It is a gym that I do not recommend.

I know that I expose myself to slander for a bad review, just read your unprofessional responses.

I just finished my subscription and clearly I am not satisfied with the service, much less with the contact with the staff. In recent weeks we have had warnings for leaving equipment unorganized (which was already out of place, and when I requested an image or video I had no response). During these months with my gym partner, in addition to our equipment, we used to organize equipment that other people they left out of place, but of course that is not recorded. There are constantly people who train barefoot, throw weights on the floor, there is loaded equipment and people who use more than one machine at a time, but the administration apparently doesn't see any of that, anyway, I decided to move because for that price you can be in better places with more modern machines and more organized places.good luck.

Been going here the past few months and I find this gym really clean, has all the equipment we need, space for stretching and a variety of group classes. The owner and his dog Stormy are there all the time to say hi, the staff and members there are all really friendly too.

Been going to this gym for a while now Friendly/easy to talk to staff always. So happy it’s now 24/7 & access/parking is easy, they also validate ur ticket when u need. Has all the equipment & a recovery/activity room & the place is always clean. The classes are all done in the other huge activity room & they’re amazing! The owner is super friendly & saying hi to Stormie () is always a plus. Trainers are friendly & the atmosphere/diversity of people that come to this gym is very welcoming. From a shy gym girl, I definitely recommend!

As a newish member of Globe Health Club I've found it to be a very good facility. It has all of the equipment I need to push hard and keep myself in shape. Being open 24/7 makes for great convenience but above all, the staff have been helpful and polite every time I've interacted with them. Keep up the great work!

My favorite gym! Amazing owner and fantastic, easy to use equipment. Love the recent upgrade of the boxing room!

A very nice gym with good facilities and the management is awesome.give it a trial today I promise u won’t regret it.great facility with all the equipment you could ever want. Free weights, machines and cardio. Visiting from out of town, not a problem. Highly recommended.

The gym centre is so large and accommodating, equipment are modern. Many Classes or sections to choose from. Inclusion of yoga is a great addition. Their staff are so professional and friendly, they can advise you on the best possible way to achieve your desired health and fitness targets. Highly recommend

I'm so happy with this gym! Always clean and with a good atmosphere. Very friendly and kind staff and they have a lovely dog! It was great for me because of it's location to be able to train before going to class! It's always open so there are no excuses to go!

Came in for a casual visit from melbourne as i noticed great reviews on social media and decided to do a session. Anytime im in Gold Caost I come here and workout its goreat everything I need and clean facility and freindly staff

In response to the owner barking at me and my mum.

Firstly I was told the owner would call me back within the hour yesterday to figure out some sort of a retribution for the continuous charging. I received no call from Tim.

Secondly there would be no issue if i was told cancellation must be done in writing. That would have saved us 2 years of being charged for i gym i dont go to.

Who i follow on instagram is not up for discussion but thanks for reminding me ill be sure to unfollow.

I signed a $10.95 contract if there is a price increase that is a change of terms and conditions which legally requires a new contract.

I never said we would remove our reviews. These charges have been made to my mums account, she has exercised her right to speak freely about her experience.

As for a “family owned gym” with “the best equipment available…in what universe is any of that true

Common sense would be for you to stop barking over the internet and see the situation from our side. We are also a family disturbed by an error on your gyms behalf, you have an opportunity to make this situation better or worse.

I cancelled my membership in person through Steph the manager. Unbeknownst to me i needed a written confirmation (this was not explained to me) 2 years later we find we have been continued to be charged, not to mention i signed a 10.95 pw contract and we were being charged 27.85 every fortnight.
Im still waiting to hear back from the owner about some sort of retribution or real explanation except sorry you dont qualify for a refund because you dont have anything in writing.
I will mention it is a key system at the gym so they would have seen i hadnt been active in 2 years, all the gyms i have worked at we call inactive members to check in. Here they just charge you and hope you wont notice.

Just started coming here very satisfied so far, clean gym and everything you need. Fair membership prices, just moved here from Canada and couldn't believe what some clubs wanted per month. 5 stars from me

My daughter came into the gym personally and spoke to the manager and cancelled her membership 2 years ago. No mention was made then that cancellation must be in writing. We just found out now that this requirement is there - but it buried inside the terms and conditions in tiny writing. And the T&Cs are not in a separate document. They are also buried inside the Direct Debit agreement they send you. I took screen shots - there no mention of this requirement on their web site either.
So we just found out they were still taking out the payments. When my daughter called and spoke to them today they are refusing to refund the unauthorised debits because there was no written proof the cancellation. They were also well aware she was a dormant member as it is an access key system so its all recorded. So beware!

Have been there for 1.5 years. Trainers/staff are helpful with an amazing attitude. Also the gym goers there are also nice, have been easy to ask how many sets they have, along with some helpful technical tips.:)
