Why is it not cheap here at Hanaro Mart and I can't earn points with my phone number?

Rice cake got mouldy the same day, best before date is 30 sep, that’s still 7 months left.

Mushroom and tofu were not fresh even though it’s not overdue, i just throw them away after one bite, tasted horrible.i’ve been here many times but getting disappointed with the items. I can compare here with the other Korean supermarkets. I’d prefer to go to the other shops even if it’s far away.

The store doesnt manage their queue at all, they serve whoever they want to serve first. When asked to speak to Manager, he actually mocked me. Not coming back here. Very poor customer service. Not the first time encountered poor service. Best to let people know what to expect from this place. Been to other better managed Hanaro Marts, will avoid this one. There are way better Hanaro Marts in Hyperdome Logan and Calamvale.

Been there every weekend, one time the queue very long and a guy (bald, skinny, wearing glasses) opening other cashier, but he rejects to serve me n choose a person behind me! So rude n he never give explanation, i just go back to other cashier, a lady that is much more friendly and nicer.
And i read in the comment below also few people commented about this. Oh well, hope they realise in this kind of industry, a good customer service is a must.

This is a revision. My previous rating was 5 stars but the service has become worse the last few visits. Not only the cashier allowed people to jump queue, the MANAGER / Owner (?) mocked my wife when she brought it to his attention.

They never answer the phone. Why you guys put the number on the website and newspaper then? Never ever get answer.

The grandmother in front of me is trying to buy bread, so she says that it can't be done because of the supplier's problem. It was my second visit, but the cashier lady was very unfriendly. ;;

Can’t use a photo of your loyalty card “because it doesn’t prove its yours” they don’t ask for proof that it’s your card anyway. So I always give my mate my card and he uses it anyway. Talk about slavery with extra steps.

Great store for asian grocery. Their $10 bulgogi meat is such a steal and lasts me for days! They also have cardboard boxes for customers by the cashier.

It is always clean, well stocked, friendly staff and easy for Australians who don't speak Korean or an Asian language. I have a lot of experience of living in Asia and eating Asian food and I always find what I need here!

Normaly polite people. Great place to shop. Just once I had a bad experience with a cashier. I believe he did not understand/talk English well.

Great place to buy Korean groceries. Big variety. Meat, vegetables and household items also available.

Its big but feel as though theres not much you can really buy. No alcohols here too. Their membership cards are bit annoying as you cant use the ones from other store.

It was so nice to be able to get everything I needed. The location is convenient as it is close to other supermarkets. There were a lot of discounts and a lot of variety, so I was able to enjoy Korean food when I was in Brisbane! And since it was a Korean mart, I loved being able to take boxes with me.

Love to get my Korean BBQ supply here. They have everything at a reasonable price. They have since removed their butcher section which is a shame but still sell a good selection of meat.

We love trying new things and so we come here to try different drinks, snacks, and instant noodles!

Shop people who work here are pretty friendly. They used to sell more varieties of Japanese frozen food but it is smaller now than before. Good shop to get Korean items.

Great shop if you enjoy Korean food
The downside is there is not much english labelling, descriptions etc probably because most everything is imported i guess.
But very nice staff. Would be good to know which ones spoke english lol
Being non korean it would be good to be able to ask someone about particular things and their food. Still wont stop me going back though
