I recently purchased a new lounge and some rugs which looked amazing. The service from Jelda was exceptional. I had know idea what would look great in my house, she took one look at some photos and helped me pick out the best combination. I love it when people take the time to talk things through with you. Look forward to receiving my new dining room table and chairs.

I am a Redlands local and have shopped at Freedom Capalaba for many many years now. After purchasing an ottoman online (FYE sale on the 30th June) and only just having received it yesterday I realised after opening it that I ordered the incorrect blue to the same style couch that I had previously purchased from Capalaba. After calling asking if I could return the ottoman to this branch and replace with the correct colour one I was told that I would incur a 20% restocking fee and then need to purchase a new one (no replacement option available due to warranty change of mind policies) at the current price.overcall costing me an extra $268.60! Capalaba could do nothing more to assist me! I called Aspley, they directed me onto the Logan branch (they checked their syatem and could see that my order had been dispatched from the Logan branch) and the lovely Nova in Logan quickly assured me that I could return the ottoman and they would order the replacement unit but that I would probably have to wait a few months again for it to be availalbe - a straight swop was easily arranged! So my point is this.what's the use of supporting local (big) suppliers when they can't support us local buyers? Rules are rules I was told.whatever happened to the personal customer service attributed to locals? So yeah, I'll now support the smaller suppliers in the area (the family run ones, you know?) and if I ever can't find an item elsewhere and need to purchase from Freedom I'll head out of our local area and down to Logan)

Wow! What an amazing experience with Freedom at Capalaba. Staff were incredibly helpful in store and the management of the warehouse were also super efficient. Couldn’t recommend them more. We purchased 10 chairs for our dining setting and having just unpacked them, they are even more amazing than I remember! Thank you Freedom Capalaba!

Very poor after sales communication.
They do not answer their phones (have been trying to ring for 2 days)
They do not keep their promises. Was promised delivery within 1 week and that didn't happen, the manager then said she would look into the problem and call me back. It has now been over another week and I still heard nothing.

Communication is not great when following up paid-in-full orders. Called 4x times with promises of a call back, but never got one.

Karl at this store is an absolute god-send! We drove all the way from the Gold Coast for a click and collect as stock was only showing at this store. Unfortunately it didn’t fit in our car but Karl kindly went above and beyond to help us get our item home. Thank you for your excellent service Karl

I would like to give this rating of one star because of the service my mother received that was promised the service and didn't deliver the service That she was promised would be my purchase would be ready to be used and they were not Assembled to be used first of all they told her they were in the shop and then had an arrived and took a week for me to get that part of furniture and then when it arrived it was in the boxes as an 80-year-old I'm uncapable of setting up those barstools totally totally disappointed thank you but no thank

I like the store layout, staff were very helpful once someone did come over, but this took quite a while even though it wasn't busy.

The staff are incredible. They are most helpful, lovely, accommodating staff I have experienced and I have been to a fair few furniture stores. They are more than happy to compromise or ensure you are 100% happy. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff here. Always so helpful and offer their genuine opinions too. Not to mention the freedom homewares and furniture is great too, but the great staff and store manager make the experience that whole lot better - so thank you!

They have some lovely things and some great specials at times. Willingly accommodated my return of goods today (needed to do a colour check and returned those I wasn't keeping). Easy parking access.

This store is an absolute disappointment to the Freedom brand. Zero customer service whilst on the floor, long wait time at the counter, and once we were finally served we were told they couldn't reach the small furniture item we wanted as there was no one in their store room to assist. It was very frustrating as we were told we would have to return on another day to collect the item. We find it incredible that there would be no one to help on a Saturday morning. Will never return here again.

Nice store but they need more staff on busy days. Had to find a ladder myself to retrieve an item from the top shelf. Wasn't impressed either with the unwelcome atmosphere at the rear pickup site.

I will never shop at this store again, Freedom in Capalable. I have shopped here twice, the first time spent over $200. The second time I bought a few sale items and I was charged original price. I returned to the store and asked the the staff to check the prices. The gentleman who worked there asked why I didn't check the prices before I paid and did not apologise. I find he was very rude. I aked him how could I check the prices when they were in the bags and I bought more than 10 items. He should have told me or have a sign that says when you buy sale items, be prepared to pay original price unless you check at the register. I want to shop with confidence.
The lady who was serving me was not helpful.
Please do me a favour and update your sale prices and stop blaming your customer when they return for a refund. Some of the items were at the wrong place so I was shocked to find out at the register that the price was higher than what I saw. What a bad experience
