Go Ride A Wave Surfers Paradise

I had a great time at surfers paradise thanks to the instructors Taj and Bulv who made it quick and easy to catch some waves. Great value and lots of fun.

10AM, Saturday lesson,
Around 17 people including 5 children,
3 teachers taught people and guided each one, my daugther could also make standing up on the surf board at 1st try!
Teachers are very kind and supportive!
(The board was heavy and they kindly helped bringing it back!)

Great value for money, everything important is shown and explained very well. Already been to gorideawave in Torquay so no one else was an option. Trent and Jack were great To really do something, you just have to practice, practice, practice

Got a lesson from here when I was on a holiday, such a great experience and learnt so much more than I thought i would.incredible teaching and kind instructors!

2 kids (they’ve learned surfing in Japan) joined the lesson. Although sudden booking, they willingly accepted us.
All staff is kind & kids friendly especially Jack is our son’s teacher is excellent and our kids enjoyed their bottom of heart.
The place is also good for traveler stay surfers paradise.
Will strongly recommend here.

Had a blast! Blake took us out for a surfing lesson and couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. Will definitely be returning next time we find ourselves back in paradise

If you’re new to surfing, this is the place to be. I’m a lanky uncoordinated Canadian who had never touched a surfboard before but Taj and Blake got me surfing like a pro in under 2 hours. They were super friendly, kept everyone safe, and also offer great deals on equipment rentals. Great experience for all ages.

The instructor explained very clearly and easily, so even I, who was new to surfing, had a great time. It was comfortable to rent a wetsuit and there was a space to change clothes, and I was worried that the seawater would be cold because it was winter, but it wasn't cold at all. If you are worried about surfing for the first time, apply right away without worrying! Recommended

The instructor was very kind and willing to help us. I was scared because it was my first surfing, but it was really fun. Highly recommend this place to try surfing:)

First surfing in a few years and had a lot of fun! Felt like a great place for a relative beginner and our instructor Taj was knowledgeable and real helpful. Would recommend!

Had a surf lesson with Denis and Lauren in Surfers Paradise. Couldn't recommend them more. Both were amazing instructors, everything was very well explained and they were so patient. The whole lesson was so fun and well worth the money!

Had an awesome time there, our instructor Taj was very knowledgeable and helpful, I highly recommend this place for a really fun experience.

Taj was a great young instructor, he taught easy to learn steps to get me up surfing in no time! Fully recommend.

Taj was fabulous! My daughter had her 4th lesson and he was patient and helpful with correcting some of the things she was doing. Great Team and highly recommend Go Ride a Wave.

We had a group of 8 from ages 10 to 46. All second timers to surf (but with a different surfing school at Kings Cliff). We all had a great time. The instructor Blake was awesome. His instructions were clear and concise and the other instructors Xavier and Dennis were also lovely once we were in the water. They helped us all catch waves and were really encouraging. Very organised, friendly service. Highly recommend!

Had a beginners lesson on 29th Jan 2023, our instructors were Taj and Zander who were absolutely amazing. The lesson begins with a short briefing and then moves onto safety and laying on the board.you then go into the water and start.we then came back onto the beach and they taught us how to stand and ran through it with us several times, giving us tips on the stance We then got in the water for another hour and practiced. Both instructors were very patient and knew what they were doing. Felt safe and encouraged the whole time. Definitely worth the money and a try, you may not be perfect but its a great experience on the surfers paradise!

Was the BEST Experience, both my 9 & 10 yr old boys begged me to come again they were quite good surprisingly. They managed to get up 6-7 times in a row there’s towards the end. It was cute, watching them Hi-Five each other.

Your instructors were absolutely amazing. So generous With their time. 5 star service. Your 2 guys that were on today went above & beyond. Got great pics. One of the Best things we’ve done on holiday.

I highly recommend yous. Might even get amongst it myself too.

Our instructor was excellent, had a small class of only 6 and she really helped all of us.

We all managed to stand up and surf. They were very accommodating and provided us with wetsuits.

Overall best place to surf.

Also they got a cute dog:)
