivery was fuss free. She was professional, acted with integrity and was willing to help at every step of the process. Would definitely recommend Harvey Norman at Capalaba to anyone looking to buy, solely based on my experience with Linda. Thank you again!
