Godfreys Fortitude Valley Superstore

We had an issue with a vacuum we recently purchased. More than likely user error however Kyle the manager at Fortitude Valley was amazing. He is so knowledgeable and went the extra mile to look after us. I can highly recommend purchasing from here, especially if Kyle assists you. You don't often get customer service like that any more so this was really refreshing. I will definitely purchase from there again. Thanks for all your help Kyle.

This is a disappointing experience in Godfreys. I bought a brand new vacuum cleaner here, I found that all of the components included the boxes and package were open but the staff never told me about it. One of the disposable paper dust bags is already in the unit. Although it was discount deal but I m not expect it seems like a second hand product.

Great store with good selection of cleaning supplies! It’s the 3rd time I am buying from this shop and Matt G is so professional and nice, he always gets the right products for my needs!

I've been a loyal customer from Runaway Bay to Toombul. I always go to my local.since toombul close down due to the 2022 floods, my go to guy was and is Kyle who's now the Mgr of the Vally store, I won't go any where else, when I have issues Kyle and his team always help out. Always going above and beyond. I can't recommend Kyle and his team enough.they know what customer service is all about especially in 2023 when everything is rushed, and you're treated like another number.but not at the Valley store!

I've sometimes called the 1800 number where the staff are sometimes rude and misinformed, they genuinely don't care. I've experienced that first hand. I've worked in customer service and retail, in fact many many years ago I worked at Godfrey's in Carindale, so I get it.

So if you need help or after after new cleaning machines, go see Kyle and his team.you won't regret it! I haven't!

I got served by a young Māori guy he was super sweet and helpful. Much better then the service I got in indooroopilly where I was completely ignored for 10 minutes

I took my vacuum in on New Years Eve as I was having issues with suction and Kyle was very helpful and cleared the blockage and didn’t charge for it. I would definitely recommend Godfrey’s Fortitude Valley and I’ll definitely buy my next vacuum from there.

The staff made it super easy to find what I want and arrange delivery as well as being friendly. I was in and out with what I wanted in about 5 minutes.

Matt G helped me and my husband at the Fortitude Valley store on 31 Dec and he was fantastic. He spent quite a bit of time demonstrating the Tineco and Bissell hard floor cleaners for us, and talked about the robo vacuums too. He was incredibly knowledgeable and had sensible answers for all our detailed questions. We just wouldn’t have gotten the same information doing our own web research so a visit is highly recommended if you are as unsure as we initially were. Thank you Matt!

Kyle at Godfrey’s in the Valley is the perfect example of outstanding Customer Service, extremely knowledgeable, very welcoming, saved me money instead of pushing high priced item. Highly recommend visiting Kyle at the Valley store for any needs.

Where do I start. Last week, we bought a Roborock robot vacuum from Godfreys at Fortitude valley in Brisbane. We couldn’t get it to link up to our internet at home so we could control it through the mobile phone. It was also doing some strange things when we turned it on. Spoke several times to Kyle at store trying to get it working properly but to no avail. He told us to bring it back and that they would exchange it for either same or a different make. We ended up staying with the Roborock as it had great reviews and was recommended. Got the new one home, charged it up, hooked up to internet first go and away we went. We were so happy we even named it - “Roxy”! Just want to shout out to Avonn and Kyle at Godfrey’s. They were so helpful. Kyle went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied. Nothing was too hard for him and his customer service is probably the best I have ever experienced. If you are looking for a quality vacuum of any sort, give the guys at Godfrey’s Fortitude Valley a go. You will not be disappointed. Merry xmas to all.

Matt was very helpful in assisting us choosing our carpet shampoo machine. He gave us a demonstration of how it all worked and even assisted in loading it into our car.

Kyle at Godfreys is amazing. He carried my vacuum cleaner in from the car and fixed it right there on the spot within 30 minutes. I really appreciated his helpful and cheerful manner.

I brought my Vax vacuum, which had stopped working, to the store to be repaired. The two guys who were working (I think their names were Kyle and Avonn) were extremely diligent, taking my vacuum apart and checking to see what the issue might be. It turned out that my vacuum wasn’t broken, it just had a ridiculous amount of fur (I blame my cat) and a lighter (I blame my partner) stuck in it. Kyle and Avonn cleaned the excess fur and debris out and tested the vacuum before they handed it back to me. The whole thing took less than 10 minutes and when I asked how much I owed them, they said, “nothing”. It doesn’t happen too often to receive such excellent service and to have such friendly and accomodating staff. I can definitely recommend this store!

Most helpful and knowledgeable staff. Matt went out of his way to help me. He heard my problem and offered the best solution possible. I never felt I was being misguided or forced to buy something I don't need. The products were great as well.

We came to store for a vaccum cleaner last saturday, but we were not certain yet what to buy.
Matthew demonstrated model that we had in mind, discussed with us size of the house, what kind of carpet, hardwood we had, how often we clean and suggested that the selected model will not likely satisfy our requirements. He provided reasonable explanations how he arrived to that conclusion. He suggested to consider a few other models which he believed were better fit to our house.

He had some dirt and fur, which he rubbed into the carpet in store - it was looking just like our kids' room:) Then he cleaned it with different models of vacuums.

We ended up with Hoover Regal. It is really much better than what we had before.

I wish we went to that store before, not after we collected our money from insurance companby for lemon vacuum which is now in dumpster.

This store is my go to for cleaning products, A staff member by the name Avon has always assisted me well and has directed me to the correct products that solve multiple cleaning issues, and l have recommend Godfrey’s and Avon’s service with a smile to many others
