I am so pleased with Gullivers Coomera. My two year old boy has become so confident since beginning here at gullivers. We have tried three other swim schools, but this is the best one, the routine is swimming focused and that’s what I wanted for a swim school, rather than singing for most of the class. The teachers are absolutely amazing, miss Donna has been so good with my boy and he is thriving with her teaching. Miss Kelly is also a great teacher. Admin are always friendly and smiling when we attend. I am so pleased we found this swim school and will be long term members and continue to watch my boy flourish and grow in confidence in the pool. Thank you very much!

Absolutely appalling place. My daughter had her swimming lesson this afternoon. She arrived early. A very rude Staff member approached us right on swim start time to state that we need to rectify account before she jumps into pool. Explained that I have direct debit and that there is no issues, they argued that they tried to send me an email that I needed to pay? Received no emails. Explained direct debit is all set up and I’ve never had issues, confirmed same with bank. Meanwhile my daughter is freezing and not allowed into the pool. They stated that I would be paying for this lesson today even know that she did not participate because they were to concerned about collecting there funds which was a default at there end. My observations since my daughter started recently is that this place is not for the child’s best interest. Overcrowding and overrun. Staff are very rude. This place is all based on money. My daughter spent half the time at the end of the pool with no supervision, teacher had back turned on her. I had to go sit by the pool to make sure I could keep visuals on her 24/7 since the teacher was very distracted. Will not be sending my daughter back. I will be continuing further with this complaint. Reading other reviews just reiterates why I’ve made a wise decision. I rectified my account and they said they wouldn’t allow my daughter back in the lesson as it’s at full capacity? She is booked in permanently for that day. Very corrupt place. Don’t send your kids there.

So grateful to be with Gullivers Coomera!
We hit a very rocky patch, where Linc (aged 2) did not want a bar of swimming lessons, after doing really well for a while. The staff at Gullivers were nothing short of amazing. They offered valued advice and support and gave options to help us push through. Now Linc loves his swimming lessons. He’s completing each lesson and doesn’t want them to end. He’s even now completing activities that he has flat out refused to do from day 1, even on the very best of days.
Thank you to Miss Donna, and all the lovely staff at Gullivers Coomera. I’m so glad you encouraged us not to give up.

More kids than they can handle.they couldn’t find my child at school for ASC, didn’t bother calling me for 25 minutes while she was nowhere to be found and then refused to go and look for her, and didn’t alert the school that they couldn’t find her.then they wanted to argue with me on the phone about nothing instead of figuring out where my kid was.i had to get other children and the school office staff to search for her.then, they didn’t answer the phone at all when i tried to call to tell them that she had been found.now they are purposely delaying the return of my holding deposit because they don’t like the attitude i gave them, and i have to take them to small claims court over it.i have also been told by my child and other parents that i know that they don’t help the smaller children get their car seat belts on in the bus, and rely on the other children to do it for each other.they briefly left my friends 5yo old daughter on the bus by accident because she couldn’t get her belt off by herself.once i went to collect my child in the afternoon and one of the staff yelled to my daughter to “say bye to her boyfriend” (referring to another child). My child has been pushed off a chair twice and my friends child has been kicked several times, and they do nothing about bullying.no incident reports.another parent i know has had a few conversations with them about super inappropriate things her daughter has heard, and she was told by gullivers “well kids are going to talk about that stuff”.

We literally couldn't be happier with Gulliver's. My son was going backwards at the previous swimschool, that was until a friend told us about Gulliver's. We now drive 50 minutes to come to swimming lessons & wouldn't change a thing.
They are so incredibly friendly & accommodating. It is like one big family.if we could we would do 2 lessons a week.
As an added bonus they also have the nicest coffee.
So grateful to have found this swim school.

A trusted swim school for our family. As a young girl I learnt to swim with Gullivers and now I have the joy of watching my own children learn to swim at Gullivers.

I arrived to Gullivers after 9 weeks of lessons at a competitor where I wasn’t able to get my 2 year old into the water. Speaking to Lara, she was professional and compassionate, understanding the frustrations and concern with a child with fear of the water. Upon her recommendation, we had a private session with Coach Kelly who had my daughter jumping into the water and swimming and laughing happily by the end of the session.
Our eldest daughter attended the intensive swimming week with Coach Zac and after a week, went from minimal understanding of stroke technique to using her big arms and breathing and what looked like a perfect backstroke the length of the pool.

We could not be more grateful to Gullivers for their support and professionalism in helping our girls extend their swimming confidence and ability.

My child went hungry for the whole day they lost his lunch and didn’t notice he had none, he was red in the face he was offered one small squirt of suncream for his whole body only once during the day.

