Gaven Early Learning Child Care Centre

Educators in the rooms are great - it's unfortunate that Management is the reason we decided to leave. Our accounts and statements did not match up, we were continuously overcharged and after multiple emails and queries in person being ignored and brushed off as "we'll fix it up for you", we finally discovered that what was being claimed from Centrelink and also charged to us was not only incorrect but illegal. It took me 7 WEEKS (including 10 emails and 3 phone calls) to finally get our statement to the correct amount.
Since this, i have now found out this has happened and is happening to multiple families here. Triple check all your statements, bank accounts and CCS if you attend here!
The way the manager Karen speaks to her staff is also disgusting. Have witnessed many times her bullying the staff to the point they are in tears. Definitely not someone you'd want in charge of the place your children attend!

Gaven Early Learning Centre is a wonderful place!

My son has been there for 6months and the improvement he has made is unbelievable.the staff is so nice and have helped my son gain some much.

I actually attended this kindergarten 9 years ago, but came back for after school care once I got into year 2, I didn’t like going there, the food tasted like it had been sitting there for ages, the teachers there don’t care about anything, they’re mostly 17 year old girls trying to get a degree so they can finally leave the place, my little sister went there for after school care around 2 years ago and we never returned, one of the children smacked my sister in the head with a baby doll and threw a toy tractor at her, I also had an incident where I was around 6, or 7 and I had a sand pit toy thrown at my shin, by an older kid I think they were maybe 10 or 11, the teachers had no care and I had been sitting there crying for the rest of the afternoon until I got picked up, after that day I was taken out and put into a new after school care and stayed there until i got old enough to get my own way home in the after noons and stay home in the holidays etc.

My wife and I have had our children in this daycare for 4/5 years and our kids love it here. The educators are great and always kind.

My family have been using this centre since 2015! We have absolutely adored the staff and facilities there. I have loved watching the educators interact with my boys in such a loving and caring way! The resources and activities are also always very engaging and stimulating for the kids.

My kids just started here and I cannot say a bad word about the place very friendly and welcoming clean place my kids absolutely love going to day care I rate this place so much

Highly Recommended The Staff Is Absolutely Amazing And I've Never Been So Delighted To Have Such Wonderful And Amazing Teachers To Care For My Daughter Whilst She's At Daycare Every Day Is A Joy To See How Happy She Is When She Comes Home From Day One My Daughter Has Enjoyed Her Time At Gaven Thank You To All The Beautiful Staff At Gaven By Far The Best Child Care Centre.

Have sent all 3 of my children they and they love it. We love that they offer swimming lessons right next door. And the curiosity bus really helps us out.

All my 3 little ones have been attending Gaven Early Learning Centre and it feels like the staff are part of our family. They are supportive in learning and provide fun activities throughout the year. Safe and caring environment, couldn't' recommend more.

Gaven ELC is the best centre in the area. My daughter has attended here since the baby room, right up to senior kindy and we've had only the most positive experience. The centre is warm and inviting, the director is wonderful and very accommodating to specific needs, the educators are great and knowledgeable and have let my child grow and learn in a safe happy environment. I recommend Gaven ELC to anyone looking for the best childcare making the transition easy.

After many bad child care centre experiences for my son, Gavin Early Learning is our pick. My 3 year old has settled so well and each and everyday he goes he adores his day and experiences. Within the first 3 days of him first attending we already seen a change in his personality and learning, he came home each day with someone new that he had learned from songs to counting to letters and spelling his name. I found most centre’s he was attending focuses more on toys and playing rather then learning, but Gavin Early Learning has shown me they are definitely focusing the kids on learning more. So proud of him and so proud of the centre for teaching him. It has such a home feel and all the educators are so lovely can’t wait for many more years with Gaven Early Learning Centre

I've got a very positive experience with the Gaven Early Learning Centre and would like to share it with other parents. The staff is great and we haven't had any problems so far.

This centre has the most positive and supportive staff I've ever met. My daughters love it and they always speak with enthusiasm about their time spent there.

This centre always lack of supervision, heaps of freeplay and kids often come home with accident. Thank God so far not major, but almost. One older kid poked my little one eye, lucky did not get onto the eye ball. Pretty slack with kids, not happy. They mix kids up which i believe it should not be, bigger kids attack little ones etc. And not friendly director, will take revenge on you personally if you say somerhing about the centre.

Gaven Early Learning Centre is absolutely wonderful - we would recommend this centre to anyone! The teachers are warm and kind and provide interesting learning experiences throughout the day. They are led by a wonderful director who always has the time to help parents in any way.
