3Went in and bought two dresses of different sizes as I was in a rush and asked the lady if I could take home try on and return if they didn’t fit properly. She said yes I can return and refund as long as it was in 21 days. I’ve just gone into the store now to return as the dresses both didn’t fit me right and was met by the rudest employees who now said I could not return them and accused me of lying about the initial employee that did state that I could. Completely unacceptable and if employees give out wrong information that should not fall on customers to pay the price. Will not be shopping here again!
The returns policy here is a joke! Bought things for my son couldn’t fit them and was In between sizes so couldn’t really fit any of the sizes to exchange so I asked for a refund, not knowing there is no refunds at all given to customers which is wild? In this day and age. The lady that served me was absolutely snarky about it aswell so I definitely won’t be shopping here again which is a shame.
They don’t give refunds (only store credit) for change of mind, even if tags are on and receipt is given. I understand they’re not obligated to (ACCC and all that), but it’s a bit sneaky move and a middle finger to the customer to only show your return policy on your receipt, which is AFTER you buy the item.
In todays age, it’s pretty normal to give refunds for change of mind. Ghanda is being the exception.
As a side note, their shirt disappointingly washed out colour FAST (3 washes) even on cold wash. For their fairly high price, I expected quality. If I’m completely honest, I rate my target shirts as higher quality than what I got at Ghanda.
All-round, highly disappointed with my experience at Ghanda. After discussing with friends, this has been a common upsetting experience.
