My favourite experiences in dining are always those that leave me feeling as though I have been shown what it looks like to see masters at work.
My wife (vegan) and I chose Garden Kitchen & Bar, due to the lovely atmosphere, and we were impressed with every stage of our evening. I was made a bespoke Mocktail that came out beautifully, as my wife enjoyed her own while we were shown to our table. The service was absolutely outstanding with Michael, who not only catered to our personal idiosyncratic dining preferences and dietary requirements, but made perfect suggestions for both of us.
We enjoyed every bite at every stage of our evening, to such an extent that I felt compelled to send my compliments to chef Movin, who was kind enough to come out and acknowledge my feedback.
I was served an exceptional Wagyu beef pasta dish, which was the epitome of complex variety, with herbal notes featuring high points of gorgeous tang, and strong moments of peppered sharpness, complementing the unctuous textures and smooth umami undertones of the foundation flavours.
It was undoubtedly the best beef meal I have experienced in at least a decade. We will fly back to the Gold Coast again soon, and we WILL be back as soon as we do.

Gold Coast Garden Kitchen & Bar left me speechless! The Juicy Eye Ribs were a revelation, tender and bursting with flavor. Michael's service was impeccable; he made us feel like VIPs throughout. The ambiance was charming, adding to the overall experience. Highly recommend!
