Gympie - Sunshine Mitre 10

This is actually a good store but a little expensive, many of it's great reviews are from their cafe which no longer exists. My 3 stars are for ability to deal with a power outage, they clearly had no system in place and no battery backup for their computerised registers. The cue just got lonnnnggger as 3 staff sent 2 other staff through the store to see the cost of all my items

I go to this hardware store for almost all my house maintenance needs and other needs. It's a great friendly place. Easy to find what you need and always someone available to help you. Plenty of parking and great prices. In the past I bought expensive items and gear from here and later changed my mind as I decided to save up some money and buy the upgraded new model asap. I was given a refund with no fuss no drama. I just wanted to say thank you.

Stock shortages, empty spots scattered throughout their displays, more expensive and smaller selection than their competitors in the big green shed just up the road.

Very friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff. Good range of stock. Havent been this impressed with a hardware store in a long time, I wont go anywhere else now!

Very poor service 10 staff all chatting not one offerd assistance, next shop will have hedge trimmer.

Stopped off to get a few items for our caravan and requested some assistance from Alison who helped us with everything on our list and made sure we were happy with all that we purchased.

Absolutely disgraceful service. Spent 20min walking around for assistance, counter service no better. Went to bunnings.

I knew what i wanted and took pot luck that they had 2 in store. Unfortunately, no.but i knew the product number and they got 2 in for me.and phoned me when they arrived. Top service in a friendly and helpful manner.

Good variety of products, however I think that this is one of the most expensive Mitre 10 I have ever been to. Staff have nice smiles

It's really hard to find things - I guess there is a system but I haven't broken the code yet. And I miss the cafe that used to be there

We attended store looking for new chain saw and whipper snipper we were served by Harry. Harry could not of been more helpful if he tried he was absolutely wonderful. Harry continued to help us in many areas, giving us the best for money etc. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for amazing friendly service this is your man. I will definitely be using Mitre 10 sunshine for this reason. No more Bunnings for us!

Very disappointed.
Today, A crew of 6 people made out of juniors and a few adults. Shop wasn’t busy at all due to the storm.
NONE of them bothered helping me and and some young one avoided eye contact instead of coming toward me requesting help… but rather stay in group and just talking while getting paid…. Staff were so disinterested and rather talk about home stuff.
Lucky I’m not your manager but you need to take action.
Same complaint has been made about 4 years ago so I know what I’m on about.

Staff are friendly and helpful they have everything that you need. Easy to park. Less people to deal with then that other hardware store

Great shopping experience here. Friendly staff, very helpful. Not crowded, easy carpark. And they have Kings camping products.

Gympie couldn't.

Always a great place to get building and plumbing gear.
The staff in the drive through in particular are friendly and offer great advice, far better than their competitors.
The original and still the best.

Just want to thank Mitre 10 Gympie for their great informative service. -My drill had stopped for no apparent reason. Had bought it elsewhere, took it back to see what the problem was, but that business has a rule that no electrical items can be plugged in to test them. So I went to Mitre 10 and admitted I hadn't bought it from them. Mitch had diagnosed and fixed it within a minute or two after plugging it in and testing it.
Whenever I go to Mitre 10 Gympie they are always very helpful. Next time I need a drill I will purchase it from them!
