Having a great experience at Genesis Health and Fitness Thuringowa! My wife and I have recently started at the New location at Cannon Park, Townsville and found the environment relaxing, equipment very functional and staff very friendly Thank you Genesis Thuringowa

My partner and I both use genesis on a fitness partner and really enjoy the gym facilities and the staff are always extremely welcoming and kind. The Gym facilities are always kept clean and hygienic and in good safe order.

Great Gym. My old gym moved and I wasn’t keen on starting at a new gym at all. Went and spoke to the team at Genisis Thuringowa, they set me up with a free 7 day trial so I could see if I liked the place before committing. Great gym, always clean, staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and all the members have been great as well. Really happy with the change, and enjoying the facility.

Over a month and still no mention as to when water bubblers will be installed. It’s ridiculous. Why does management have to be so cheap when they could have simply moved the old dispensers and a paid a plumber to instal them.
Edit: I’m so sick of genesis management at this point. I’m just gonna move to planet fitness the day they open. It’s cheaper and provides twice the amount of facilities genesis does

There are no bubblers due to the pandamic.so glad genesis is putting our health first! The overly friendly staff fill my water bottle up for me. I love the new gym considering it is still settling into their new home. Stop taking the fact that there isn't a bubbler to heart.anyone with a brain would ask the staff to fill it up for them.peace out #gettingfitwiththebest

Weeks without a lat pull down machine and still no water bubbler after over a month of the new gym being active.

The gym is consistently a mess and left uncleaned by staff. I pick up rubbish all the time during my session. I chose to leave the oaks bottle featured in one of my photos after spotting it two weeks ago to see how long it would take to be picked up and it has been left untouched. I’m not impressed. Am genuinely considering moving to worlds after recommending the old genesis to quite a few people. Sort it out genesis or we will move.
Update: Another poor example of lazy management. The equipment shown in the pictures I have uploaded has been out of order for well over a week and half now and staff work 5 days a week. Go figure

Why are there not any water bubblers
I realise halfway through my workout and it got me really worked up that I had to drink warm shower water because I couldn’t find anywhere to fill up my water bottle

Liked the feel of Townsville Genesis gym, everything you need for a good hit out. Plenty of classes for those that love them. I understand they are making a move to new premises and I am sure it will be fantastic. Special mention to Veejay on the front desk, thanks for being cool!

Friendly and welcoming staff, great classes, great creche! Highly recommend this gym. They have made it really easy and enjoyable to get back into exercise!

I love this Gym, and Im the type that can get turned off pretty quickly.
I love the staff, they're very friendly and knowledgable.
It's been many years since i've been to the gym due to working commitments and family life. So joining again was a little daunting for me. New machines that I haven't used before were intimidating, but the staff helped build my confidence in how to use them and not injure my self in the process. I love the separate woman's section, they're days where i want to do squats and showing my cheeks:) is uncomfortable in the opens sections so the women's section is perfect. Lots of variety, lots of machines so there is always machines available, there is classes as well. The creche is great, my little girl loves going there. There's showers, Toilets, and a selfie mirror for your progress with privacy. I highly recommend this Gym. Ive been going for 6 months so that says something. Looking forward to my next session.

A review what is a review it is one prisons experience with some thing or someone or a business in this case a business GENESIS JIM WILLOWS I had been with the Willows Jim for some six (6) years I seen a lot of staff and members come and go but my overall experience was positive yes there were times some of the equipment was broken some times for a wile overall was in good shape some of it ageing but still working as was intended I found there was plenty of machines well-spaced so as not to crowd out the next one plenty of weights but I think what made this Jim for me was the staff always friendly and helpful if not under exercise instruction and you asked a question or how to use a piece of equipment no problem for them so I don’t think it comes any better but I will see as I had to move along so an other chapter of my journey through life begins

Great gym with a welcoming atmosphere. Staff are very friendly. Love the group fitness classes, so much fun and easy to book through the app.

Myself and my daughter who has a disability have been welcomed with opened arms and a lot of support. Having the exercise Phys on site as well means I can exercise while my daughter is supported by the exercise phys. Highly recommend this gym and its staff to all the special needs community and everyone
