Horrible business. Refused to supply the compliance certificates for the items they supplied for my house build. This caused me several months of grief trying to find replacement certificates and from qualified professionals who'd sign off on my build.

In my view, they acted in incredibly poor faith and were without compassion.

Do not recommend. Do yourself a favour and try Brett's instead. We found them far better.

I will never use this business again and anyone that asks me I will encourage them to go elsewhere.

Great service at the counter and in the yard, and best prices. If you need anything for a QUEENSLANDER this is the place. Much better than that other place.

Rang up to check stock of heritage arch’s. Stock available so drove 2 hours to purchase. The price advertised online was HALF the actual cost of the arches when I went to buy them. Was told the prices online are wrong and it’s in the small print. The staff were rude and dismissive when I raised the fact that’s false advertising. How about advertising your actual prices guys! I will avoid buying for our expensive renovations here.

Yes they are the only ones with period correct colonial trimming and charge top dollar.

But they have been bought out by Metcash, guys that know, and have been a backbone for the business for 10+ Years have been given the boot and the quality of staff they have hired has gone down starting to become a Bunnings.young kids with no idea. Very sad tbh I used them for 15+ years. Will avoid them as much as possible until they look after the local community and hire guys that know their stuff and have some substance again.

Some of the staff are great and a few are arrogant and know it all floggers, you try to avoid them like the plague.there timber prices are on the high end unless it's a product that they move a lot off, such as colonial timber mouldings.

They were very helpful and friendly, a pleasure to deal with especially the yard man who helped me. A credit to your business.

Always get what I need from Finlayson's and the staff are most helpful. Pricing is sensible too.

I visited them showroom of Finlayson's because I wanted to see what I preferred with a window hood. And there they were, made up and on the wall. Great job - I actually changed my mind as you which one I preferred because I could see it. Awesome!

Beautiful premises with great historic atmosphere and easy parking. The timber flooring is the display as you wander through the store.

Diverse range of colonial re-pro tin window covers and period lattice etc, but also excellent quality contemporary door/screen/concertina windows etc.

Helpful staff, but during helping one customer they're accepting calls so you have to wait until they finish the call, which can sometimes be longer than you want
