Galleons Restaurant

Came for dinner on the 15th September and have to say I was far from impressed. Had a table booking for 19 and they were going to have us seated at 3 seperate tables! (How stupid) and if I had have known that I would never have booked! Thankfully some guest's couldn't make it and we ended asking the staff to join the remainder of the tables so we could all sit together. Meals took forever to arrive and people that ordered mains waited for over an hour and a half! Absolutely ridiculous, not to mention we had to keep chasing staff down for cutlery and our deserts. We were also charged for two extra pizzas we never ordered but didn't realise until the next day when talking to one of the guests. Don't think I'll be coming back it was just an absolute s*"t show.

Had our wedding here back in April after sampling the menu a couple of times since the renovations. Amazing atmosphere, unreal food and excellent service. Highly recommended

Second visit to this establishment and it was better than the first! They have a new menu which provides good options! The Peruvian Chicken is a must of you like a little spice! Steaks were cooked to perfection and by far the best steak we've had in Mackay. I highly recommend the apple crumble for dessert! The service was spot on, the staff were very attentive and made you feel welcomed. The atmosphere feels fresh, inviting and serene. We will definitely be making many more visits. We want to make a shout out to Kelly who took great care of us! Looking forward to coming back again!

The steak is amazing (I've lived in Casino NSW the "beef capital") this was better!

This place is so magical. Yeah it's a 5 star Al a cart menu, but it's worth every cent. Im a regular customer to go here, and I do so just for the lovely feel it has to the place. The dining experience is just fantastic. One of my very favourite hidden little gems in mackay.a must see place

Bec and all other wait staff and kitchen where amazing and went above and beyond.all restaurants should have the same service and kindness they give.just AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE! And the atmosphere was just as fine

Galleons used to be very good, but we were recently confronted with 4 terrible dishes. Cold vegetables, soggy bruschetta, confused flavours and general poor quality. All at our party agreed that this place needs a new chef ASAP.

Amazing for special occasions or date nights with your partner. Very professional and courteous staff. Absolutely outstanding food, everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and delicious. Very reasonably priced as well. Was a little noisy with a full restaurant, but we will definitely be back.

Had an awesome meal here for our 1 year wedding anniversary. Steak was cooked perfect and the service was unreal.

Overpriced for what it tastes like. Plus, parked in their carpark and someone dinged the car and they dont have cameras. Staff werent even friendly.

Breakfast was amazing, as was dinner (different dates, several weeks apart. Friendly staff and reasonably priced.

Galleons was a lovely spot to dine. It had a calm serenity with our table overlooking the pool. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere with great company. The waiter was very polite & hospitable. The menu had a sufficient variety of foods to choose from. My meal presentation was of a high quality & was very tasty. I would happily dine here again.

I feel like Galleons Restaurant needs more attention than what I seen tonight (30/08/2020). The gentleman that served my boyfriend and I was respectful and lovely and the food was far more then what we expected. The even was beautiful and quiet with the atmosphere being overall amazing. Recommend this place 1000%

Such a beautiful setting with the restaurant surrounding the in ground pool with it's glorious blue water and rock water feature.
The food and the service where impeccable, the succulent lamb rump and the Wagu beef were a delight to taste buds.
Highly recommend Galleons Resturant for any occasion.

Amazing meals, the chef takes alot of pride in presentation too! If you're looking for somewhere to take someone to make an impression, this is the restaraunt for you!
