The customer service was lovely! He showed us a few vacuums and demonstrated 2 of them. He addressed our cleaning needs versus my physical limitations due to injury and we were given time to think over our purchase.

I came in with a number of different questions and requirements. Matt G did an excellent job of addressing them, providing options & comparisons. I felt very satisfied with my final choice based on his recommendations.

I brought my vacuum cleaner in as it had stopped turning. Matt G was on the phone and politely asked the person if he could call them back as a client had just walked in, he then proceeded to greet and serve me. He looked at my vacuum cleaner and within 5 mins had fixed it. Wonderful, friendly service, highly recommend. Thanks so much!

Honestly very happy with the professional service I got when I visited this store, the workers did an amazing job demonstrating the vacuum cleaner's features patiently. I hope my new vacuum doesn't become faulty anytime soon but rest assured I'd come back here if it does. 10/10 would come again

I have never had a bad experience with Godfrey's. Any breakages that have happened within warranty have been quickly and easily fixed. Any breakages after my warranty have also been quickly and easily fixed. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

Outstanding & professional service provided by Tony, my wife and I were really impressed with our purchase experience (Tineco S3). Tony took the time to ensure we knew he'd see to us after finalising another sale, then answered our questions & demonstrated the machine patiently and with a zero pressure manner. We'll be back when it's time to upgrade our stick vacuum.

On 23/01/2021 I visited the store asking for a repair of a motor-brush for a Hoover vacuum cleaner. I was helped by a young man called Matthew who not only tested the system in store, but was able to identify the fault - a frayed transmission belt - right there in the shop. He offered to source the parts and did not take a pre-payment, which is a real sign of trust given today's general business atmosphere. I am very impressed with his professionalism, courteous behaviour towards me as a customer and attention to detail. From my perspective, his performance also reflects positively on this store itself.

Found store staff, Matt and Chloe very helpful and knowledgable about their products. Bought a Hoover Zenith, which is great. The swivel head and LED lights on the hoover head are a fantastic feature, won't be without these two features now. Excellent for picking up dog hair on a wooden floor.

Very unorganised with the repairs of my Sauber Intelligence SI-200. The service department didn't even touch it even when I told the guy over the phone that I needed the lid replacement.
Initially they quoted over $350 to replace the motor, the lid and the filter. I told the guy, do not replace the motor, but replace the lid and the filter. I came and pick it up tonight (11/06/20) and they didn't even touch it. So they had the vacuum for 3 weeks and just doing some social distancing %^&*&&* () (*&^%.
Also DO NOT ever buy Sauber Brand! I spent over $1,200 on this back in 2012, the sales person told me it's a 10 years service and replacement warranty. Of course after few years, it start breaking apart. The casing is made of plastics and on the 8th year, the motor stopped running. The replacement cost for the motor was quoted at $199. Then when I asked the guy (Matt on the phone) how many years warranty on the motor replacement, he said no warranty at all, if it breaks again, it just means I'll have to bring it to the shop again and may pay more to replace another broken parts.
Paying $199 (it's a 1/3 of a new Dyson) with no warranty afterwards is like throwing money away, if you could just buy a new Vacuum.
Totally get done by Godfreys and Sauber!

Product quality is underpar. Repair took ages. I encounter 2 sales person. One was fantastic and helpful. The other was playing the pushing game. Been to this store a few times, mainly good customer service.

Went into this store and i have put in a request for parts, however i am still waiting for a phone call back, wrote down my number on a loose piece of paper and have simply no intention of getting back to me or helping me with my request, and when i call the store the phone is of the hook. Dissapointing as i really need these parts.

Wish i read these reviews before purchasing. Worst possible store for a vacuum. Product was faulty and cuts out before 10mins of vacuuming. My only response was employees rudely passing the blame and being obnoxious. No refund policy, they wanted to send my unit away for goodness knows how long. Im honestly better off not wasting my time. Cheaper better units available at Kmart right next to them or just go to Jb Hifi or Myer for higher end units. Avoid this place at all costs.

I actually had a really pleasant experience buying. Staff were friendly and put up with me waiting for payment details over the phone. Godfrey's data collection isn't great though, and they should ensure that it is the case, and that staff know, that you can opt out from providing it.

Not only are the products faulty (We bought a $1500 Sabuer Vaccume - Its been back several times for repairs and is NOT Worth the money! We bought this vaccume after the first one purchased from this store set on fire) The customer service is terrible. I really regret buying from this store.
