A lovely place to be, people are great to converse with as well enjoy singing at their Karaoke venue, I give it one hundred and one per cent.

Great pub, old style friendly, no pokies, pool table friendly, cheap schooners, good people great atmosphere. Karoke on Fridays nights, darts and pool ranked competitions 3 nights a week. 3 Pool tables, a swimming pool, airconditoned bar, coldest beers on tap. Give it a go.

Sadly there was no option for 0 stars. An appalling experience is an understatement. Driving down east coast and in need of a stop over sleep, we found Fitzroy Hotel online. We booked and called personally to confirm of our booking. Sad to say, we arrived exhausted only to be told there were no rooms available. In addition to this, we we’re left stranded (gladly after seeing this place) and no offer of a refund was mentioned until I asked the owner. He asked me to sort it out with Agoda in which I was back and forth with for 3 days as this hotel shamefully would not answer and give us our refund.
Not to mention the photos on their ad was false advertisement, as they left a trademark of an image from Tasmania on the bottom right corners.
Disgusting vibe of Texas Chainsaw Massacre which incoincidentally reflects their service as well.
Highly do not recommend.

This place is an excellent location whether your staying one night or a week, the manager and facilities of this hotel are second to none. Clean rooms at an affordable price. And your made to feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. Definitely be back and telling all about this place.

Turned up late in the evening after a long drive for the owner to great us and he was clearly high on drugs. He showed us to our room of which the door didn't lock properly and there were 2 or 3 lizards on the wall as the windows had been left open all evening. There was also a chair in the middle of the room of which we were advisors not to sit on it as it's broken and they were yet to fix it. Didn't end up staying here and left as the place didn't feel secure or even safe to sleep in.

Owners are very friendly thanks for our three night stay. Very clean and tidy nothing too much trouble.thanks again Carol and Peter Ryan

A great little community pub. Not quite the best but community pubs like this always have a great atmosphere
