BEST EXPERIENCE EVER
Being a total newbie wanting to tick of a bucket list item I made the best decision ever in choosing Gold Coast Skydive the team are the absolute bomb! From the first call to book my jump to the day of jumping I could not of asked for more professional, easy going, amazing people. From the team behind the scenes to the SUPER AWESOME instructors I could not recommend them highly enough. They made my day so enjoyable & fun, there expertise in calming nerves is incredible as I had a wigout about exiting the plane & it was no fuss all good let’s go & I cannot thank my instructor Mike enough for giving me the biggest adrenaline rush of my life! Phil, my outside cameraman is impeccable at his job, giving me footage of memories I’ll have for life of my first jump I felt super safe with the whole team, using only the best equipment available, attention to detail was paramount for them. Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou! I’m now hooked & will be booking my next jump in a couple of weeks If you’re thinking of skydiving & are in any doubt, seriously get in touch with these guys

Had a wonderful time doing a tandem skydive! I felt safe and comfortable even though I was scared at first. So worth it and the team made it so fun by hyping us up! They made me want to do it again, highly recommend this place:)

Though I have received 2/3 refunds I would still like to take the time to leave a review as I’m still dealing with the effects 2 months later and would like my experience to be heard.
On the 28/07 I took my partner and his sister to skydive as I had been here once before. Unfortunately I had an experience that ended very badly.
I was taken advantage of from my instructor and emailed about this matter which included ways I was inappropriately interacted with such as being touched too much to the point of uncomfortability, I had comments being made that were innapropriate, I was being complimented on my features; you have a cute little nose whilst it being touched multiple times, I was made to sit on his lap which has been cleared up by saying this is procedure but yet still so uncomfortable hand in hand with these other things, He was trying to intertwine his fingers with mine multiple times while being told to cross my arms which is unnecessary during that explanation especially as I had immediately done it correctly and have been before.
It took 2 weeks for my complaint to be responded to by the owner which in itself was very poorly handled.
The owner contacted me for a phone call which resulted in him trying to defend my instructor such as saying he’s ex military, he’s been skydiving for years, he really respects him etc before even giving me the opportunity to speak about my experience. Aswell as trying to validate ‘selected’ actions with safety protocols yet ignoring the other few complaints.
The whole phone call gave off the intention of just defending the instructor especially as it started off as “I can give you a refund BUT……. ” and disgracefully ending with “If you find an experience better than jumping out of the air, you let me know” which is very very poorly handled and invalidating. He didn’t appropriately respond to anything I had said on my behalf and better yet ADMITTED that my instructor sends his apology as he himself admitted to “stepping over the line a little”.
I received a refund after asking for all 3 as I paid for them and had this experience taken away from me which resulted in getting 2/3 back. The owner ignored multiple messages regarding my refunds and I then received one single message saying “money will go into account today” and that’s it.
Very unprofessionally handled and really invalidated myself and my experience.
I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else!

I had an absolute blast skydiving with Gold Coast Skydiving, and instructor Adam made it even more amazing! The customer service was outstanding, and Adam's guidance was both professional and friendly. Jumping out over the Gold Coast with this team was a thrilling adventure I won't forget. If you're looking for an incredible skydiving experience with superb customer service, this place is a fantastic choice!

My experience with Gold Coast Skydive was absolutely exhilarating! From the moment I arrived at their facility, I felt in safe hands. The team was incredibly professional, and they made sure I was comfortable and well-prepared for the jump.

The jump itself was a heart-pounding adventure. Freefalling over the stunning Gold Coast landscape was an indescribable sensation, and the feeling of the parachute opening was pure euphoria. The views during the descent were breathtaking.

I have to give a shoutout to my tandem instructor, who was not only highly skilled but also super friendly and reassuring throughout the entire experience.

It is a unforgetable experience, 3rd attempt. 2 were cancelled a year ago and finally made it. Its amazing and unbelievable experience with the help of my corageous tandem/instructor James Trosby all thtoughout the skydive journey, he was great, nice and funny after I watched my video Thank you James and Skydive. A gft that will never forget.

It was a great experience, the crew made me feel comfortable and at ease, really experienced team…. It was my first time and i would recommend this company to anyone thinking of having a go! Sam is a legend!

What another unforgettable exhilarating experience with Gold Coast Skydive! The team there are incredibly professional as well as vibrant & fun, making this jump extra special for my 50th birthday. An event such as this can normally be nerve racking but you feel right at ease from the very moment you walk through the door. This was my second jump with this company & found that it was even better this time around. Special shout outs to my amazing instructor Sam extremely talented not just for the jump itself but for the incredible video footage that he captured “unbelievable “! Also, to Bailey on the front counter greeting us with her beautiful smile & outgoing personality, really made it a pleasure to be there!
Final note, look no further if you want to experience the best & most memorable moment in your life, just book in & take the leap you won’t regret it!

I had the best experience skydiving for my 40th birthday! Instructor James was very professional and made the whole experience so fun! The 15 minute scenic flight over Coolangatta was a fantastic experience and we were lucky to have a beautiful clear day. I am however a little disappointed with the booking process as I booked in November (2 months ahead) for the ultimate package (go pro photos/videos plus external camera). I phoned and booked it all in to ensure I got the external camera person so they could book out the extra seat on the plane. I got a call a few days before my jump to say they were fully booked due to the busy new year period and was advised they can't do the external camera as there was no room on the plane. Considering I booked 2 months in advance, I was rather disappointed. I called back and asked if there was any other time slot on the day where I could get the second camera person and was advised they could move me 3.30pm time slot (the girl on the phone verified this with the manager). On the day of my jump, the receptionist said there was no notes made on the booking system of my request for the external camera and that the plane was full. I explained my time slot was moved because I was advised I could get the ultimate package on the 3.30pm timeslot.
But now the plane was full so I couldn't get my external camera (again that I booked 2 months in advance for!) I was offered a timeslot the next day however I was a) already there and b) we were leaving the next day (also, after all this I knew there would be no guarantee if I did turn up the next day I would get the ultimate package) I understand early January is a busy period, however if the external camera can't be guaranteed this should be made clear to the customer upfront at the time of booking. I can only imagine it was overbooked because they would get more money from an extra person jumping as opposed to the external camera fee. Also, the jump was delayed an hour due to delays at the airport - understandable that is out of their control, however a call to advise customers would be courteous.

All in all, a great experience jumping and the go pro photos and videos were great and I can't fault the professionalism of the tandem instructors and pilot, I am just disappointed with the booking process.

What an amazing way to start the day - we had the best time with James and Luke & have memories and videos that will keep us smiling for years! The whole team are super efficient and helpful we felt super safe and if you're wondering whether to go for it, I really recommend taking the dive at Kirra:)

I would highly recommend these guys if you are considering skydiving. They are all amazing. Make you feel extremely welcome from the time you arrive to the time you leave. They explain everything and ensure your jump is the best and it certainly was. I can’t wait to come se you guys again for my next jump.

It was my first skydive ever. Had great experience. My tandem instructor "Adam Davies" was very friendly and professional. He clearly explained everything and made the dive easy for me. Overall everyone was friendly and looking after everyone from check-in to check-out.great experience and definitely recommend.

Couldn't be happier with the experience, easy location to get to. Super friendly staff. If you're fortunate enough to get Sam as your tandem instructor/partner I can guarentee he'll go above and beyond. I celebrated my birthday and got a video/photo package and it was the little details in the editing that truly made it worth it. Can't wait to go back!
