We used Gateway to India for first time last night. Wonderful food. Loved it. We Wii be back

Good food. Most of our dishes were good, only the goat curry was a bit disappointing. Lassi Mangoe was very nice.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gateway to India restaurant, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The owner Justin went above and beyond to ensure that my visit was exceptional, even providing a complimentary serving of their renowned butter chicken to help me discern the difference between it and the chicken tikka masala. The staff, without a doubt, deserve special recognition for their warm and accommodating demeanor.

From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted with genuine smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff's friendliness immediately made us feel at ease and set the tone for the rest of the evening. Throughout the evening, they were attentive to our needs, promptly addressing any requests or inquiries we had. It was clear that the staff genuinely cared about making our dining experience enjoyable.

Now, let's talk about the food. The moment the butter chicken made its way to our table, the aroma alone was enough to whet our appetites. The dish was beautifully presented, and the taste was heavenly. The succulent chicken, perfectly cooked in a luscious buttery sauce, was an explosion of flavors. Very unprofessional service ruined our friend's wedding completely. The air conditioning was absolutely terrible, and they didn't even set up cutlery on the tables. We had to constantly chase after the kitchen staff for glasses. The floors were sticky, creating a very poor atmosphere. The unprofessional service not only ruined the wedding but also left the bride feeling traumatized and stressed. It's truly disheartening when such an important day is marred by such negative experiences. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that completely ruined the wedding.

My wedding ruined by the most unprofessional, incompetant, uncommunicative staff here! Justin and team made our special day a disaster. It was meant to be a beautiful memory but Justin ended up making it a horror movie. I was extremely disappointed and utterly disgusted with the way my wedding was organized under Justin's supervision. Justin's lack of communication and constant lies throughout the wedding planning process was highly stressful and unacceptable. Despite assuring us that everything would be done perfectly, he failed to deliver on every level. The room was not only dirty, but also had cheap and mismatched decor that looked nothing like I had requested. The non-air conditioned space and last-minute delays added to the chaos and frustration. It was a complete disaster and I am beyond disappointed. It is truly appalling that there was a complete lack of communication throughout the entire process. Justin's team's dishonesty and failure to provide updates or address my concerns have left me feeling betrayed and deceived.
It was a huge disappointment for myself and my guests. I am so ashamed that I chose this place which proved to be our worst decision. It is truly appalling that despite numerous attempts to contact Justin, he conveniently ignored all my calls, leaving me feeling completely abandoned and helpless. The setup you provided was beyond revolting and completely unrecognizable from what I had specifically requested. Adding insult to injury, the air conditioning was not functioning, causing my guests to suffer in the unbearable heat. Their complaints were incessant and rightfully so, as their discomfort was a direct result of your negligence. A staff member told us, “The AC here doesn't work. Maintenance has to be done. ”
I was assured that the room would be ready 24 hours before. On the contrary, when my uncle went at 2pm on the wedding day to check, nothing had been done and it was like a store room with furniture stacked up and no sign of the promised decor. He tried asking the staff but they were not sure. When I arrrived at the venue, along with guests and photographer, It was a nauseating sight that made me question your competence and professionalism. The floors were not only wet and sticky but also infested with dirt, creating an environment that was nothing short of repulsive. I was also made to wait in their office while they quickly arranged their cheap decor.

There is no excuse for the crushed curtains, cheap multicolored flowers, dirt and non-ac, and to have kept me and my guests waiting until the last minute. I will file a formal complaint against your establishment for the emotional distress and utter devastation you have caused on what was supposed to be the happiest day of my life.
The sheer negligence and mismanagement by Justin and his team traumatised and stressed me to the point of tears and nearly having a mental breakdown. They absolutely ruined my day and my memories are crushed forever. My advice to everyone- STAY AWAY FROM THEM OR RISK HAVING YOUR EVENT RUINED BY THESE SCAMMERS.

My wife and I love visiting this restaurant whenever we are in the area. The food is delicious, reasonably priced, the staff are all friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Definitely worth a visit.

Ordered take out from here for the first time last night. From start to finish the service was absolutely amazing. The gentleman who took my order over and gave me the food was very friendly, polite and helpful. As I was not there for long it appeared to be a very clean and presentable restaurant. I could partially see through the kitchen door where the kitchen looked very clean as well. 10 out of 10 I highly recommend this place. Especially when you're supporting a business that appears to be so respectful to others.

Amazing staff! So kind to have helped me and my cousin staying at the Springwood tower’s apartment with food after their kitchen hours. Was an amazing gesture of kindness and the food was amazing, we had a beautiful butter chicken curry and some special filled naan. 5 stars to both the the service an food.

Such an awesome resturant. I have only had good experiences there. Their food is spectacular, staff are excellent, and location is easy to find. Honestly amazing.

We recently celebrated a 75th birthday party here. Justin and Arpan were amazing. They looked after all the planning and took care of every detail making the event a success. The food was amazing too and everything was on schedule - entrees, dinner and desert were served on time.
Very professional and easy to work with. Have no hesitation recommending them to others.

We've been going to this place for years and have loved it! This has been our go to family restaurant for over 5 years. We often went every week. We always order the same dishes (the staff remember our order), and its always come to the exact same price of $79. However when we went last night, it cost $128 for the same dishes. I know it's tough for business right now, and a price increase is understandable, but a 60% increase in prices is just too much. Disappointed to say we won't be back. It's the end of an era.

They ruined my brother-in-law’s kids party by double booking, not once but twice. We were so excited to attend but at last moment he has to change the venue and told us about the manager, how rude and arrogant he was and was not even apologetic. I would give 1 star for that kind of manager and behaviour. Guys either change the manager or get him some behaviour classes to avoid disappointment and harassment for the family organising the party.

We eat here regularly and have always had a great meal. Prices are reasonable and the flavours and tenderness of the food is amazing. Also the service is always great.
