First Choice Liquor Cannon Hill reviews
27 Only because negative isn't an option,
Don't order online as the computer doesn't know the stock levels and staff couldn't care less.
Customer Service email is no longer monitored, obviously to busy for them.
Take your $ online then can't supply the goods Refund is 3 business days, very handy over Xmas
Don't trust the open and close hours posted. The staff make their own hours and will even close early while customers are in store and chase you out. Dan Murphy's hours stood true though, two staff asked me if I needed assistance and I got a better deal.
As per previous post… had reason to visit several stores, including this one to chase some soju, this store like the other stores always have fantastic customer service. Should really try these guys other than the big D!
What is the point of ordering online to avoid carrying the 4 cartons when the delivery driver doesn’t knock enough for us to respond. Now I have to travel to the post office that is further away and more difficult to park Back to Dan Murphy
Staff are always upbeat, polite and eager to assist. Great trading hours and huge variety of wines.
I paid for Moet 2012 on the website and picked it up but when I opened the paper bag it was moet imperial NV inside. I was angry and went back to the shop a staff on the counter said sorry an old lady staff packed wrong one and changed it to Moet 2013 and said 2012 sold out. I could purchase Moet 2012 online but actually there was no stock. It was my husbands bday and new year eve so I just needed champagne so I just got Moet 2013 but wasn't happy at all. Everything was ridiculous. Especially I paid $95 for the bottle but gave me $60 one. No compensation or anything like Dan Murphy. Just so unprofessional?
Cheap compared to other liquor shops and the Cannon Hills branch has excellent customer service.
Regular first name basis customers w most of the staff. So you know we like First Choice. They carry a huge range of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. We're hooked on their Heineken 00 no alcohol beer. Looks like a beer, tastes and smells like a beer, but alcohol has been removed. Very moorish, and well priced at $40 for a 24 bottle carton.
I drunk a light Pinot Gris. They carry an Italian variety made by Portone. It's the best PG I've tried. But be quick, when it's in store word is out, and it's gone quickly. Of course being a top wine, and only costing $7 a bottle (no! That's not a typo) that has nothing to do with it's popularity.
Exceptional liquor store that has a very big range very easy to get to and wonderful staff. Very well laid out and they have some brilliant specials in store.
The staff here are incapacitated or too lazy to help. 3 staff and not one could help take beer to the car. Ironic given where they work. Where has customer service gone?
Used to be my favorite liquor store. The new set up is poorly thought out and the new staff are nowhere near as good.
Haven't been here for some time but first choice has improved a lot much better choice of independent and craft style beers
Just bought a few beers from there, and the guy who serviced me he doesn’t apply the discount which show on the label. Feel likes cheating. Need to watch out while you are at counter!
Was super slow service the ladies working where so slow there was a line that lasted over 20 minutes just to get to the counter
Do you like booz? Well your going to f#@kin love this place than!
They have a huge range of imported and local beer, wine and spirits. They have a craft section if your into that but they also have some seriously cheap european beers. Large selection of scotch. Cheap prices
Should update your closing time on your website. States it closes at 8pm Sunday but got down there and your billboard says 7pm. Not cool
Used to be alright, but currently undergoing a 'renovation' and it's gone downhill. Many many lines are now missing. Very mainstream range. They seem to be going against the current trend of unique craft beer brews and bespoke spirits and they're just stocking basic, generic stuff. Similar to Coles (their parent company) the reduction in stock variety seems to be a cost cutting measure. What a shame. I'll go down the road to Dan Murphy's which still has a superior range.
This First Choice is always well stocked with a huge selection. I can never say no to the $10 deals on the counter, great value!
It sells booze. Some either super important doctor or the guy who can stop a comet ploughing into earth needed a 6 pack so they parked across 2 spaces right out front. If they were neither of those things, some total toolbox parked across 2 spaces out the front. 1 may have been a disabled spot. Staff were nice though, even to that utter douche.
Only place we buy our liquor from. Great range of wines, spirits, beers-major brands and good selection of craft beers. Staff on the floor to assist, quick check outs, friendly staff, loads of parking. Advertise locally, regular special deals. Flybuys accepted here.
