Giant Chemist Pacific Fair

They used to have an awesome supplement and sports nutrition section. Such a shame they did away with it in favour of ASN and their overpriced, underdosed garbage and a salesperson posing as a nutritionist to push you towards their brands.

There are good stuff but terrible service, staff are not friendly at all. Rude people.unfortunately who worked in a health shop.

As someone else has remarked, the shop looks like a discount outlet from the outside, but don't be fooled; they stock an amazing array of health products inside. I don't know the gentleman's name who assisted me purchasing whey protein yesterday on Sunday 8/14 (sorry), but he was SO helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He wasn't at all pushy and actually seemed genuinely interested to share his considerable knowledge and give me advice. Meeting a professional member of staff who actually knows what they are talking about is a real treat, and oh so rare. Would definitely recommend this shop, and the prices are very competitive too.

I would like to say what a remarkable lady Leanne Eagen is, she was extremely helpful and followed through on finding information on a L’Oréal product and rang me to bring me up to date on this product, an employee like Leanne makes shopping at Big Chemist a beautiful experience, Thanks heaps Leanne

Only one good doctor in the their. The receptionist are beyond rude, I have never had 1 good experience with the staff working on the phones or behind the reception, they display no matters, consideration and/ or responsibility for the customers

Doesn't look like much from outside, like a two dollar chemist, but inside has sooo much good stuff. All the brands I love like Alaffia and Tinderbox and Byron Bay muesli. Lots of vitamins. I spent $400 the first time and $130 today.

Big shout out to Zoe who found us the exact product we were looking for from my very very vague description. So helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Very impressed. Above and beyond!

All the staff are friendly and professional. They helped me out and gave me a great service. Highly recommended.

I wanted Kelvin Klein perfume and showed him the photo of that perfume, but they gave me the wrong perfume, and when I got home, I opened it and realized that they had made a mistake, and I immediately went to the Giant chemist and they told me that it was open and they could not change it, They wasted my money.

Great chemists, very helpful and friendly staff. Even bought delicious meals, spices, eggs, pasta and sauce and so much more - great one stop shop

Visited today to fill a prescription and the gentleman who served me was very kind and helpful in explaining how my new concession card worked. I needed my medication ASAP and he was able to split a 3 pack for me so I could get the singular one I had left on my script. My prescription is also a fairly pricey one but it was significantly cheaper here than anywhere else I’ve been to which as a broke uni student is helpful. Will definitely be coming back in future.

So this place prides itself of "outlet" prices in a premium shopping destination. I had a look at some of their whole foods online and found that i could get the same product online for half the price - I really wanted to point this out to one of the workers suggesting a price match - but they did not seem interested at all - just in letting me know that a price match was absolutely not possible.

Dude i saw you guys selling black rice for around 9 dollars, and i saw the same product online for 4.79. Same amount, same product - half the price.

"Outlet" prices.pfft. Also if you know you work in such a store you dont have act so condescending when someone asks you for a price match jeezus christ!

Service is friendly and Professional, love the organic food and advice.
This is where I do 80% of my shopping.

I’ve had a cough for about 4 weeks, went to see the pharmacist John Kinchin, at Giant Chemist and not only did he ask many questions on the type of cough, so he could recommend the best cough mixture, but he also suggested that their in house naturopath could also give me excellent advice. I took all the advice, and the medication and for the first time in a month have had a decent nights Sleep! These people actually care. They are fabulous. Thank goodness to know that we still have pharmacists who care and recommend the best remedies for you! I’ll always go to giant chemist Pacific Fair when I need help.

I was very happy with the service that we received on the weekend, the staff went out of their way to provide quality service and made my visit to the makeup section effortless. (Dad of 3 daughters has its challenges)

Quiet literally the WORST service received from their pharmacist. Absolutely shocking. Was a regular here and I will never step foot in that place again. I was hung up on after giving me next to no advice.
