Fish Factory Morningside reviews
71Everytime I go the food and service is absolutely amazing, I recommend anyone who wants good seafood pay them a visit.
The environment is clean and tidy, a paradise for seafood lovers. Almost everything is sold and bought, and the freshness is visible to the naked eye. The clerks are friendly and kind. You can also order fish and chips, they are freshly baked and fried well, and the fish is delicious. Oysters also performed well. Highly recommended!
Wow, what an amazing shop. The food is so fresh & just smells of the ocean when you walk in. I won’t go anywhere else to get my seafood anymore.
Very friendly staff with a massive range of seafood.
Plus the in house sushi is awesome.
Was deliberating between Tuna tataki and swordfish sashimi. Went for tuna in the end. Tuna was so fresh! And it really went well with the sauce.
Years ago this place had amazing seafood and the place didn't smell wow times have changed its even that bad driving past now days it's disgusting and the food has gone down hill so much unless you pick up your game you'll start losing loyal customers I'll give you another go in about 6 months or so and if you have improved I'll remove my review
Quantity not quality seems to be the order of business here. I ordered battered Cod and 4 seafood sticks. The piece of Cod was pretty big, but not that great, a little dry and yellow on the sides. The seafood sticks were big, but a little dense and bland. They are located in an area where there is a lot of industry, so I guess the working men want a lot of food and are not that fussy. I ordered at 7: 23pm (they close at 8: 00pm), and when I got there at 7: 52pm, they were closed, I had to phone and ask the girl to open the door. I don't know if that had anything to do with the quality of my food. Not as good as I got from The Junction, and they advertise their food as 'pub grub'. Won't be going back.
Just about the most incredible range of seafood you'll ever see, and prices are reasonable given the quality. Service is always very efficient despite the number of customers.
I can't speak highly enough of this place. Great variety and fresh. I've only just discovered this place and come on probably the two busiest days of the year (Christmas Eve and New year's Eve) and the service has been exceptional both times. It's 45 minutes from where I live but definitely worth it!
Staff should remove shirts advertising your business if they are going to smoke directly outside an opposition business. Not a good look.
Brilliant seafood
Real hustle and bustle
They got well organised for the Christmas rush
Bought seafood for Christmas. Good selection and reasonable prices. Only minor disappointment was getting charged $6 for Styrofoam box.
Very busy but plenty of staff so I didn't wait long considering how busy they were. Huge selection and the prawns were fantastic.
Got our Christmas seafood from there. Worth the drive as we had the best fresh seafood for the day.
It was really busy during Christmas period and took us about an hour or so of waiting in the queue but the pace has a great system that works really well. Totally worth it.
Had seen good reviews of the Fish Factory and bought seafood for my family for Christmas. I was not disappointed as the mud crabs, lobsters, prawns and oysters were great - except that I did not get the smoked salmon that I paid for. Maybe in the haste to pack my seafood, the guy Chris who served me (his name is on the receipt) left this out. It spoilt what would have been a favourable experience. I know it is not a big deal but it is like going to David Jones, buying a bunch of clothes and they leave one item out. Hmm.
Great shop for fresh seafood. Extremely great selection. Good parking. Nice staff and well managed. I moped there from city and not far to travel. I usually get pacific oysters, cooked mooloolaba prawns, cooked sandcrabs and slice of yellow fine tuna. Thanks FF.
I am reluctantly giving the Fish Factory a review, for fear they will be inundated and I won’t be able to get in the door!
This place is divine to shop in! The quality and array of seafood item is of the finest quality! The team working there are fabulous and professional. And the cleanliness is evident!
Disappointingly they are now a 30 minute drive from our new home, but we have already done 3 trips in the last 2 weeks…nothing is as good in Brisbane!
On addition to the fresh seafood, we have eaten the sushi - fabulous, some of their frozen selections, but not at the fish and chippery, but I am guessing it would be pretty good!
This business is rocking it!
Fantastic range of seafood, well worth a visit and a on-site fish/chip shop if your looking for a meal. Great staff will be coming back
Such a collection! My favourites were the Barramundi and Salmon fillets. Meal was excellent too.
Freshest seafood! Love The Fish Factory, can always rely on them for the best produce definitely our family go-to for seafood.
Greek sweets amazing, burger was horrible, watery aioli, burnt patty. Only able to eat 1/5 and the wife tried with a similar outcome. Chips were nice. Used to recommend this place in the old days but now it's good for chips and fresh fish only.
