Goodstart Early Learning Clayfield

Both my baby and toddler attend Goodstart Clayfield and I could not be happier with the centre. The educators are wonderful and I am so proud of the development I I see in both my children. From the enrollment process to everyday communication, the team are professional, friendly and make everything simple. I could not recommend the centre more highly.

Absolutely love Goodstart Clayfield! The staff are so caring, kind and the center has a beautiful family feel. My daughter loves attending and has made wonderful friends and enjoys a lovely bond with the educators. Keep up the great work team!

Very happy with our experience at Clayfield! The educators all know the kids well and genuinely care about them. On numerous occasions staff have gone the extra mile and stayed behind to chat about our kid's day with us and share a funny story or two. Facilities are well maintained and our little one loves the outdoor areas. Communication with us during the day is also great. Very happy with our choice.

My daughter began attending Goodstart Clayfield this year. In her time at the centre, I have seen growth in her personality, vocabulary and her confidence.

She is well cared for in the centre and she is building positive relationships with children and staff alike.

The staff are approachable, communicative and very knowledgeable in child development and education. Personally, I like that when I pick up my daughter every afternoon, the educators are happy to take the time to speak with me about the day they’ve had and generally how my child is going.

The activities within the centre are age appropriate, relevant and fun. They encourage learning through play and the days are well structured to ensure the kids are consistently challenged and entertained.

Since commencing care with Goodstart, I have had no issues or concerns and I would not hesitate to recommend the centre to any person seeking interactive child care for their child.

This is a wonderful daycare, our daughter started in the baby/toddler room after being at 2 previous centres.
All of the educators really care about the children and about making each day a wonderful experience.

I struggled to find a new care Centre when we moved that I was comfortable with. The moment I stepped into Goodstart, I was so impressed by the staff and family environment that was present. My daughter absolutely loves coming to school and the educators who provide such a balanced environment of learning through Play. My daughter had grown into such an independent and empathetic human being. I could not recommended the centre and the staff enough as they are genuinely caring for all the children in the centre.

Such a lovely centre with staff that are so caring. Love that the meals are provided and we don't have to worry about packing a lunchbox.

My 4 year old daughter loves this Beautiful little family, she joined this place 2 years ago. All the educators are very caring and supportive. I highly recommend this daycare.

This is the second Day care I have sent my daughter too and I am so happy to have moved her to here the confidence my 1 year old has shown since starting here is unbelievable, her development in the past few months is outstanding, the bonds the teachers create with the kids is great my daughter used to cry and cling to me at drop off time but since starting at this centre she is soo happy to go and join her friends and teachers and I even get a goodbye wave from her I cannot Thank the educators enough for everything they do, for the bond and love they show to the kids while us parents go back to work and the communication I receive from the centre on a daily ranging from the skills they worked on that day to what she ate, how many bottles she had, how long she slept etc recommend this centre 100%

We absolutely love Good start early learning such wonderful loving and caring staff. We really like how they encourage the kids to try new things and have fun with it. So thank you for providing such a caring and safe environment for our son to learn and grow.

My daughter has been with Goodstart since Jan 17, and what a difference. Coming from a poorly run larger centre the difference is amazing! The staff are lovely, the centre is clean and they take sickness seriously, resulting in less germs being spread! My girl has learnt so much since starting. I love the way the centre embraces all the different corners of the world the kids come from!

Love this daycare centre since my elder girl started to go to this daycare back to 7 years ago and my younger one is still in the daycare now. The director and all the educators are awesome with good caring attitude to the children and my little one loves to talk what has been happening at the centre when she comes home, especially her educators and friends. Though the current fee is pretty high, we still love this centre and both of my girls treated it as the secondary home to them. Good one!

Walking up to the 'Grandma's house' style cottage and hearing the laughter of children in the centre, I knew that Goodstart Clayfield was going to be a warm and comfortable place for my son. Our Centre Director Sara and amazing teachers, Trish, Ashlee and Claudia are always so welcoming and greet us by name. My son has come so far since moving centres a few months ago. He is more confident in a group, his diet has broadened, he understands things more and he finally started walking. He loves his teachers and rarely gets upset when I say goodbye in the morning. Couldn't ask for a better team than the lovely ladies at Clayfield. Keep up the amazing work!

I would highly recommend Clayfield Goodstart Early Learning centre to any families looking for quality, family oriented and safe care options for their little ones. All the educators are so caring and professional and its obvious looking at the centre, the centre director has put a lot of effort and thought in to creating an enriching space for the little ones.

The staff members are always happy to help. I wonder if those who left negative review acrually took the time to talk to the director or any staff member regarding their concerns?

Sounds like the previous reviewers either have a personal axe to grind or not willing to ask basic questions of the center staff.

The new center director has really stepped up Clayfield and is refreshing change from other directors. She is engaged with parents, the local community, the kids love her & has invested a lot of herself into Clayfield. All it takes is to talk to her & she would bend over backwards to help.

Don't go to fair trading cause you have a dispute with Goodstart's standard policies, try picking up the phone and actually ask the director who can deal with account issues. Even if your child care benefit has run out they are willing to negotiate.

Also the payments in advance is fairly typical when it comes to care & if you don't attend the full days they can arrange a refund - simple. The advance payment is so they can lock in numbers, plan staff numbers for the week & arrange activities.

Severe account mismanagement, harm to my child that we were not notified of. I had to get Fair Trade and the Early Childhood and Education Council involved

Mixed experience so far (Good learning but money oriented), my younger son started going to this child care about a year back, initially he was going just once a week and there were no issues with fee payments etc, recently he started going 4 days a week and suddenly we have been told to pay 2 weeks fee every week, still trying to understand this policy, I can understand fee to be paid 2 weeks in advance however paying 2 weeks fee every week doesn't make any sense to me, it was also said that if we chose direct debit (ezy debit) then it's ok to pay 1 week fee every week.

Not sure parents are forced to either pay double fee or start using ezydebit, either of this is not correct, will be speaking with the director next week, hope it will resolves the issue.
