Evolve Skateboards reviews
65 Impressed with Evolve’s customer service! I had some issues to resolve and they did all so quickly and with zero fuss. They were super helpful, friendly and professional.
Their decks are obviously the bomb and they keep on getting better.
Me and my partner have one each now:)
Amazing customer service. Andrew was very polite, professional and patient in regards to my questions.
The Hadean is up there with one of the best boards I’ve been on since I began my journey in late 2014.definitely an enjoyable experience with all the evolve boards.
Highly recommend!
These guys a very cool to deal with. The boards without a doubt are the best. I had a small warranty issue that they resolved quickly.
I highly recommend Evolve Skateboards
I have an evolve stoked board. Its the best piece of kit I have ever owned. I was a surfer, then when the shoulders gave out, i turned to skateboarding. This is the very best of both worlds and marvelous exercise. Thank you for your bloody fantastic product. I am 69 years young.
I bought a GTR Bamboo All Terrain 2nd hand and after 1year had a problem with the controller. I had it repaired by the guys at Evolve but it was lost in the return post. As a gesture of goodwill Evolve replaced it with a new one free of charge - awesome customer service! I’m new to skateboarding (at 62 years old) and this is only my second board but I absolutely love it - so easy to ride and amazingly smooth! Couldn’t be happier with the board and the service.
Fixed my remote, called to add gear to the invoice and they were happy to do so and super easy over the phone. Much appreciated
Customer from Germany.battery defective after only 75 charging cycles. Although the guarantee hadn't expired for long, there was no goodwill! I strongly advise against buying!
Im looking for the old firmware on the r2 remote. Press in the wrong update and mess it up. Any help
Done that just waiting for a reply
Keep you posted
All fixed
Thanks team
Very disappointing to spend a substantial amount of money on the All Terrain Carbon Skateboard which my son used only a few times before we started having trouble with the board then to find out that something had gotten into the motor, caused damage and couldn’t be repaired.
Not covered in warranty.
Make sure to read through the warranty carefully before purchasing” THE ALL TERRAIN BOARD”
Bad quality remote and bad customer service! If there are no star option, I will choose no star. I got stoke skateboard two months ago and use for only twice. The remote is broken without dropping. Contacted customer service and try to repair on it under warranty. They said that will be no fee and i can claim on shipping as well. Well after I sent it back, they called and said there are scratch. I need to paid for repair it or you can buy a new remote is $150. Not worth the money. The brake on the board is weak compared to other brand (safety concern), Without their remote, that’s only a trash. Before you purchase anything from them, please do your own research! (heaps of damaged R2 remote reviews)
Regular customer since purchasing the All Terrain e-skateboard 2020. Always friendly great service
I've consistently had an awesome experience in my dealings with Evolve, and can highly recommend them. I bought a board about 3 months ago, and have gone in for help/questions 3 x times since then, plus wanted to upgrade my wheels, and they have always been super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. In particular, Michael in the service department has been a real superstar - thanks to Michael and everyone else at Evolve on the GC for making my first electric skateboard purchase a breeze - you've got me as a customer for life!
First up, I orded my Evolve Hadean Bamboo on Wednesday 23/3 /22 and was expecting not to see the board until after the weekend so you could imagine my excitement and surprise when it turned up on Friday 25/3 /22 so 5 stars there.
On to Sunday
After having a few sort rides up and down the street getting used to the feel of my first electric board I ventured out for my first ride thinking of doing only a couple of km's.
29 km later and a pair of wobbly legs you couldn't wipe the smile of my face.
This board is amazing it carves like a demon, powers up hills like a freight train and inspires confidence under foot.
I have been a longboard skater, shortboard skater and surfed all my life and now I'm questioning my sanity as to why I didn't evolve to Evolve sooner.
Do yourself a favour if your questioning an Evole board don't hesitate as they are an amazing peice of machinery.
5 stars all the way.
I've been riding my Hadean for 3 months now with 1000+km and I can't say enough good things about this board. This is my second electric board and all expectation were met and more. Last year I bought a cheap board from overseas and had nothing but problems, the other company wouldnt fix it, and now it doesn't even work. 100% recommend everyone gets an Evolve, it will change your life.
Awesome help fixing my board they only took 15 minutes which was really fast to replace the motor and control box thanks evolve skateboard for the friendly service
Asked to change my skate wheels over to the all-terrain wheel's and they charged me $20 in doing so. It used to be free but he said we are far to busy now to do it for free even though i was the only one in the shop and he wasn't doing anything beforehand.
I guess customer service is a thing of the past especially when it comes to making some extra $$$
Great place if your after a E Skateboard, fun and friendly staff.
I purchase a E scooter helmet (thousand) brand only place on the coast very happy with my purchase.
I definitely believe that these boards are great to ride and are a lot of fun. From my experience I do not think these boards are worth what you pay. I have had my board for going on four months now and it has snapped already and just on a casual ride to worth with a 60kg rider. I had purchased the extended warranty which is a rip off and a bash guard which I screwd on and fell of in two months.when my board snapped the company gave me 40% off a replacement deck which i really appreciated but I still believe it was a quality issue which needs attention
One of the motors of the Evolve electric skateboard that I bought 11 months ago stopped working. After sending the motor to Evolve they have determined that the motor was damaged due to “external influence”. On the call they’ve explained that “external influence” means: a piece of dust got into the motor and damaged some of the sensors. According to their warranty this is not their fault and I should pay for the new motor.
The first problem I have is that this motor stopped working 11 months after I bought it, after only light use (due to lockdowns - my previous Boosted board I used daily as a way to commute to the office for three years).
The second problem I have is that Evolve advertises their $2000 GTR skateboards going though extreme terrain (sand and dirt etc.). They even sell all terrain wheels that you can swap in if you want to do all this off-road stuff. However, their motors have multiple large vents that are not in any way protected from dust. They have also just introduced $3000 (!) board with motors that feature very similar large unprotected vents.
Not only am I disappointed in the fact the board broke after such limited use, but I think Evolve is using very misleading advertising if their motors are so susceptible to dust. Evolve should either stop advertising their board as something that is capable of handling “rough terrain”, change design of their board so that it can actually can handle it, or cover so called “external influence” under their warranty.
Their support said that my case is “very rare”, but Evolve is not responsible because it’s not their fault that the piece of debris got into the motor. I agree, but it’s Evolve’s fault that they designed the board that can easily be damaged by debris and it’s their fault that they advertise it as something that can not only handle pavement, but go though sand and dirt.

RE: Reply from Evolve Skateboards
debris or dust, whatever you want to call it. On your website you have pictures of your boards being used in sand and dirt.
Your windscreen analogy is not great. Skateboards don't have windscreens or anything like it. Saying that motor is like windscreen is ridiculous. If you want to continue with car analogy then it would be engine that stopped working.while you were driving on a paved road.how would it make you feel? You guys are completely missing the point.
