Gidgee's Bush Camp reviews
9Lovelly quite secure and safe park. Coffee Cafe on-site. Beautiful fire pits and wire artwork around the farm is amazing. Kyle is a very clever lady.
Gidgee bush Camp cafe is closed and instead they have opened this coffee van on the main strip of Morven. So convenient as you're passing through! Excellent coffee, nik naks for sale and a chatty, friendly barista. Who could ask for more
Great little out of the way place.goats, chickens and turkeys were great fun with the kids…
We arrived after dark and they were accommodating
It is a hidden gem. Friendly helpful staff. Great location in the middle of the bush. Fantastic sculptures around the park. Best firepits I've seen. Both powered and self sufficient sites.
Thanks for a great stopover. What a lovely ŕest stop. Grass patch was kind to my back. I slept great. Cool rain was nice too. Perfect facilities for our cook up too. See you again sometime.
Great place to stay. Quiet and good facilities. The hosts were great and friendly. Even though they were busy they stopped by to say hello. Lots of interesting sculptures around the camp grounds. The kitchen facilities were good and there are flushing toilets and pay showers. It is dog friendly and there are fire pits.
Nice spot. Great artworks. Toilets are very basic, but clean.
Water is precious so shower paid timer.
Camp kitchen has sink and fridge and wood stove.
Camp-fire at night.
No frills camping, but cheap. Coffee shop and gifts (hand made on site).
ADD ON.the new showers were in progress when we were there. We would recommend it!
Gidgees is great. Nice green area to camp with a shed for cooking and lazing. Basic toilets but all neat and clean. Looks new over the last year. Kylie and Mick were great hosts and real characters who know more about Movern and the local community than anyone we met. The coffee shop is worth visiting when it is open decorated with Gidgees bush art made from old farm equipment and various old artifacts from here grand fathers shed. A great insight into Queenslands small country town history and why they love being Queenslanders! Well worth visiting 2 minutes off the road at the back of town.
