Hanaromart Calamvale

Bought a radish today. Completely mouldy inside. Had to throw the whole thing away. Both text and Facebook messages sent. No response.

Lots of selection of Korean groceries. Nice.

This Korean guy that works there was holding rice purposely ran into me from behind.

Store was pretty empty so there was a lot of space. Not sure why he had to tailgate and push me from behind while holding bags of rice that could potentially fall ontop of me.

Mind you I’m short?

I can always find some good meat on sale, yummy snacks, tasty beverages and kitchen utensils.

Great Korean (and Asian) grocery store. The staff are super helpful and friendly. They also speak English.

Great selection of prducts you wont normally find on other stores. Sad to see the lunchbox meals go

Good Asian Grocery. Many items are from Korea. A wide variety of fresh, frozen, dried preserved or canned goods from Asia.

There aren't too many places around that sell pineapple-flavoured cream biscuits, but this is one of them. It's just a slight pity though that there are only 12 of them per pack and they're bite-sized, yet they're very nice. Must be some of the nicest cream biscuits I've had.

I went there to purchase a bottle of cooking wine that has a price of $3.7 and the lady at the cashier told me nope the price of it should be $6+. I went back to check the tag on display and took a photo of it take it to the cashier to show her that it was priced $3.7 not $6+. She said the price was wrong and if I wanted it I will have to pay $6+ for it. If not dont buy it. With no apology from her I said to her you should honor the price and that's false advertisement and you need to apologise in the first instance instead of telling me not to buy it.

I ended buying the same product next door from Fresco for $3.49.

This shop is deliberately selling children fruit jelly which has expired 3 months at full price.

No apologies given!

If you're like me and love Love Love Real Ginger & Honey Tea, get a jar or two from here at $9.90 each on special. Other places they're $12 - $13. Great-az variety of Korean foods.

Nice with lots of K products and other asian groceries. Many itmes are regulary on sale.

My korean shopping done here weekly.
They have good verity of food / product from Korea, I mainly buy groceries. Nice layout, easy for parking. My favorite Asian grocery store for sure.

Even though Underwood Hanaro is so much closer to me, I'd rather go all the way here because their staff is helpful, respectful & friendly, unlike Underwood

Wide range of products including Gatsby hair styling clay. They also sell prepackaged takeaway boxes freshly cooked everyday.

This store is big, and has all your asain food needs. It also has a section of freshly cooked take away hot food

Lack of hospitality! Products are nice and same quality with other hanaro mart. But one of woman at cashier is rude, lack of hospitality, unkindly at all. As seeing other reviews, that would be same woman worker. She never apologized for making trouble, just say a lot of excuse with yelling at me.
Was disappointed at her behavior as staff. Made me feel bad.

Lots of spices and flavors I never can find at woolies or Coles, interesting they have a yummy hot box at the edge of the store, reasonable prices on bulk items
