Super rude customer service and bad experience. The club manager clearly said ‘we are a very busy club with more than 7000 customers’, which is explicitly said I do not need you to come here to our club. My husband has been with GL a Platinum (plus 1guest on the weekend) brought me in on Sat 20/01 and we were attacked by both staff and the club manager. We went here many weekends without knowing about staff hours until today she accused us tailgating as we entered the premises after 2 pm. We did not want to argue but she kept attacking and escalating the situation by saying the contract T& C has been changed and he cannot bring a guest (which is totally wrong and untruthful). She also threatened us many times by saying I would fine you right here and right now. I cannot accept this kind of attitude towards the member and guest. I will definitely choose another club. Shame on you Goodlie!

This is a really good gym now. I’ve been going here more over the Christmas period as it’s close to home and more convenient than my usual one which is closer to where I work. Great variety of equipment and I’ve never had to wait to use what I want. Congratulations on the vast improvement in the cleanliness of the facilities. Looks so clean most of the time now. Staff friendly. Keep up the great work. Happy now to continue coming to this gym more often now

If i could give 0 stars i would.firstly, i highly do not recommend this gym at all, ever since day one there has been issues.i was rushed through my membership agreement, and then i moved and couldn’t pay for my membership any more.i called multiple times asking to cancel my membership from as early as april, they told me they would send me a confirmation, and it never came.i then kept running into debts with them even when i wasn’t attended the gym.i brought those debts up to date and i was still being charged after multiple times of me asking to cancel my account.they forced me to pay for fees 8 months after not attending the gym.the customer service was so rude and wasn’t understanding and kept lying to me.if you want to go to a gym around the same area, i highly recommend anytime fitness around the corner, their customer service is exceptional and 110% better than goodlife

Lots of equipment, staff are incredible and atmosphere is overly pretty good as well. We went when it was super busy and still got all of our sets in without having to wait for a machine.

Anthony Dolman was very helpful my card got cancelled due to fraud and I missed one payment, I wasn't sure how to update my details! So I called up and I explained my situation to Anthony, he quickly resolved my issue and did it in a professional matter.

I was 22 I started weight lifting then started to compete around fn qld, Cairns, Townsville, Rockhampton and Brisbane. I gave it away at 29. Now I'm 61 so I decided I need to get fit again so I've started my journey just for my health, and well-being. If you see me say hello I don't bite.

Showers not clean. Strong cautionary tale about using the female showering facilities. For the last three Mondays I have used the F showers (wearing thongs thank goodness) there are four cubicles provided and all are backing up with the water pooling and not draining away. This is the reason why - see photo. An additional observation is the uncleaned walls of each of these cubicles with layers of overlapping streaks of shampoo and conditioner suggesting long intervals between slapdash cleaning. Lift your game please.

I was interested to do a Zumba class that's why I went there to give it a go but I was so dissapointed to realise that I was not doing Zumba. Don't get me wrong, the instructor was good but it was not what the timetable say. When we got there at the reception, we waited for a while to be attended but finally we've got noticed. YES! Somehow, I had fun going out. Thanks.
. Even though, I didn't give five star to this gym the last time, we kept going to do Zumba as casual visitors because they have other instructors and we enjoy doing Zumba but tonight, it was so bad. They didn't let us go in?
The staff member said that one of the managers who was standing next to her, nodded "no" to her and then the staff member said to us that they're just going to be finished and be closing soon and the reception will be unattended? We're there before seven. This is the first time we encountered a situation like this. We were thinking to join this club but not anymore.

I have moved from Gold Coast to Brisbane and I am looking for a good gym with good zumba classes.
I went to Goodlife Richlands with Wanda and it was disappointing.
She only used real zumba music for the stretching. Even thought she was charming and involved people in the class, she only played and danced cabaret and disco music.
These classes are far away comparable to the zumba classes at Helensvale or Indooroopilly where the Latin-American music and movements are presented.

The Asian guy with the curtains at the front desk was extremely rude to me for no reason maybe good life needs to do something about this?

This place doesn't even worth a 1 star. 100% agree with all the others about how greedy this gym is. 'REFER A FRIEND PROMO & GET FREE WEEKS AD' is just bullcrap! 2-3 months later, my husband still chasing the free weeks from them.
Not to mention I had been having issues with my tag too previously when they signed me up. Couldn't get in as tag wasn't working. I had to take a day off work to come in & fix the tag. ‍️

Friendly staff. Has most things for a good workout. Some food and supplement options. Sauna is a bonus. Classes on most days. Decent spot for a workout considering how busy it can get.

I was not happy with gym at all. I was in casual pass, paid more money but get my flexibility on cancellation membership, when I was being consulted for membership option, I had been told that any time cancelation with 1 week notice after I told them I was not sure how long I will be committed to gym and might move to another location soon. Now when I decided to cancel my membership, I need to pay 1 month after my notice, not 1 week in advance as been told, this is terrible, given wrong information. Just be careful, reading contract carefully not blindly signed like me.

Phone stolen during staffed hours. Was asked to get a police report to be able to view CCTV. Once police report was obtained, apparently only senior management could look at footage and they were on holidays. Couple weeks later even they can’t view it without police presence. Thanks will go workout elsewhere and not amongst thieves and their accomplices.

Exceptionally poor service, terrible staff, very unhelpful and ridiculously priced. Wouldn’t recommend. Save your money and go to better gyms that actually care about their clients!

Goodlife Richlands is the sort of place that will acknowledge that you ain't continuing the contract and still charge you an extra 3 months worth for their own greed. Definitely do not recommend

Unfortunately not a great experience. I have called 5 times this morning and no one is answering the phone. That alone does not justify a 1 star review though, certainly the straw that broke this camels back thoguh.

When I joined I price checked the membership with Goodlife Jindalee who offered me more and the sales person at Richlands was quite dirty about it. I joined for the classes and finding a club that offered the class I wanted at the time I needed was important but within a week of joining the time table changed and no one informed me. Turning up for your first session at 5am to find out it's not on was disapointing.

I think I used the membership twice in the year after that. My house flooded and I had to move from the area. None of this is their fault, just a series of events that led to my one star review so you can contextualise and make up your own mind.

Been here for a year, nearly a year and pretty much am stuck in a contract with this gym. Signed up not long after opening. Haven’t had any contact from staff about personal training sessions or promo, when I signed up. The guy who signed me up rushed through the whole process, because he was finishing his shift. My sister and I were.just like “ok.that’s it? ” Lol Haven’t been offered any kind of promo stuff like I did at Anytime fitness. Anytime was awesome. I left anytime fitness for good life because good life was closer and I was traveling to Goodna Anytime fitness. The staff at AF are way better, in terms of genuine customer service and actually taking care of their clients. Regret leaving them. Actually trying to go back, but GOODLIFE won’t let me leave unless I find someone else who can take my membership. Most members I’ve come across at Goodlife seem like they don’t care about their customers, their service even their tone of voice, when talking to you they are rude and have the looking down on clients kind of attitude. The facilities they need have more space for their weight lifting area it’s just too cramped.
