Nice and quiet little gym for all your workout needs without the ear punishing music of other gyms.

I have been to lots of gyms in Cairns over the years. So far Southside Genesis tops my list. Its spacious and lots of kit so us serious gym junkies can get stuck in. I notice a big mix of ages, fitness levels etc so all seem comfortable there. A+ super clean and the staff are helpful and friendly.

Good gym, lots of space and not too busy during the day time. Good covid practices and compliant gym goers respecting these requirements. Just some of the equipment is looking a bit tired and could do with a few items being updated

I have been a member of Genesis since 1998, and I have watched it grow from small to huge. I have had a knee injury and of course Covid happened so I have not been going for three years. I now have started to train again and was very nervous to go, but the gym is still the same even though there has been changes for covid, I had nothing to worry about. It is inclusive no matter what age, size or culture everyone is welcome and that's what I love about Genesis. I don't feel out of place, and if I need help of any kind all I have to do is ask, email or call I feel very supported in my fitness journey.

Staff are friendly and easy to approach, gym is very clean. Not judged by body shape/fitness or ability as other gyms tend to do. Would recommend these guys to anyone!

Genesis have nice and welcoming staff who have been there to support in fitness and in health. There is a variety of equipment to use, that is always clean and tidy.

The Staff are friendly and approachable, gym is very clean, the equipment is up to date. Quiet and private. 24 hour access is great. I Would recommend this Gym to anyone!

I joined in October 2020 initially to do a 6 week challenge. During the challenge I got to experience the magnificent staff and coaches.
As I have a significate shoulder injury, I have given the coaches a challenge to give me exercises that don't exacerbate my condition, and I'm very pleased to say they met the challenge. I've now completed 2 six week challenges and am excited to be also doing the 3rd one coming up in May.
I recommend South Cairns Gym, they are an amazing group of people.

Beau and the PT Bailey have been excellent and friendly in all the help I have recieved. The gyms setup and equipment is superb and the cleanliness of the facility is fantastic!

I haven’t been to the gym in a few years but the two Bailey’s who helped me sign up and get a PT session scheduled were so helpful and understanding that I feel super excited for my first session at 5am tomorrow before work. They really took the time to understand my goals and got to know what I wanted from my membership.

Really good staff and great facilities with a wide range of equipment. Would definitely recommend to anyone

Highly recommend the My Zone training at Genesis Southside. I was nervous about starting the classes and my ability to keep up but the coaches Kelly & Lachlan have been fantastic, they are so helpful and encouraging that I'm really enjoying the classes.

Since I've joined coaching zone I've lost weight and became more energetic. The coaches are SENSATIONAL- so friendly and supportive that I've recommended that my friends to join! Best money I've ever spent

Great facilities, location is perfect for many southsiders like me, and my personal trainer has been amazing!

Great environment and music. Its an awesome place to workout and get fit.

I enjoy going to Genesis every morning. The coaches are great. Friendly staff at the front door and the classes are excellent.

Each and every person I’ve dealt with that are in charge of Southside have made me feel extremely comfortable,

being as I walk in or on the way out and end up staying for a 15 minute chat.

We started with a 21 day free trial, and then we were hooked. The whole family have been welcomed by the friendly staff. Coaching Zone is fantastic, the coaches are great and we are looking forward to the 6 week challenge.

Staff are very polite and helpful, really helpful to set up goals to ur personal goal. Felt very welcome and wanted unlike some gyms that just want your money and dont want to help u. Highly recommend
