If you want terrible service and rotten fish this is the place to go. Bad oysters. Health department notified

DO NOT GET OYSTERS FROM THIS PLACE! Both times we have bought oysters from this place they have smelt off and tasted off. 1st time we gave them benifit of the doubt.second time same thing. Its clear as a loyal local after the new owners have taken over this place has deteriorated rapidly. The lady owner looks like she doesn't care at all and this is a direct reflection on the food they provide. Oysters are stacked up with barely any ice on hot days. Spent $46 on Oysters returned them to get $20 back, because we didnt have all the oysters because we all had to spit them out or risk food poisoning. Will not be back and be reporting to the health department.

Dory was the size of a potato scallop not a full fillet, and had gooey flour on out side which had to be removed as inedible as it was under cooked. Total ripoff! The scallops also undercooked, crumb inedible. Potato scallops were frozen pre packed not fresh made and also undercooked. Gave the lot to our dogs. Waste of $28 - never again. Now I have to spend more money to buy dinner elsewhere. Give this lot a wide berth.

I got potato scallops and the crumbed sausage and the stuff was fantastic. The crew working Sunday night are amazing and friendly. You guys are great The food was amazing.

If we are ever in this area of the GC this is our go-to place for fish and chips. It has a great selection of meal deals, and the different family packs you can choose from is very good. The batter is on point for us NZ’ers/NSWelshman. Very happy with this as our choice for Pimpama/Ormeau area.

Everything was good except when i returned to get my good the owner's son stared at me and gave me a really weird look? I'm not sure his father has instructed him yet on how to treat paying customers. The prices are a bit dear/expensive but the seafood basker seems the best bet. The scallops are nowhere near NZ quality, other than that the fish and everything else is good. Im impressed that they stock kina but its dear $37 a punnet.

My partner went and got us fish and chips last night. The fish smelt so strong and with me being pregnant he called to check what fish they gave us and the lady said Cod. Because I have never had cod before I just thought that the strong fishy smell was normal. Within 30mins I was sick and been sick since. I’ve also read that it isn’t normal for the cod fish to smell if it’s been cooked properly and if it wasn’t off. So I think if you’re going to serve seafood make sure it’s not off and also make sure it’s cooked properly. We have also since found out that it’s under new ownership which makes sense as we never had an issue with this place prior.

Do better or close so you save everyone else from getting sick!

Had the Barra, it was good. Reasonably priced and quality was good. Small selection of fresh, but looked good.

Wonderful service and very tasty. Will definitely be back. Have been to the other 2 shops in Pimpama but this shop is hands down the best. Menu choices are vast.

Burger with the lot (that's usually good) was weird. Don't know what but I won't be going back. And the chips were no good. Probably got something to do with inflation.

The people were lovely so can't fault their service, but unfortunately the food was quite bad. My steak burger had excessive grizzle and was tasteless. Husband's seafood basket and chips were cooked in old oil, and looked terrible, they were overcooked The taste was very below average. We will not eat here again.

Food tastes good, but value for money is definitely not what they offer. We tried this place for lunch for the second time as our usual fish and chip shop has gone down hill.

Unfortunately both times purchasing from here the serving sizes are TINY. We ordered $5 hot chips and it was only enough for two childrens plates. Incredibly overpriced for a handful of chips.

Didn’t realise it was under new management. Was the worse meal I have ever had there. Oysters had no taste what so ever, they were disgusting and had shells throughout them. Don’t get seafood from here. So unhappy with everything. Burger, fish and chips weren’t great either. Considering how the food use to be it has gone waaaaay down hill now.

Friendly staff, fish was perfect and big portions also. Found our new fish n chip show now.

Firstly bring back the previous owners We miss your amazing lovely customer service & the best quality food!
We have been back a couple of times since previous owners left & have been disappointed each time.
Disgusting customer service, rude, doesn't even acknowledge you when you order! Food is gross, so disappointing compared to the lovely owners before, the standards have dropped so low, it's not worth the time or effort travelling there anymore.
But we thought we'd give them another chance to redeem themselves so we called in tonight to get a steak burger meal.
Well, we ordered with the Asian lady who totally ignored us, then when we asked if they do combos she said ' chicken salt'? Did you even hear what we said? She just kept looking down pretending to write something,
That was it, like he'll are we going to order from you let alone pay anything for that rude service!
We will NEVER be back! We were regular customers there, loved the food & service from the previous owners, but now that's all gone & you've lost another customer!
You have to give RESPECT to get it

Very disappointing. Fish was lovely. Got large beer battered chips and 4 potato scallops. The serving of chips was small in comparison to their usual serves. Both were very overcooked. Definitely not at the usual standard.

I have to say the prawn is not fresh at all. And seafood basket tasted like frozen product from supermarket. The price is unreasonably high for this quality. The girl in the cashier is not really friendly. All these made me feel bad to buy food here.

Since new management earlier this year 2022, the food has not been so great. I have visited about three times since new management and the food has worsen. The chips taste old and dry and the crumbed seafood is hit and miss. I will have to find a new local fish and chips place.

Absolutely disgusting. The calamari was rubbery. The fish tasted funny and when I got it home it had a strong smell to it. The chips were so salty that you couldn't eat them. Won't be going back and wouldn't recommend them
