Been to a few gyms now and this is by far the best team of experienced trainers I've come across hence why I brang my son to sign up 5 Star quality all around and plus great staff

Jeska, Garrett and Jessie are some of the nicest people you'll meet, and super encouraging, so it makes signing up easy.
The Muay Thai coaches Ethan and Woot make you feel comfortable and motivated, especially if you've never done martial arts before. The other students are patient and friendly and helpful.
And the added mobility class has been an awesome bonus.
It's been nothing but a positive experience since starting. Stoked to have joined.

Excellent family gym. My daughter age 5 my son 7 have been regularly attending the jujitsu classes at fusion for the last 2 years. Fanatic roll models and really supportive environment. Would recommend for any parent with high energy kids.

I've trained Muay Thai for 11 years and have had 23 pro fights and trained at some really great gyms, so I know what to expect.
I started training at Fusion to learn BJJ as they have an amazing BJJ program.
I found the staff and other members to be friendly and encouraging. Even though I have had heaps of Muay Thai experience was definitely outside my comfort zone when it came to doing BJJ! I'm really enjoying learning this new skill and would definitely recommend Fusion as they have lots of girls and women on the mats, many high-level practitioners and very experienced coaches who can help you on your journey!
It’s a great skill to learn to know your strength as a woman and to the fusion team will definitely be supportive along the way.

I head up to Cairns from Sydney every year for a vacation and make the effort to get as many Jiu Jitsu sessions in at Fusion as possible. From my first visit everyone made me feel so welcome, the energy is excellent and the standards of the students and instructors are outstanding. The gym is spotless and there’s so many classes to choose from. Thank you again, I’ll see you all next year.

I dropped in while holidaying in Cairns. Good communication via Facebook messenger. I thought I was turning up for a gi class, but it wasn’t. They lent me a rashi (I just had a sports tank top). The class was very hard as I’m new to no gi and Berimbolo technique.
I worked with 2 teen women, the only women in the class. They were really nice. We rolled together as well at end of class. Only one teen boy asked me for a roll. Pretty much ignored by everyone else.

I restarted my BJJ journey at Fusion after a 5 year break and 2 kids. As a once somewhat experienced grappler who is relearning the basics of BJJ and regaining my basic fitness, I can say that Fusion, the owners/instructors Jeska and Garrett, the many skilled black belt coaches, and helpful and friendly fellow students provide a supportive and welcoming atmosphere which helps all manner of students to thrive.

The high level instruction in classes is clearly planned, well thought out, and designed to be suitable for all levels. Curriculum is also recorded so it can be reviewed later which is great for me as I don't always master new concepts quickly. I'm not an overly sporty person by nature and have limited time and energy to devote to BJJ as a mum of 2. Despite that, I know that I will still see huge improvements. This is down to the great teaching, supportive collegial atmosphere, and many talented and dedicated people who frequent the mats at Fusion.

My 2 boys (3 and 4) have also recently started BJJ at Fusion and I can't thank the coaches enough for their patience and dedication when it comes to the kids classes. It's wonderful for my boys to have more consistent adult role models in their lives through training at a place like Fusion. They are very excited to be learning BJJ and I am excited for them as it is such an enriching experience, on and off the mats.

I’ve trained all over Australia and overseas and Fusion is without a doubt one of the best places I have trained. The quality of the instructions from the coaches is fantastic, both highly technical and practical. The gym is such a welcoming place, and this can be felt as both someone doing drop ins or as a regular. If you are in Cairns and looking for top quality training, look no further than Fusion.

I’ve recently started the women’s only classes on Saturday mornings and I love it! Our coach Mia is very encouraging and breaks down the techniques in a way that’s easy to grasp and apply and I feel more confident with it each week. It is an amazing whole body workout and I’ve noticed increased energy. Definitely worth a try if you have been thinking about it!

Can't be grateful enough with the owners who also opened space for me to teach Breathwork and Ice Bath. The community is amazing as well. Thank you so much!

A fantastic inclusive family business.
When my son 12, joined over a year ago through strong advise from a close family friend that Fusion was the best martial arts school in Cairns, he was hooked after his first lesson. His words to me in the car home were “ Dad…. Can I do that every day? ” he’s gone onto loving his BJJ and MMA classes so much he’s doing up to 6 classes a week. Along with also entering competitions locally and down south as a Fusion team member, he has made great friendships and improved so much. It’s even inspired his mum to start. Fusion Fight and Fitness is the premium martial art school in Cairns.
