Game Over GC

We've been going to Game Over for quite a few years now, it's my son's favourite activity to do on his birthday (Xmas Eve) each year and for the last two years my husband and son have had a membership which gives you half price races and other exciting discounts (check it out on the website!). They always have a load of fun seeing who can beat who (you are given a printout of your race results at the end of each race). I must say a HUGE THANK YOU to Jeremy at Game Over, he went above and beyond to help us reschedule our booked races due to the terrible storms we had recently that shut the track down due to a power outage! If you want to treat the kids (and the big kids too) to an exciting activity rain or shine (it's an airconditioned indoor track) then this is the place to go! There are heaps of other activities too: laser tag, clip n climb, meathook ride, arcade games and even a mini golf course.something for everyone! It's a very popular place (especially in the school holidays) so it's a good idea to make a booking online to make sure you don't miss out. We would highly recommend a day out at GAME OVER in Helensvale on the Gold Coast! Vroom Vroom!

Great place to take the big kids and small kids! Range of activities to do. Thought the go karting was a bit overpriced for the 10 laps and size of the course.

Laser tag was good fun, 10 minutes fly by so 2 consecutive sessions is recommended. Our group was larger and all came away got, sweaty and happy!
Staff were calm and patient, ensuring all our pretty would have a fun experience.

Is a great venue, lots to do, staff were very friendly and helpful….
But, it is expensive for a fun afternoon

Great day of fun for both the kids and big kids (adults) staff friendly they could see my ASD daughter was upset and went out of there way to ask if she was ok! Wish we had a game over in Sydney

We loved this place!
We did the karts, climb and laser package for my Son’s 13th birthday and everyone had a huge and adventurous day.

Go Karts and track are good for newbies (me).
They are pretty fast and the track isn’t too punishing. A lot of effort has gone into the laser tag room. Good equipment.
Didn’t play mini golf.
The rock climbing has a range of difficulty. Some walls that first timers will be able to solve, all the way up to seemingly impossible walls.
Located near a few fast food restaurants.

Made online bookings for my son turning 9 very friendly staff and amazing time. They even let me bring cake and cupcakes which they stored for us until we needed. Highly recommend.

Fantastic staff members. Great customer service. We'll organised with the activities. Kids loved there time there. Only one issue the toilets where blocked, reported and staff where quick to get issue fixed.

Had a nice time, however it's a real shame that you're not allowed to drive at the same time as your child being in a separate car if they are under 150cm - regardless of their age (she's 145cm approx). I understand it's likely a safety thing, you might not want "other more aggressive driving adults" on the same track as young / shorter teens, plus if at that height they apparently have a slightly more difficult time reaching the pedals in the adult car, however could she not have driven a non adult car in the same session? We were the only two there to drive in that session, and there were no more than 4 people on the track at any one time in the three hours we were on-site. I know of another local indoor carting place that allows it, it'd be a shame if Game Over couldn't relook at this policy and work out another solution as I'm sure we'd not be the only ones missing this experience. That was disappointing, everything else was great.

Was a great day but have been waiting for you to send photos of us racing.it was my understanding that when we signed in and added our email address we would receive photos.

The venue is great and local to me, staff are friendly, genuinely fun place to visit.

I do find the speed limiters on the new karts frustrating.

It would be great if there was an option if the karts could be dialed up for the more experienced drivers out there.

Not a bad place to kill a couple of hours although it will cost you equivalent to the theme parks close by to play a few games and 12 laps of karts

Climbing had great walls and kids had fun but climbing is over priced at $24 for 30mins. At Iplay it's $20 for 45mins and area 51 it's $30 for 2hours. We won't be back for climbing.

There's not enough stars to give to this place.

Unfortunately not the best experience!
Under 12s can't ride in Adult carts, even though he is 1 month from turning 13. Under 12s that weigh more than 75kg can't ride in the junior carts. So that means no riding at all, until they are 13. Our ASD son was so upset. Never again.

When we arrive there (15 min prior our booking) Our group was 7 kids.
Our package was for $72. Laser, climbing and kart.
The staff start to give instructions and directions, they even give a card with times and places… the problems start when the reception girl didn’t check times and she write 30 min before our booking, she make us run to climbing, then supposed to go laser and last karts.
So half of the Group was climbing and half was laser, the idea was all together…
When we realised of the receptionist mistake we event to talk with the manager… she didn’t want to help us, resulting that the laser Group have only 5 min laser and the other group 10 min climbing… everything was so confusing the manager was so rude with us, no customer Service…
We asked to change laser for golf but instead to help us she just make a lot worse, said we need to pay extra!
At that point we tried to explain her how bad was the customer service there and the money wasn’t a problem it’s was the horrible experience. We just want to have a good time.
The Kart was good at least the kids have fun there.

We did some laps and the hanger, which were great.
Really disappointed with the so called games arcade most of the games didn't work well. The arcade is not worth spending your money on.

Awesome fun for the kids, (And adults) with a bunch of other activities to enjoy while waiting to get on track. Definitely coming back to this one!

Very dissatisfied, paid for 6 x $79 tickets. For 5 hours of fun use everything. Had to wait at laser tag because the attendant was doing something else then had to go searching for a golf ball to play mini golf, the zipline wasnt operating. The line ups for go kart were beyond long, so went to do other activities thinking 45mins was plenty of time to line up only to be told at 8: 10 to go sit down and get out of the line cause no more go kart races. What happened to 9pm guys. Oh and the guys with the remote slow you down as your on your go kart ride so it's not go as fast as you can, it is go as fast OR SLOW as they want you to go. They actually create accidents by slowing people down. Would never go again
