Edge Early Learning West End - Montague Road

I had two children attend Edge Early Learning and they really enjoyed their time there. The educators were great with the children.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the teachers at Kindy. My daughter has always been eager to share her experiences at Kindy with us. She loves the teacher there and has made wonderful new friends in Kindy. Seeing how much she has enjoyed her time there brings me immense joy. In the beginning, she used to cry every day when going to school, but now she looks forward to it and is eager to share her life with her teachers.
Edge Early Learning Montague Road is an incredible place for children to play and learn; we have been very happy to have spent time here. Thank you for all the care and companionship you have provided to my girl. She has had a truly wonderful year!

Our son has been attending Montague Rd Edge Early Learning for 2 years. We have had such a brilliant experience in that time. Ashleigh, Maria and the team are so caring and warm and the Centre is always has such a calm and positive environment. They put so much effort into creating a fun and educational atmosphere and making event days so special. They care about their community and are excellent with their communication and updates about our son’s progress. We love seeing the photos everyday via Storypark and we have some of our favourite photos of our son from what they have shared. We highly recommend the centre and the educators there!

High quality Childcare centre. Their priority is the child's health and safety. My child was happy and enjoyed the daily activities. From babies to pre school my daughter was so lucky to have amazing educators and I was really happy to know she was enjoyed her time at Edge Montague Rd. The management team is great.

Working with Edge is unbelievable! I have fallen in love with my heart. Thanks to the team that works there I have learned many values ​​in life as well as about the profession of teacher. The dedication that the entire team has and the desire to be able to provide education, fun, and diversity to the children who come to this center it is spectacular

Montague Rd at west End has been amazing to my family and especially to my daughter. All the educators in the centre acknowledge my family and provide quality care and education. The staff in her Pre-kindy room have made her transition very smooth. Ann, Bobbie and Rose have cared for my daughter since she has started at the beginning of term 2. I am looking forward to see her development grow and cant wait to start the Kindergarten program next year.

Ms Hong deserves a shout out because she is ALWAYS so happy and enthusiastic, always so attentive and always genuinely showing love and care for the children. My son loves her, as well as Ms Krissa and Ms Meg, they have all helped my son settle in so smoothly well done thank you! This is such a great place for timid or nervous children, the Nursery Teachers are brilliant! Also the other area teachers are always happy to connect to the nursery babies too - i just think its such a wonderful child care environment! Thanks

I could not be happier with the care provided to my one year old at Edge Montague Rd. The team is fantastic and my baby is always happy and comfortable going there, even going full-time.

Edge Montague Road have been looking after our Son diligently for 4 years. Each and every Educator has been personable and professional throughout the journey. He has made special friendships and grown into a beautiful, sweet Child with the help and guidance of the management and staff. We have never hesitated leaving him in their capable, caring hands. Wonderful part of the West End community.

They had room with very short notice for my child, went above and beyond to make her feel belong to the group, make friends from the first morning, and even though they knew from the beginning she'd be there for only a short period of time they bent over backwards to help us and make her learn and feel happy. Excellent communication with Maria, the centre director, who is extremely responsive too. Bonus, a lot of staff has a second language, helping children understand multiculturalism and another language. Even better, they offer plenty of activities and let the children pick what interests them.

Bottom line/TLDR, in my oppinion, good place if you're luck and have mostly good kids in your child's room so things are on cruze control, but bad place if you need active effort from the centre to keep your child safe. I believe this review is fair and accurate as everything written here was discussed with the centre during "my daughter's exit conversation".

Used to love the centre until my daughter started to come home with marks in her head, due to a couple of kids hit her (and others, including adults) almost on a daily basis. I didn't receive a single report from these events even after making the centre aware of them. Only knew what happen because my daughter speaks extraordinarily well, so she always talks about her day.

The final episode, was the same kid piercing a toy through her eye. Not by accident (i.e. Falls, bumps etc), but intentionally doing so.

The centre policy for violence is complacent (in my opinion) as the violence control mechanism they use takes weeks to implement with no guarantee of success (trial and error approach) and in the meanwhile, luck will tell if a serious injury will happen or not to the kids receiving the violence everyday.

Hence, I had to remove my daughter from the centre as it was neither physically nor psychologically safe for her, despite she already had a bunch of little friends in there.

The first thing my daughter used to do every morning at the centre, was to hug her friends and say good morning to educators. She is very social and polite kid. But now she is scare to play at playgrounds when she sees boys and cries when remembers the "eye incident".

Too many rotations among educators (3 rotated in 4 months) within the same room. My own read about the rotation, is that the room was too problematic to be mentally healthy for the educators, been quite visible the frustration in their faces when dealign with the same couple of kids.

Edge Learning West End - Montague has been a wonderful day care for our little bub who started attending at the age of 9 months. The nursery staff are always so lovely and caring, giving endless cuddles and always providing a great update at the end of the day about the wellbeing and care of the children. Could not recommend the centre high enough - Ashleigh is a very warm and accommodating centre director, and the team behind her are just as fabulous. The facilities are always well presented and clean, and every day thje rooms are reset with vibrantly designed activities. It is great the nursery also have its own outdoor area.

My little one goes to this daycare and I must say, I love it! I started with them when they just opened and I can see all the love and effort they have put to make a friendly and lovely environment. The girls are great and their dedication wonderful. They have celebrated every milestone with us! A friendly and caring place with lots of culture and knowledge to share!

My 2 little girls love this place. The staff is simply wonderful, very attentive, caring and friendly. I just can speak for the toddlers & kindy room, but I’m sure is the same everywhere.
They provide a safe environment and very different engaging activities, promoting diversity and stimulating the will to learn.

My grandson attends Edge Montague Rd. We love seeing him growing happy and surrounded by wonderful educators.

Edge Early Leaning Centre is a professional and clean environment with friendly staff. The staff have been so helpful and engaging with my niece and have developed her skills. The staff also go out of the way by creating fun activities and wonderful art works. Most important they have helped my niece come out of her shall. I can not speak highly enough of the centre.

Lovely and welcoming educators and management team. Always willing to help families and giving their best to the children.

My son joined Edge Early Learning before he turned two. Now, he is in Prep but we cannot stop talking about the centre. The staffs are highly professional and caring. The centre is clean and having great indoor and outdoor areas for kids to learn and play. We miss all of the educators there including Miss Bertie, Miss Maria, Miss Jen, Miss Ann, Miss Sharleen, Miss Lauren, Miss Jacky, Miss Rose, Miss Jack and more. Especially the centre's director - Miss Ashleigh for her amazing works. Very much appreciated for all of your hard work and loving the children with your true hearts. I believe working with small kids is never an easy job, but you all definitely nailed it. Highly recommended!
