No other company I use charges a $9.90 fee for a first try missed payment. Poor service that doesn’t give customers a chance to remedy first.

Current Ezidebit business customer -
Called up last week to find out why my payments hadn't come through and it turns out they automatically charged me a $164 fee for something I hadn't even signed up for and had decided to take it from my clients payments that were supposed to come through to me. Very unprofessional. Currently waiting for a refund.

Payment taken shows no information regarding the business or service or any reference but rather display the biller's private name (God who knows it) after one failure attemp they will charge an extra failure fee. This should be regards as a legislation fault and banned.

Follow up:
Ezidebit's response appears to sidestep the primary issue at hand. I entered into a direct debit agreement with a business entity, not an individual from that business. Yet, the bank transaction shows a personal name rather than a Pty Ltd, business account, ABN, or service description.

Furthermore, Ezidebit hastily tried to bill me again without allowing sufficient time for clarification or communication with either myself or the biller. They added a surcharge to this second attempt within just three business days. If they believe this action is justified, so be it, but I stand firm in my concerns.

URGENT! BE WARNED! Signed onto a small business that’s using this service, and Ezidebit made 4 direct debits from my
Account and then a 5th where it bounced on 28th September in one go. All money from work is gone, Yep that can literally happen! They have claimed error on Ezi debit behalf as not me or the small business owner have done anything wrong, but I have to wait 4 business days for it back. You better fix this soon or AFCA and whoever deals with your company will be dealing with you. Oh and thanks for the text demanding $21.90 fee payment due to failure to pay, that’s going to happen when you take everything from my bank account all at once.

Update: product review response from Tanya at ezi debit. It’s apparently our job to talk to our banks on why ezi debit just takes money. Not their job. Good to know.

I have constant issues with clients having their payment "Failed reason code 6"
I have phsycially seen the clients have had the money in the accounts at the time of debit.

Ezi debit always blames the banks but when they call the banks say theres no block and its over mulitiple banks, not an issue with one brand.

Feels like a way for Ezi debit to make money in late fees.
This is causing alot of embarrassment for both parties and effecting my business. I am leaning towards changing companies very fast.

Sharks, was on a $10 a week membership they would try multiple times a day to take payment on old card and ended up with a bill of $10 plus $100 in late fees that is a 1000% mark up. Also very difficult to contact them to complain. Don’t let gyms, companies sign you up with these corporate bullies

I failed one payment, yet ezidebit claims i fail every month, so they can charge me the late fee. Every month i have sufficient funds yet they say it declines

Don't use it, their will try to steal your money in many ways, even if there is no problem between you and your payment, they still gonna find some excuses to charge your moeny with no sense.
And the big issue is, they don't let you cancel "You Servise" with them.
I reported to NSW fair trading, then got my money back.

Ezidebit has a wonderful support team and has helped our business each time there was an issue. Pls note that issues were never with their eftpos machine.
Slight hickup was when the call dropped and their support team never called back and i had hold the line for over 15 mins to reconnect. But in saying that it was all sorted in no time after the call went through. Overall a great experience and support from Ezidebit. Good work guys

$21.90 taken out of my account because of not having enough funds” when there was money in there. Highly doubt a fee of just under $22 is necessary and its really irritating considering I'm only 18 and thats pretty much an hourly rate for most people.thanks a-lot for making me work an hr because you guys cant properly withdraw money and do transactions.super irritating and i would give u zero stars if i could.no one use this company for anything its scams.

We've used EziDebit as our direct debit payment processor for the last 7.5 years.
The system is rock solid, the user interface is flexible and intuitiive and the pricing and settlement timeframes are reasonable.

I'd highly recommend EziDebit's direct debit function to other businesses needing a flexible and easy to use direct debit platform.

We have been with EziDebit for almost a year now and have had no issues what-so-ever. The system has always worked and the reconciliations are easy to follow and understand.
I have no hesitation in recommending EziDebit.

OMG what a horrid experience. They took the money, claimed they did not get it charged a fee even though I had proof the money had gone. I asked for it to be looked into, the overseas person on the phone REFUSED, when I asked to speak to a manager he HUNG UP on me

After 7ish years of moving away from Ezidebit I thought i would try them again. Off the mark, they never responded to my sales enquiry on their website, bad first impression but I thought I would call them.

Seems Ezidebit is still not up with the times, their online signups are old school and not very mobile optimised and ask for too much needless information. As a modern web agency this simply wont work for our customers, they need to sign up off the back of our proposals easily on any device, or we risk losing the sale.

From what I hear from other companies I know that use ezidebit their customer service is still lacking and the platform has issues.

We'll probably steer clear of these guys for the moment:) For such a huge company its strange they have not caught up tech wise, as they risk losing serious market share.

Charged me a dishonour fee 3 times even though I had money? Also withdrew money 2 times in 2 weeks while I was on a fortnightly membership.

I have been using Ezidebit for many years to process regular monthly payments and occasional one-off payments from clients.

When setting it up, help was readily available and it is working well.

I am aware that an API is available and may use it in the future to further automate my business.
