Godfreys Mount Gravatt Superstore reviews
25Great customer service at this store. I was having a lot of trouble with a Vacuum I purchased - the manager Fen and other sales person Belinda provided a solution for me which I was very pleased about. Excellent customer service.
I recently went into the store last weekend and the customer service was a standout.i rarely post reviews of retail stores, but the team at godfrey’s were fantastic.thank you again!
Hi, i went into the store as i thought my dyson was broken. The lovely ladies fixed it as there was plastic and paper stuck. They went out of their way to help me. I offered to pay. I highly recommend this store as i was treated as a person and not a number.
Thanks again ladies. Regards Suzy and the Ragdoll kitties
Wonderful customer service, sales staff were amazing in helping my roommate and I choose the best product.
Jordie at the Mount Gravatt shop was amazing today and helped me find what i desperately needed!
Lovely staff but whatever you do DONT BUY A TINECO PURE ONE cordless stick vacuum cleaner. Woefully weak suction, abysmal battery life. They really should not sell this useless product.
Quite annoying staff. I said twice that I just wanted to browse and the sales staff wouldn't leave me alone. I was going to buy 2 items but he wouldn't stop talking and was showing me items outside of my price range. Quite bad sales skills. Wont shop there again.
Great. Knowledgeable service and didn't try to oversell. Much better than trying to buy from general retailers.
I had the pleasure of shopping in your store last Friday 5th June.
My friend & I were served by a very friendly & knowledgeable young man (I’m really sorry I didn’t get his name).
I was looking for a new vacuum for my high set house, old carpet with 4 cats, two birds & three adult humans so needed to have something that had great suction & was “ bulletproof”!
I had set in my mind an upright, (as I have back issues & find them easier to push), bag less (easier to clean & empty).
I was asked all the relevant questions why this? , why that? , have I considered? , & was then shown ALL different types & models, uprights, sticks, barrels, and also shown suction capacity & comparison as well.
I left buying something totally different to what I had in mind, I was NOT pressured, nor pushed, I was well informed & left very happy.
I’ve used it upstairs & downstairs & even taken it into my shop & gave it a true test.
I took before & after photos which even confirms my informed choice was correct.
For those interested I bought a Hoover Regal with a power head and was given a great deal too.
5 ***** To the nameless young sales assistant at Godfreys Mt Gravatt & THANKYOU.
My vacuum cleaner stopt working and I went to Godfrey's. The employee looked at it and solved the problem which was done in no time. He didn't charge me for the repair, so I thanked him for the great service he gave me.
My compliments to Godfreys.
I called in to buy refillable bags for an average vacuum cleaner that they sold me. I had in my hand a Dyson brochure, when I asked for the bags, the sales man got mad at me for considering Dyson. He told me that the Dyson battery operated vacuums was for lazy people and that they were over rated. The problem I had was that I didn’t ask, I just wanted my bags. I think this guy was rude and I ended up buying the Dyson and it’s the best vacuum I have ever bought.
Really bad customer service, provided wrong information on warranty period, unhelpful posture and attitude.
We went to this store on Friday 7/2 with a vacuum cleaner my husband had bought a couple of years ago from this store. As soon as we told the 2 sales people the problem, they both were on to it and worked very well together, to fix our cleaner. We were both super impressed with there attitude, helpfulness, kindness and expertise. We came away feeling very satisfied. We now live on the north side, but when we next need a vacuum cleaner or parts we will be going back to this Mount Gravatt store. Especially as the Godfreys store at Chermside was less than helpful.
Michael at the Mt Gravatt home-maker store is brilliant! He fixed my (very expensive) hoover in 10 mins.after the repair centre had returned it, advising they couldn't find the fault. Michael has a rare mixture of experience, knowledge, and a genuine want to help the customer Godreys, you have a one in a million employee there.
Michael is always a pleasure to deal with. Goes above and beyond every time. Stayed back after hours for us to pick up a vacuum we needed next day and wouldn't have had time to collect otherwise.
My partner and I visited this store on Logan Road about 6 months ago with the view to purchase a vacuum cleaner within our budget ($200). The salesman proceeded to show us what the vacuum cleaner we liked could clean/pick up on a piece of demonstration carpet. He then continued to show us more expensive models and said how they were superior to what we wanted. We said that we cannot afford something with a $1,000+ price tag. So he questioned us, "So you want to have dirty carpet? " and demanded to know our answer. He clearly did not consider what we as customers wanted. My partner and I were really uncomfortable with the forceful approach of this man and quickly left the store without purchasing anything!
I went in to buy the cheapest steam mop ($50). To cut a long story short, because you can't put chemicals in it and I flat out said I wasnt paying over $250 for a steam mop, Jacquilyn suggested the spray mop. She was really approachable and factual and didnt have a sales pitch to her at all. I was about to spend $70 (steam mop and 2 x covers), had my card out and everything, but she actually stopped me and chose out what I needed (spray mop and 2 x covers) and so I spent $55. Not a huge savings, but she could have tried to upsell me if she wanted. She mentioned a special floor cleaner but I declined then suddenly this older guy went on about how fabulous it was, making me feel like I have to buy it or I'mwasting my time mopping. No thanks. Thanks jacquilyn, I would definitely buy from you again.
Thanks Jacqueline, hope i spell her name right.
Called in yesterday for advice about products pros and cons and purchased today. She really knows what she is selling.
Actually i walked pass the shop in Garden city and interested in to one of their promotions but the sales lady tried to sell me different products which more than double prices from what i was looking at. She didnt even ask what floors my place are so i walked out immediately.
When I wouldn't buy the product recommended because it wasn't the brand I had asked for, the salesperson quipped "so you prefer a nice smell instead of the carpet being clean". Rude, and people with that attitude don't deserve my custom!
