Fish n Chip Co.

The chips were not bad but the fish smelt like bleach and was so rank that I threw it away. The seafood salad tasted old and the prawns were like rubber.

Change the steak burger or take it off your menu. Seriously that was the worst I have had in my life! A piece of thin steak that was full of fat, smelt funny and seemed to be cooked in the microwave. Come on guys I have eaten with you a few times and have been reasonably satisfied, but not this time!
Charge more for your burgers and add to make them edible.

Not a good experience at all definitely get the feeling that they just don't care. Would recommend going elsewhere if possible.

Never again, battered sav’s burnt, cocktail fish no bigger then my thumb not worth $1.30 $15 chips was like $5.00 worth pineapple fritters (paper thin)
Fish n Co use to be the best (with previous owners) wouldn’t recommend them at all

We’ve gotten fish and chips from this store before but this last time was awful. Fish was over battered (batter was 4 times thickness of fish) and everything was super greasy which made us feel so sick for hours afterwards. Unfortunately won’t be getting takeaway from here again.

Fish like rubber. It was all curled up tried to straighten out and it curled back up again. Overcooked. Very disappointed was looking forward to a nice piece of fish.

Awful food. Hamburger patty just wrong. 3 times asked for soft egg, both burgers the eggs were hard and rubbery and cooked into the bacon. Potato scallops saturated in oil and chips tasteless and freakishly yellow.
This place used to be good with previous owners.

Honestly the worst experience of food I have had, called them up to tell them that the food was stone cold when it arrived by Uber, to be told Uber had changed drivers mid delivery and I should contact Uber, well after 25 mins I give up.
Fish and chip co have been absolutely no help and just wanted my phone call to go away, I can honestly tell you that I will never spend another dollar there again

Very oily. Everything tastes the same. Long wait and half the order missing. Sorry, but it was totally gross

My wife did a phone order for a steak burger with the lot and a piece of fish and was advised there was a 30 minute wait. I turned up 30 minutes later to be told we have no steak. When asked why they did not ring us with an alternative, I was told we did not get your number. Very poor customer service. Fish was awful as well.

TERRIBLE. 35 minute wait for $5 chips and a battered sav. Ticket after mine was served before me (by at least 5 minutes) and he'd ordered $5 chips.

Saw the boy in training use his finger to wipe coleslaw from the side of the container he was serving up into the container then wipe his hands on the back of his pants (God only knows how many times he's done that).

Order taking skills need work. Ordered $5 chips, a seafood stick and a battered sav. Didn't receive the seafood stick. Luckily I hadn't been charged for it (checked my account when I realised there was no seafood stick) and at that point my pizza was cold and my wife had already eaten due to the wait.

After reading about this place winning some award for best fish and chips my wife and I drove there with huge hopes. Ordered 2 barramundi fillets some calamari and chips. First let me say this, the fish was devine, that's it. Very disappointed with the rest, chips have been reheated and still served cold, the calamari were way overcooked and unfortunately dry as soil. Fish portions are extremely small for what you get in other fish and chips shops. Overall our experience was not good at all when you consider the price we paid was $48.00 for two battered fish, some chips, a caesar salad, 6 calamari rings and 2 drinks. I sorry guys but we definitely won't be back: (

After reading about this place winning Brissys best fish and chips we went with high hopes. Ordered early to beat the rush.and were greeted with burnt battered savs, fish that tasted old with half raw batter, smallest portion of $4 chips we've ever seen. Very disappointed. To the owners credit an apology and refund was issued. Seems at odds with all the positive reviews - a bad night?

The Barra was frozen and not defrosted properly making the flesh mushy and with out body or texture. The chips were fantastic though

Disappointed: - Chips not so good as they usually are, quite dry this time. Ordered a Potato Scallop but got a battered sav instead. Battered Pineapple very soggy with oil. Could have lost this customer

They won an award in 2018 for best fish and chip shop. This used to be true, but have lost the plot and I suspect new ownership. Scallops used to be made with real potato and thin batter, now completely reversed and good luck finding the potato. That's my last visit.

Really disappointed cause of all the good reviews. Chips were old and dry. Fish was ok but definitely not worth going back for. Only place open on a Monday night but we won’t be back.

Loved the food. Young staff serving showed no interest in taking order as though she would rather be somewhere else. However, options great and food was equally great. Just ordinary customer service.

And the Gold medal goes to this place for the wettest hamburger I have ever had.
Literally lucky I ate it home so I could wash my hands and face.

We had some fish, chips, calamari and scallops.
Fish: Dry and over cooked and I'm sure it was frozen, not freshly crumbed.
Chips: Over cooked and small
Calamari: Tough
Scallops: Over cooked and old batter

They need to change there oil and try to offer freshly made food
