Exchange Hotel Kilcoy reviews
71Great meal, great service. Bit noisy out in the beer lounge, but other than than, a great afternoon.
Stayed two nights to attend the Woodford Folk Festival. Hadn’t stayed at a pub since I was a kid so I had low expectations. Was impressed with the decor, cleanliness and price. Great nights sleep, huge TV, air con and tea/coffee facilities. Very little pub or road noise. Great location for the festival. Appreciated the late check out following NYE. Will stay again.
Had a great steak meal here. Great value for money and a large serve. Will definitely be back.
Friendly country pub. Large beer garden with a decent vibe for a game of pool, filling lunch, and quick punt on the horses.
Great place for lunch, service was fast and friendly. Great place.nice atmosphere. A favourite with the locals or travellers alike.
As always, Friday Night Steak & Snity Night was awesome! Great staff, excellent service, live entertainment, country value service and great steaks! I'd recommend it for singles, young families and grumpy oldies!
Bloody good steak! Had a Friday night rump special on the way through town and the steak was just as good as the $60 version in posh Brisbane steakhouse. The sauce and coleslaw was very average but price was amazing. Wishing I lived closer.
Worst meal ever
Meals came out cold and the salad looked like it was sitting around all day
Chef must of been having a off night
Staff were friendly and helpful
I love this place for the steaks. Cook the perfect to my liking everytime. I like my steak blue and I find most cooks fail at this
I don’t normally like pub food but I ordered the salmon and it did not disappoint. The others in my family had steak, parmy, and beer battered Flathead, all which were substantial enough to feed teenage boys! Friendly staff, always smiling - 100% recommend
They do some tasty burgers, staff are friendly, the pub is in great condition.
It looks like a favourite destination on the weekends.
3 weeks in a row i pulled in on my way home and ordered either a crumbed steak or chicken schnitzel take away and had a beer or 7 at the bar while waiting with no hassles, week 4 im told both of those option are not availble for take away. Make your mind up! Or not, i dont care, i wont be back.
Fabulous food, fabulous staff, cold beer, and fastest table service ever. Kilcoy Hotel and Kilcoy Town one of the best to explore.
Went on a day trip to Kilcoy and tried Exchange Hotel. Was not disappointed! Food was great, well priced and staff were super friendly. Would recommend!
Repeat customers, great service, great atmosphere, and always great steak sandwiches. Still one of Steak Sandwich Hunters' top spots
Absolutely beautiful food, extremely lovely staff.
And no wait time o food.
Well done
We will be back.
Stopped by here for a quiet lunch after a scenic drive through the national Park seeing water holes and waterfalls. To our surprise we got 5 star service with 5 star meals and the most hospitable staff and the best Thai salad I've had in a long time. Great atmosphere and dinning areas both inside and out. We will certainly be back. Thanks exchange hotel.
The Venue is so well presented and the food was really good quality. Perfect venue for a drop over on the way out west.
Kilcoy has arguably the best beef in the country. This is a classic and historic country pub with recently refurbished beautiful and comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a selection of steak and pub classics to suit any taste or budget. Greatly enjoyed our stay and loved the steaks. Thanks again
