Eggplant & Poppy is such a gorgeous, eclectic shop! I was visiting from interstate and stumbled across it by chance, and am so glad I did. The staff are super attentive and friendly. I especially loved the Kip&Co items and the ample cat-themed books. A wee hidden gem of a store!

If you can't find the perfect gift here then I'd be surprised, there are so many great things here! I was visiting Cairns and was recommended to visit this place and I loved it and now I follow online and often buy their earrings.

Stumbled across this business after a few slurps one night. Ordered about 10 pairs. Great website, fast delivery, and arrived beautifully packaged with a hand written note and gift. Every pair exceeded my expectations. I play trivia every week and wear a different pair each time and always get lovely comments on them. Would I purchase again? Absolutely. In fact I've joined the monthly subscription box. Thank you ladies, what a brilliant business you run for us earring addicts.

I ordered the sweet dreams essential oil blend. The package came really quickly and had such a nice, personal touch to it.
It contained a personalised message and had complimentary pair of earrings for a promo.

Thanks to the ladies behind the counter for helping me sneakily purchase my partner’s Christmas gift right under her nose, from the fake issues with the payment machine (to stall while the gift was wrapped in the back) to the candy canes handed to us while the gift was slipped into the bag (misdirection like magic).

Gifts were wrapped nicely too.
Would recommend strongly for any gift shopping.

Pretty much the only place I have shopped for gifts (and myself) since they opened! I now live in Victoria, but they are still my go to thanks to their AMAZING website! The girls send my orders wrapped with such love, and attention to detail. Always with a handwritten thank you card. No matter your budget or location, you are guaranteed beautiful gifts and fantastic service.

These wicked ladies knock the gift shop department out of the park! They do all the hard work for you, finding all the “left-of-field-not-boring” wonderful things and putting them in one spot in their funky little zen shop… the gift wrapping and little note in the packages sent out add that extra genuineness. Will never not love eggplant & poppy.

Amazing customer service level, felt welcome and at home the whole time! Perfect gift shop, and gifts are wrapped nicely by the service attendant!

When my parcel arrived it was more than just opening a box with some items inside, each item was individually wrapped with care and they’d also included a few extra treats like jelly beans, a beautiful herbal tea and a face mask for me (say what!). Not only that, but the items I purchased were absolutely beautiful! Nobody does it better than Eggplant & Poppy!

Thanks for the laughs! Eggplant and Poppy was a chance find as we were exploring arcades in Cairns. We ended up spending an hour there reading all the quirky cards, pens and gifts. I bought several pairs of fun earrings, some secret Santa gifts and a few pens for my husband. He loved them so much, I called back to buy more.he wants to give them to all his friends! The girls had no problems with sending them to us, they made us up a beautiful parcel with our items all gift wrapped, it even included another thankyou gift for us! It was a real pleasure to receive it, right down to the 'you've got great taste sticker' which made me smile. Thanks to you lovely ladies, I will be sure to visit you again on my next trip to Cairns
