I requested to have lollies in separate bags due to dietary requirements and they put them all in one bag not happy

The store looks really lovely and has an excellent range. It was pretty busy when we were there, it's school holidays so lots of kids but none seemed to be causing any issues, mostly little kids with their parents etc. I'm not sure if there was a shoplifter or something but the staff were REALLY full on with their supervision, overbearing and made us all feel uncomfortable. We still spent about $50 on candy but it wasn't the enjoyable shopping experience we had hoped for (taking a little girl on her bday to pick all the candy she wanted, we had planned for it to be magical) high quality cctv is so cheap now days, I'd rather be surrounded by cameras than have staff invading my personal space. Sadly we won't be coming back.

This was my first time in an Australian candy shop, so it was nice to be able to feel the atmosphere of a foreign country that I can't experience in Japan. I can't say, but to be honest, it wasn't very tasty. But it looked cute and I had a good experience, so I'm satisfied.

Well presented, friendly staff, smells like delicious bubble gum and fairy floss and most of all the Pick & Mix lollies and chocolate were all fresh and yum. This is the first lolly shop I've been to where all the gummy, chocolate and wrapped stuff has been fresh and delicious. Seems small from outside but a great selection inside. 5/5 recommend this place (and I'm not much of a sweet tooth, my stash will last me months)!

Thanks to this gem, I can keep fuelling my mum's addiction to white chalk licorice They truly have an impressive range, including specialty sweets that are hard to find.

Extremely overpriced for subpar confectionery. Predatory pricing structure. You’re pretty much just over paying for IGA tier lollies so they can pay their insane rent prices

Such an amazing place went there when I was a kid. This store has been part of my memories my whole life. The staff are amazing and funny. Also go check out exclusive content from them on tiktok.

Huge range of lollies and chocolate. Also a large range of American cereals. Staff were excellent and friendly.

This store is amazing! Easily the best shop in southbank. Everytime I visit southbank I always need to stop here. The range is great, the prices are great and the staff are really friendly! I'll always be returning here.

Love this shop! If you are bummed that the Southbank Cineplex removed their candy wall… pop across the road to here before your movie. Best candy selection anywhere

Sunday 31st of October @ 5: 15pm.whoever that woman was that was rostered on to work shame on you! My family and I are looking around the shop and are approached by her and I quote "security is on the way, do you want to return what you took? " And then you say after being put in your place "wrong person it's the other girl".
If I could give a zero I would. Mate, before you accuse someone of stealing you better have proof. We have been at the childrens hospital for over 2 weeks, very stressed, came out for a walk and have to put up with false accusations. Not coming back!

They are the BEST! They have everything! Plus even during covid they are so accommodating and will go above and beyond to make your experience extra special. Amazing!

Terrible service in here. Lots of ppl waiting to purchase so everyone is crowded together. Staff member opens the 2nd register to put through a fellow staff member not lined up then closes that register and goes back to chatting to another staff member about their weekend.whilst everyone continues to line up for the only open register. Awful!

Update: such a generic reply. The poor service has nothing to do with covid. Staff serving fellow staff members who are finishing their shifts rather than the paying customers lining up is just disrespectful.

Staff are so helpful and kind. Plus the candy and treats are exceptional. First time taking the children to a proper candy store and they non stop talk about it. Hubby was also in absoulte heaven.

The highlight of our Brisbane visits is always stopping in at The Great Aussie Sweet Company and picking up our fav treats to take back to Melbourne. Donna and Glen and their staff are super sweet!

Old fashioned service from a family business. It is not often these days you come across a business that holds the values of the good old days. Friendly, helpful, knowledble staff with great products. But most impressive to me was the time given to just to chat.
