GEORGES GRILL Seafood & Burgers

Normally love Georges, we've been coming for many years.

However tonight the food was so salty I had to remove the crumb so we could eat it as a family. So disappointing, we drove an hour for the experience.

Service was another issue but girls were trainees and can forgive that.

I was disappointed with the batter on the fish. And the fish was dry. The batter needs to be more bubbly and crunchy. And the fish not dry.

Excellent fresh yummy seafood. Salads and burgers are also great. There's indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are friendly and helpful.

This may have been the best seafood platter I have ever had! Visiting from California USA. So glad I stopped here before I go home.

I waited so long to be able to get to George's and I wasn't disappointed. This bloke cares about his customers experience, his food is presented so well and has a friendly personality to top it all off. Keep up the good work George's.

It happens few month ago.
I ordered prawn cutlet here for dine in with other foods. Prawn cutlet was off I can smell a strong ammonia on first bite and tried next one it had same smell like off fish. I wanted to check by shef he said its completely fine and fresh, nothing smell like ammonia. I wanted cook another batch but he refused and offered refund.
Anyway I was waiting for refund in front of counter but staff and chef was totally ignored me for while so I came back to my table eat rest of it. About 10-15min later staff came to me and gave me cash.
It was very disapponted situation. I have been this place for multiple times and enjoyed it. Its not about the bad seafood I served, maybe it was only two bad prawns of 6 of them. Who knows. I was expected apology and recook like any other restaurant instead of treating me as a black consumer. Seafood can be bad sometimes and I understand. But please do right action for this kind of situatation for other customers. Thank you.

Great food. Always cooked perfectly. Good deals. George is a good guy that’ll always have a chat too. Just order and take a seat. They table serve. And thanks for offering decent napkins.

The best fish and chips around! We made a booking for 15 the weekend just gone. We had asked if we could pre order the night before. As soon as we sat down our meals were coming out with in a couple minutes. Great service! Great staff and great food! No complainants everything was perfect.

Food is ok.
Biggest problem here is service I think the staff need a lot of training as my order is consistently mixed up wrong or missing things. Only seems to be 1 or 2 staff that know what they're doing.

Unfortunately I feel that the quality of the food is slipping. Perhaps there are some supply issues. The staff and atmosphere are as great as ever however.

The fish and chips were great as we're the salad and potato scallops. The baklava was a bit too soggy though. Overall enjoyed the food and the service was excellent.

We've lived in the area (Corunbia and now Tanah Merah) for over 12 years. First time going to George's last week. OMG such tasty burger and fries plus a Jimmy to wash it down. Generous servings too. Both of our meals were so yummy. We'll definitely go there again.

We only tried the burger and fries this time.next time we'll try the seafood.

Georges Grill is my favourite place to get a steak burger, I've had the Big Boss Steak Burger at least once a month for the last 8 months and never been disappointed. Friendly service and delicious food that is reasonably priced, a winning combination.

I used to work for George maybe 23 yrs ago his food is as good now as it was all those years ago.

I’ve come out of the states for vacation, and dined at both Doyle’s in Sydney and at George’s Grill, and I have to say that I would eat at George’s over Doyle’s anytime.

George’s was great on Xmas eve. Well done all for working so hard when you were running out of supplies and still had smiles on your faces. Food was great and service was great. Merry Christmas.

Have been a positive customer of Georges many times. However, Christmas Eve we placed an order via their Order247 to pickup at 7.30pm. When we arrived we were told the online ordering wasn't working & our order wasn't received. I asked if they could please cook something for us while we waited. Was told "no we couldn't sorry". Money already taken from account for online order, no food, not much else open, sad Christmas Eve.

Always great food and Friendly service.
You won't regret trying George's.

Love love love Georges! The food is so good! We have it regularly. It's affordable, filling and yummy. There is no seafood shop that comes even remotely close. The salads are so yummy! I crave them. Truly the BEST!
