Gold Coast Aquatic Centre reviews
64The centre is great, but having to pay for parking and then pay a spectator entrance fee while i wait for my son while he is training is ridiculous.
Nice gym, however small with minimal equipment - you've got to get creative with your workouts. Staff are all nice and happy, however they're unprofessional when it comes to the contracts. Upon signing up I was told it's a no lock in contract and I can cancel at any time, only when I went to cancel my membership I was told to pay the full amount owing for my 6 Month contract - which I was not made aware of having to commit for 6 months. So I didn't cancel and continued paying, and then when my 6 months was finally finished I went to cancel my membership and was told I had to give them 2 weeks notice, which I was also not made aware of. It's disappointing and makes the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre look like all they care about is your money.
Great. Nice, clean swimming pool. Staff is nice. Freediving is not permitted for safety reason except diving clubs. Refer to pool staff.
I am a carer of a person in a wheel chair. I have to pay $3 to watch my client on the water, just in case he is drowning.
Omg the pools are so clean the staff are friendly and the showers and toilets are fresh I will be back my first time in 12 years To go to the pool
The staff allow bigger children to abuse and attack physically younger children with disabilities during swimming lessons.
Great location but parking a tab hard to get when events are on. Food choices are limited and average. Majority of staff are really friendly and helpful.
Not nice service and rebooking rules, when you are sick you can’t rebook your lesson, they still charge you, not understanding at all, don’t want to go again
Lovely swimming to come for a swim. My children come here for swimming classes and the instructors are great/ friendly/ skilled/ professional. I highly recommend this GC aquatic centre in Southport to parents who are looking for a swim school for their kids. We have been coming since October 2019.
Great facilities with a few swimming pools. Parking can be expensive if you there for a while. Park down the road at the boat ramp for free
I wouldnt bother coming here if u have young kids there is nothing for them, total waste, coomera west field has a better kids area
Not suitable for toddlers as they don't have a proper play area.very disappointing.waste of money this morning.for the entry and parking only stayed 30min. Won't be back
I didn't swim yet. I was just passing nearby with my Friend and we took some photos. Looks really nice and fresh night time.
Always pleasant, pools clean and sparkling, surrounds clean, underwater can see entire length, guards always monitoring, front counter girl with good customer service
I would never take my child here again after the treatement we were subjected to when I took my disadvantaged son for private learn to swim lessons. The swim school was great however the staff handling bookings, phone calls, emails & any other admin work are grossly inexperienced, inconsiderate & unprofessional.

Although the pools are ok but there is hopelessly inadequate seating available, and not enough shaded areas especially when it's busy. The indoor pool is nice for little ones but the flooring around this pool is very slippery. They could have added more fun water play for the smaller kids outside such as water slides etc.
We have only used the public pool here, but it has a good range of facilities, memberships and classes.
Only down side would be the fact you have to pay for parking.
This is a pseudo "public" pool that is primarily used for profit and to line the pockets of local businesses running swimming schools. They will even take your money before you go in only to find all the lanes are booked by instructors. If you take your kids swimming regularly it's cheaper to get Wet n Wild passes.
I did not realize what a fabulous job had been done on the re-build for comm games. Place is amazing & has so much to offer from pools, classes & fitness centre. All offered a really great rates & the location cannot be beaten.
