Gordon and Luxton Gourmet Butcher

What can I say, I was picking my wife up from the train station and stumbled across this place. I immediately noticed the meatballs but had to send a photo to my better half to confirm that what I was seeing was real we both agreed they looked divine and they didn't dissapoint. The man behind the counter talked very highly of them which made me feel even more confident. He explained the 180 degrees for 50 minutes to get the perfect cook and cheese melt and boy was he spot on! This product is divine and highly recommended we will be back

Wow, this is a hidden gem in the heart of Graceville. Chris and his team of butchers have created an amazing selection of beautiful, high quality, free range meats. They also have gluten free sausages! Outstanding advice on what to buy, how to cook it for who you are serving regardless if that be family or a prepping dinner for friends, a party or special occasion. There’s real sense of passion in the butcher shop with these guys, an atmosphere of the traditional butcher. Highly recommend. Parking right out front of shop.

It is easy to support local business when it is so good. Have always enjoyed the variety and the staff are super friendly and helpful. My Maryland's and skewers tonight were next level.

I went to Gordon and Luxton Gourmet Butcher to buy 2kg of beef mince to make burgers at my house in celebration for the Melbourne cup. I was a little bit confused because I thought mince was meant to be ground up but to my surprise there were these thick long pieces of meat not ground up inside? I took them out, washed them and inspected them. They kind of looked like worms but were hard and not squishy. I just assumed that it was part of their gourmet style menu so I just put them back into the mince and continued adding my ingredients to make the burgers. Anyways, once I cooked and served them, everyone who got one of these worm things in their burger was on the toilet sick for the rest of the night. I was a bit upset as I asked for normal mince nothing chunky or gourmet so I guess I'll stick with the Coles butcher for now.

Literally gave the following reason for no longer providing a young woman who has aspergers syndrome (with no complaints against her) with work: "If she had an obvious disability, like down syndrome, people would think I'm a great guy for employing her, but people won't realise what's wrong with someone like her".

For once "gourmet" is used correctly. Chris is a butcher who truly knows his subject and stocks only the very, very best quality meat. Excellent, traditional butcher, the best I've discovered in Brisbane.

Without a doubt the best butcher I’ve ever been to. The guys here have top shelf wagyu which never disappoints. It could turn a vegan into a vampire. All the other cuts are such high quality as well. But the main reason I’ll keep coming back is the service. The guys are so friendly I might invite them over for Christmas dinner. I like them more than my family. Give them a go and you won’t regret it.

This place has an amazing offering of fresh meats. The sausages are great, the owner has done really well. Get some.
