Nice staff. Patrons are polite and serious about bettering their lives. Its never been so busy that i couldnt do my workout in the exact order i wanted to.

The crèche was terrible! The lights stay dim, the toys up high on the shelf and the kids are all sat in front of the tv. I was under the impression that the tv would be used for the odd G rated movie and we stated that we didn’t want our children to watch much tv. The shows were not pre approved the kids were watching everything from random cartoons to YouTube videos of other kids playing with toys. Everytime I dropped my kids off I took some trucks off the high shelf for them and everytime I picked them up they were put back up high, no toys were out, room was dark and all the kids are watching tv for 1-2hrs straight. I could’ve just turned on the tv and worked out at home. What really ruined it for us was my child was coming home scared after things he watched the worst being buzz light year which is PG rated and not recommended for under 7yr olds let alone a 1 and 2yr old! There’s violence and death and he couldn’t sleep for a week.

Great big gym and friendly staff. Could do with a few more bits of equipment but that’s always the case no matter where you go! Love the place.

Friendly environment, good classes, equipment is clean and in good condition. Great gym.

What lets me down is that they feel like a telemarketing company.
Constantly calling, month before membership expires, week before, day before, on the day! They hound you afterwards for ages!

Send an online enquiry and you will be hounded, answer and show interest they will double effort.
Messages and emails!
Put me off and I have new contacts to add to my spam list.

If the customer doesn't answer then it's time for an email and then LEAVE THEM ALONE.

Nice gym, although some of the equipment needs some maintenance or replacing.it's still a great place to work out. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere.

Genesis at Lawnton is so spacious with fantastic facilities. I love how the classes are upstairs with a body and mind room separated away from all the weights downstairs. There's a very warm and friendly vibe the second you walk into the gym. Staff here are super helpful and friendly. I can't fault it.

Great gym, good atmosphere, clean, plenty of space spread over two floors & friendly staff. Certainly, different to any other gyms in the area

Amazing kids club with a big play ground and lovely staff. Kids always ask if we can go to gym.
Great variety and space. Really great instructors for the classes and amazing pts. Sammy is awesome and can't wait for my next session.

Update: in close to a year attending I've never once seen staff requesting people use a towel, yet many patrons do not. Signs are not enough when much of your patronage don't care. I've witnessed this lead to a few awkward scenarios when people are using multiple machines without towels an dsomeone assumes a machine is free and sits on it. Had it happen to me too.

Quite a good gym, but their constant advertising means they are a very, very busy place and it can be quite hard to get equipment. Only 2 bench press racks. Dual cable standalone machine has been out of service for more than 2 months, and there's only one of that type of machine.

Has a very good rack area for squats, a couple of power lifting mats that see a lot of use, treadmills and bikes are separated from the weights floor, and there are two mezzanine areas that are less busy than the main floor but also have less equipment.

Decent gym, wish they would quit trying to ever increase members as the busy times are already very busy, last for quite a few hours, and that can make getting access to equipment you want difficult.

Great place. Friendly staff and people, even let kids of the ages of about 12 I think in with supervision and have a kindy for younger children. The only thing I would ask as is for chalk for any bars. I would also like if they had a pull up bar I did not see one of these but I may be mistaken

From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome. From the efficient processing of paperwork to the full tour of the gym, and the offers of assistance at any point. The range of equipment is phenomenal, and the tv's in front of the cardio equipment make for a less onerous workout on the treadmill, bike or elliptical (or stairmaster!) Love that you can do your own workout, at your own pace, with state of the art equipment. Thanks guys - glad to be part of the Genesis family!

I Joined the gym 4 weeks ago, I have found they are really helpfull and I absolutely love there classes.

Great gym, staff are very friendly, patrons at the gym aren't intimidating and is actually very mixed unlike many other gyms. Will be sticking with this gym for a while.

I recommend Genesis - the equipment is great and the team friendly and supportive. My PT Jodie is fantastic.

Probably one of the best gyms I've been a member of, access to a large gym with vast range of machine weights and free weights, PT's, great classes (for those who like that staff), great boxing space. Change room, Wet room and Sauna to complete the workout!
