I love this place, it’s great when there are big events, but also has the quiet comfort and peace when you just want to read a book in the elder corner.

I had my 60th birthday party at the Food Connect shed in March 2023. It's a unique place for a party and provides a blank canvas for however you want to set it up. We had about 65 people and used dividers to bring the space in and make it more cosy which worked really well with the theme we chose. The shed has furniture, seating, barrels etc and you can move everything around to suit. The commercial kitchen and cold room was great for preparing and storing food on the night. Rob and Emma Kate were very helpful as the party got closer in finalising details and Jeff was happy to provide advice on setting up the space. A great place if you want something a bit different to usual venues - and supporting a social enterprise!

We used the Food Connect space for a 60th themed birthday party for around 100 people in late July 2022.
Nat was a huge help in planning and assisting us.
The location has heaps of free parking and not being in a residential area, noise was not an issue.
There is cold room storage for drinks and food and a kitchen if needed. There is also access to crockery and cutlery and glassware.
Plenty of scope for personalizing through decorations and changing the furniture layout.
Highly recommend for your party or get together.

Great place to find your chemical free and organic weekly veggies. The customer service is amazing and you can taste the nutrition in their produce. Highly recommend!

Busy worker and parent, so the home delivery option I recently learned about was music to my ears having previously used Food Connect many years ago. It's food that's alive! Tastes better than anything you could get from the giants! Support local farmers!

Awesome place for any celebration. Enjoyed the play area for the kids and seating were great. A little warm as was hot humid day but nothing too unbearable. Would recommend it.

I used the Food Connect Shed to host my book launch. The staff were knowledgeable about what works well for events, which was great as I am a novice in that area, and everything ran smoothly on the day, and looked really inviting too. The included PA set up also took away a potential hassle.
I would recommend this event space to others looking for a relaxed, friendly, eco vibe to host their event.
Also a bonus: parking in the area is easy!

Sadly I cannot support your business due to you forcing your staff to put synthetic toxic materials that you WILL BE LEGALLY LIABLE for their side affects. What a disappointment. You are a disgrace!

Great team, tasty and high quality organic /spray free local food, fair prices and excellent customer service. Food Connect's environmental, economic and social impact is extremely undervalued. Highly recommended.

To say I've falled in love with Food Connect would be an understatment. Their dedication to paying farmers right, keeping produce local, providing variety, supplying regenerative produce, is why I have bought from them for over 3 years now. Food Connect stands as a beacon of hope in the Brisbane agriculture industry, and has/will inspire a new generation of regenerative farmers, chefs, and produce suppliers.

Always exceptional customer service and produce. You can tell this is a business that really cares about their community and supporting farmers.

Started as a customer in 2006, ended up with the founder, so of course I'm giving it 5 stars. Seriously though, I've learned to cook out of a box, my food literacy improved out of sight, our nutrition went through the roof, and our appreciation for local, small family farmers in SEQ. The ethics of a social enterprise sets Food Connect apart from all the others in the market.

So glad I found this place. Great service. Fast and easy ordering. Delivered on time and well packaged. I have to buy a lot of organic food and the prices are competitive. We'll be back for sure. Thanks guys.

We have had 2 veggie boxes from Food Connect so far and have been really happy with them! The quality of the food is fantastic and we love the balance of the more "staple" items like onions and potatoes with more interesting veggies like the rainbow chard we had this week! It's such a fun way to cook to think up a dish based on the ingredients you have rather than buying specific things for a recipe. It's also really great that there's not too much packaging and of course it's fulfilling to know you are supporting local farmers - especially in times as tough as these.
The City Cousin program is also fantastic and works so well for us given we are both at work in the city all day. This is a key reason that the veggie boxes work for us! Keep up the great work:)

False vegan. Just in the business for your money. Ask her some basic facts about being vegan for any reason and she fails. Don't put your money here.
