This business is now closed and has gone downhill! The reason why they have gone down hill is because no one wants a gaming pc anymore! Nor have 6k to 10k to buy one. I would recommend to anyone to buy a good laptop that would last you for years or build your own desk-top under $800! This would save you a lot of money! Do not go to any of these computer repair stores! They will only rip you off! And nowdays alot of people wants something on the go! It is all about mobile devices which is why they when bankrupt.and another thing, when they were interviewing me and saw I know how to code with over 15 years of experience.they wanna to know if could look for customers and wanna pay me 23 pre-hour hahaha. I just walked right out.

My pc was having issues when launching and running games so I handed it in, paid $150 for a service and clean which was already up from the usual $90. I was told that the gpu fans were clogged with dust and that a clean would fix it.

Got called back that afternoon too pick it up in the morning, I got there but was told it was most likely an ssd issue now since it crashed during a stress test overnight and to come back later in the day.

I came back and was told that it was actually a power supply issue which was $250 to replace it with a better one. All good I thought $400 all up is a bit pricey but worth it if the problem is fixed.

I plug it in later that night only to find the problem wasn't fixed and I had spent all that time, all that money for nothing. I called them back, explained what happened and they offered me a free service which is about the only thing I can give them a star for.

I took my pc back up the next day to see if they could actually get it right this time. Spoke with a different technician out the back, asked about the new power supply and why it didn't fix my problem only for him to say that it wasn't a power supply problem at all, he actually had no idea what was wrong with it.

A few days later and I get a call saying that it was actually the graphics card all along.what a waste of time and money.

I honestly don't know much about pcs but after the run around I had been given I want to warn anyone thinking of going to eds pcs, I don't want this to happen to any other unsuspecting customer.

Hit up any other pc store that actually knows how to do their job and next time you think about going to eds pcs just don't, your bank account and pc will be better for it.

I went to Eds Pc as the laptop fans sounded like they were about to explode, they took a look for me and fixed the issue and didn't charge me, they were super friendly and I would definately go there again to fix any issues I have. Thanks guys for helping me out.

The guy who owns this place should be called Sneaky Sam. I saw him try and sell a demo model to a customer when they were waiting outside at full retail price and not not a fresh one from out the back of the store. Unethical business practices. I will report to ACCC. I hope they get investigated. Funny how they get one bad review and all of the sudden 5 star reviews magically "pop-up" hmm.friends or family perhaps?

Bad service, sold me extra virus software i did not need, because Defender was already included in W10, and i did not know that, and these guys sure would have. And first computer they sold me was defected and had to be replaced. My advice is to stay away from this business.

Wish I could give 0 stars

These guys rip you off and then refuse to refund your money, only giving "store credit" so you have to spend the money you paid on their overpriced products. Go literally anywhere else.

STAY AWAY! The tech they have that works in the morning is a joke. I got a R9 390 from them less than a year ago. It has started to fail so I took it in to have it sent back to ASUS for warranty. I got told they had sold the company to someone else and they had to find the receipt for the card. Over a week I waited. To then be told they found the receipt and will now test the card. Waited another 4 days before I was told they tested it and it worked fine.

So at this point I took my 850w PSU out and ordered a new 1000W PSU to fix the issue. After I finally got my new PSU { ordered from ebay. } I put the card back in.

Only to see the R9 390 was doing the same thing all over again. This point I went into the shop and asked them to show me this card running and working like they said it was.
This point I was told they never sold the company. They changed managers. Then I got told I had no idea what I was talking about by the tech that was there and he had tested it.

I was also told they didnt have the parts on hand to test the card and to come back. I waited for about 2 hours and went back in. To be told they almost are about to test it and they will call. Waited another 2 hours and went back to them. For them to say they will send it back to ASUS { which will take about 1 month to get it back to me }

Now after 2 months. They are finally sending it back to ASUS to have the card fix or replaced.

2 MONTHS TO FIX A ISSUE! The tech they have is rude and really has no idea what he is doing. He normally deals with people that are there because they have a virus or some malware they need removed.

When a real tech { Like my self that has a diploma in server engineering } shows up and starts to talk about real fault finding programs. He will just get mad and act like he knows it all.

If you can. DO NOT GO THERE. Go somewhere else. Take the time to check around before going here.

Guy at the front desk is very condescending and rude. The guy who was fixing was lovely and was good to talk to. Overall first guy ruined my experience and offered me $90 for something that the guy who was fixing offered me $60 for so. Will not be back

I found I was helped but was also made to feel a bit technologically challenged. They are the experts aren't they. That's why I was there, for their help. Seemed like an intrusion. Won't go back