Very poor standard of care.

Rude disinterested staff.

I am very disappointed with the level of care from this centre. My son usually attends school vacations care however that was full so I thought I would try Gulliver’s. He went for a total of 5 sessions. At first I was really happy with it and was recommending the place to friends. I made sure I told the staff that my son is only 5 and is quite shy. There was a trip to SeaWorld and he was was excited but he was also nervous. I again expressed that he was nervous to go however, they reassured me everything was going to be okay and he will have they best day. I left him on a positive note. My partner went to collect him at around 4: 45 and this point my son told him he didn’t have any food in his bag all day. His water bottle had broken in his bag and got everything wet in the morning. An educator had took out his lunch box and put it somewhere to dry. Upon leaving for SeaWorld this was never put back in. He was given a small bottle of water to last him all day. Upon asking them why his food was never given back to him to take nobody could give me a clear answer. The lunchbox was not located until around 6: 15. I went in to ask for answers and I kept getting fobbed off. They told me they had 106 children to take care off, I asked if they was adequately staff to which they said yes, so I don’t see how that was a problem? I also asked how they did not notice all the children was eating except one, they told me they assume a child would mention to someone if they didn’t have food, I said that all children are not the same so you can’t assume stuff. I also asked why the educator didn’t give him his food back after knowingly taking out, to which they couldn’t answer. I’m still awaiting a follow up call and email after a week, which I’m not holding my breath, as it seems children are just a number and that there doesn’t seem to be any care there. If you have a shy child this isn’t the place for you as apparently all children are the same. If they had called me at the start of the day I would have been more than happy to have purchase additional food and drink for him.

The worse centre you could ever go to! Rude staff even ruder managers! Arrogant owner! Disgusting attitude! I have nothing but bad experience to share here! Don’t waste your money on this centre

Gullivers has become our second family when we moved to the area recently. My son started at 4 he was petrified of even putting his head under the water he started at the start of level 1. The past 8 months he has progressed to l4 learning back stroke freestyle he is a confident swimmer and it’s all thanks to the supportive swim teachers who have formed such a beautiful bond with both my children. Every swim teacher is absolutely amazing the knowledge they have shows in all the children who swim there. A special notice to Mona and Kelly they have been a massive mentor for both my children. My 20 month old Can swim under water for 10 seconds opening her eyes and being able to swim to the wall of the pool without any help. Love the community gullivers created for my children.

Amazing set up for all levels! The best place for your child to improve and enjoy. Where lessons based on skill rather than age.

Been with this beautiful swim school about 8 months, Couldn’t complain anything, really.

Large, bright and well organized different pools. Amazing teacher Ms Lydia for her patient and passionate teaching attitude to every student (not only for my daughter, we joined Lydia‘s group class first and then semi-private, we saw how great she is on every moment). Helpful and friendly receptionists. High recommend parents to bring their kids here. Before we came here we had my daughter’s swim classes twice a week about one year time at Rackley as its been referred by my daughters kindy educators, now We never regretand feel super lucky to change my daughter’s swim centre from Rackley to Gullivers. Finally we understand why Gullivers can run 30+ years successfully.

Friendly staff. My son loves to come here. They lost all of his records before COVID-19 because they changed their database, which is unfortunate.

I've attended Gullivers Coomera for approximately 9 years now in both learn to swim and competitive swimming, and I've found that the staff are lovely and kind. Each of the coaches have a very encouraging nature and want to bring out the best in their swimmers. I highly recommend Gullivers for learn to swim, competitive swimming and adult classes as well.

My son has been coming here for 2 years, to after school care and swimming lessons. He could not swim when we started and he is now learning butterfly. He is very shy and introverted and he has grown socially. We like all the staff and have never had any problems to date.

Do NOT recommend to anyone that is wanting quality care for their children. My son has been attending from mid June until first week of November. We have had problems with bullying and swearing from older children, lack of supervision and a lack of discipline/rules coming from the educators.
I work in child care myself and was unhappy with this - however they did take some action. Due to my pregnancy I had filled out a form for my son to finish and gave two weeks notice. His last day was supposed to be today and was called by his school that he WAS NOT picked up by Gullivers. The school and me were both told by Gullivers staff that he was finished since Thursday YET he attended on Friday. No communication from Gullivers advising me that my son was not picked up - and no sense of urgency now that they have made a mistake. Will NEVER send him to their establishment again and would advise current parents to withdraw their children. In a four month span there has been WAY too many problems.

One of the swimming instructors verbally abused and bullied my three year old child. HIGHLY CONCERNING AND UPSETTING. WILL BE REPORTING TO DEPARTMENT OF CHILD SAFETY.
