10When you first arrive it looks like chaos but once you enter you realise they have a huge range and if you ask the staff for something they know exactly where it is. Prices are good and staff are friendly and helpful. Take a visit here before heading to your local Bunnings are you would be surprised at what you can find.
This is the best place to get building materials been going for years BUT the old lady in the office can be rude she should think about retirement
First impressions, what a dump
Then you meet the people, the "stuff" and hear the prices and you go.you little beauty. Fantastic to deal with, know where everything is in the planned chaos and do not charge like a wounded bull. Can you ask for more?
You can get more. Search around and you find gems in every corner.

I love this place. The people are so friendly. They have everything you'll need to do your reno at great prices. They're delivery is cheap too.
There is heaps & heaps of all kinds building materials here to buy. New and second hand. Great place to look for that special iteam you need in your projects.
Liz and Hank are great Aussies! Very helpful and laid back. The world would be a better place with more great people like these two, dedset legends. Thanks for being so cool!
Great place for building materials.also used and reclaimed timber and doors. It's the only place to go if you want a particular look

Curious little junk/scrap merchant, plenty to sift and soft through if that is your thing. Prices were ok.
I LOVE this place! Its the last remaining timber yard like was around when I used to go with dad to buy timber as a kid. If your looking for stacked shelves. This isn't the place. If your looking for fantastic deals, GREAT people and a place you can likely find that building supply that's no longer made or stocked ANYWHERE else, there's a good chance you might just turn it up somewhere at Schimmel's!
Never change the place, its PERFECT exactly how it is! This is my go to place when I need building supplies!
