Love the shop! The customer service was amazing, and the owner is extremely helpful and friendly every time I visit, and the decor inside is just beautiful. I have purchased so many gifts for people in here that it is hard to tell what I haven’t bought, everything is just too good. If you are ever in Townsville, this is a must-do hidden gem that is definitely worth a visit!

I ordered a bird feeder and it was promptly dispatched and although it was packed well it arrived broken, even with "Fragile" tape all over it I believe it had been thrown around in the mail, but after calling Gecko, Lucy had no issue with re sending the item, this time it would have taken Goliath to break the feeder, I was so pleased with the service, can't praise them enough for the customer care.

Great customer service and they wrap in a flash. I love Gecko, the shop is full of fabulous gift ideas, big and small. Plus they're local and independent. I'm particularly keen on the bold and beautiful tablecloths (I have a collection). They're amazing, they seem to be self-cleaning, magic!

We’ve been back a second time because what we bought on the first visit looked so good in our home on Maggie Island. She has some unique and eclectic items you won’t find anywhere else.

I had such a great time at Gecko! Lucy, the owner, and Bronte, her assistant, are absolutely fantastic. Such wonderful people to talk with. I live in Southern Queensland and when I went to buy these amazing artistic posters they offered to have them mailed to me! I definately recommend this store for anyone visiting or living in the Townsville area. It's a one of a kind, locally inspired design store with tons of great art and home items available. I'll be back there the next time I'm in Townsville

Geckos is our "go to" shop for gifts and presents. Whether it be for friends, teachers or children, we always leave with something fabulous, that is wrapped beautifully. The shop owner is always so helpful and fun, offering advice and ideas. My children love the shop so much that I have trouble getting them to leave!

I loved an item in the store but live remotely in Western Australia and she went above and beyond to ensure I got what I wanted. Again thank you.
