Glass House Mountains Visitor and Interpretive Centre reviews
14Great views and short walk, cafe was busy on the weekend, but meals came out fairly quick.
Does the job. Gives you pamphlets for local experiences, helps with maps, and the staff are nice. Lacking in local history material, all I found was a printout of a Wikipedia page - may as well just put a QR code that links to the Wikipedia instead of wasting the paper.
Sharon is super nice and extremely competent. She explained everything we wanted to know calmly and in detail. Top!
As first time visitors into the area we stopped in the hope of gaining some hints for maximising our time.
We were more than an ably assisted by a South African gentleman, who's name we failed to get unfortunately.
All of his recommendations resulted in enriching our experience. The drive out to Montville after viewing the Glasshouse was a great way to cap the visit.
Much appreciated.
Visit here and learn all about the Glasshouse Mountains. Pick up a host of brochures about all the wonderful vacation experiences on the Sunshine Coast and beyond. The staff are extremely helpful.
The fantastic staff here were able to provide brochures and local knowledge of the area, which helped me plan my free days. Great location close to all the local hiking trails by car. Can recommend a visit to begin your Glass House adventures
Incredibly helpful and welcoming. Told us the best road to take for a scenic drive. Clearly passionate about what they do.
Very friendly, helpful men there, with great suggestions of walks to do and a cafe to go to. Lots of maps, brochures and local goodies.
Very steep walk to the top!
The view is lovely. If you decide to stay in the car park for the night (to do sunrise) be aware that people drive in and out all night long
Nice spot. I thought the visitor centre was interesting, but my travel companions were underwhelmed.
Friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to the volunteers for the great service.
What a jewel in the crown this is! Proud to take visitors to the area here. Glad I can buy items such as jam and chutney to showcase the area I am lucky enough to call home.
The guy working here was very knowledgeable and helpful telling us about all the mountain hikes on our day trip.
Good facility for tourist info, and very helpful volunteer staff! As at mid-June 2020, providing external counter service only, ie.visitors cannot enter building until current Covid restrictions are further eased.
