Edge Early Learning Strathpine

Our family has been at the centre since our eldest son was 6 months old and we wouldn’t go anywhere else! We have 3 children now and each of them have flourished here with the help of the wonderful staff. All of the educators have been caring and supportive of our kids needs and they communicate any updates regularly. The rooms and playgrounds are full of exciting activities to extend their learning and the meals on offer are healthy and always fill our little ones up! Our Son loves the indoor/outdoor play option and our Daughter is thriving in the kindergarten program as she prepares for school next year. Highly recommend Edge Early Learning Strathpine!

Big shoutout to all the educators at this centre. Both my daughters have been so lucky to receive the tireless care and encouragement from educators over the years at the centre. My youngest daughter (toddler room) calls a couple of you ‘Mama’ and this is because you really fill that role to nurture and support her while she adjusts and learns about her emotions and confidence in a space away from her family. The patience and kindness is something I am incredibly grateful for. I really am thankful for each and every one of you turning up and doing the hard work while we are away from our children. Pay rise for childcare workers- I support it!

I can't recommend this centre and the educators highly enough. With a newborn as a first time mum I had no idea how to choose a centre. Some said "feel a vibe", others said "read reviews", one said "a good centre manager has good staff, stability and a well run informative place for your child to be safe, educated and yourself remain informed and feel included". I got all of that from Edge and the outdoor areas and creative indoor areas were an added bonus. Please do yourself and your child a favour and drop in and book a time for a tour. My prep child still wants to go back and visit now!

We have been going to Edge at Strathpine for 4 years with our 2 kids and unfortunately as we are moving away, we have having to leave. The kids have absolutely loved it here and we are so thankful we found such a great daycare centre. The educators are always so caring and have the kids wellbeing as their highest priority. We would definitely recommend and we just hope our new daycare is as good as Edge Strathpine.

I would not give a single star if I could.
This place is a complete waste of our family’s time. The director is extremely unprofessional and just does not know how to communicate effectively.
We have shortlisted our daughter to attend this day care in early 2022 months in advance so she could attend in July or August, we completed all the forms and submitted all their requirements. We have been calling and calling this place to follow up on when our daughter can start, despite the director saying they have a spot, she just can’t seem to be bothered calling us back or emailing us back with any information. We have called a number of times for a follow up only to be told that she is either on leave or out of the office on lunch.
It is such a shame, I felt we should’ve gone put all that effort in somewhere else. We do not recommend this day care.
We also found during our visit/inspection that the playroom for 6+ months smelled so bad, like dirty soiled Nappies just sitting there all day. It’s unhygienic and it’s a basic job which you can’t even do right.
Safe to say we are not sending our little one to this day care, a director who simply does not care after four months of phone calls is a BIG RED FLAG.

Picking a daycare can be quiet daunting, Edge took the hassle out of that and made it an easy choice. They were extremely professional and helpful from day one with the tour, information pack and assisting with any queries or concerns we had.

Edge has cared for our son since February last year. The teachers are truly amazing and they have supported and encourage him to learn at his own pace, and he has reached so many developmental milestones with their support.

Special thanks to the Miss Jess, Ange and Aman for making the transition from the toddler rooms for our son such a wonderful experience by supporting him.

I would highly recommend Edge to anyone looking for a daycare they truly care and support your child’s individual needs and your child isn’t simply just a number.

The centre and staff are extremely warm and welcoming. They cater to every child’s individual needs especially ones who need a bit of extra support. This daycare has blown me away with how caring and willing they are to help each and every child through their learning journey. So happy I found this place! Would highly recommend.

We have been sending our little boy since he was 9 months old. He is now in Senior Kindy and loves going each day.

The Centre Manager Kate, knows us all by name and always greets us with a smile each day. The Educators all the way through our time at Edge have been first class and have treated our little boy as if he was their own.

He has developed great friendships with his Educators and other kids in his class, and he has thrived so much. The Educators take time to cater to each child’s needs and keep in constant contact with parents to make sure the kids are getting the most out of their time at Edge.

Each day my wife and I drive away knowing we don’t have to worry about our little guy because we know he will be well looked after and he always leaves each day with a massive smile on his face. The story park updates they provide daily also give us peace of mind and we get to see what happens during their day.

My wife and I recommend Edge to anyone looking for daycare and we look forward to sending our next child to Edge when they are old enough.

Lovely staff and great daycare overall. Have been sending my 19 month old here for almost 1 year and no issues. Great variety of food for the kids. Love that I can drop him off and feel confident and trust all of the educators with my sweet boy! Everyone is very welcoming.

My daughter has been attending jnr toddlers at Edge early learning since April prior to this she had never been under care of any sort so She had very bad separation anxiety that made the transition into care very hard but the girls at Edge were very caring and attentive to her needs they persisted through the cries and vomits and outbursts I actually didn’t think we would see the light at the end of the tunnel but sure enough with the support, care and reassurance from the girls at edge my daughter is now able to get dropped off with no cry outbursts. She loves the different activities and sensory play they do each day, she comes home teaching us new things that she learns which makes me so happy and shocked at the same time. She also loves the outdoor activities and enjoys her days at edge so much. I’m so happy with Edge early learning all together and especially the staff that put their all into caring for our kids.

Didn't want to really post my experience initially but I think it might help new parents like myself who looked at the high reviews and enrolled my 11 mo baby only to be terribly disappointed and have him taken out in a couple of months. After a few weeks of enrollment I found out that my bub was only having 1 bottle the whole day losing weight and feeds were being offered at the wrong times despite giving them a schedule and repeatedly asking why is the feed so low. My bub is a picky eater so they'd offer him meals once and if he refused the next meal would be 4 hours later which would mean he'd be hungry for nearly 6 hrs and cranky the whole time. On one of my pickup days I also found another educator (not usually assigned to him and didn't realize I was his mum just in the vicinity picking up his things) yelling at him while he was in distress! I couldn't believe it. I was being continuously asked to make bub hold his own bottle as they are really busy and short staffed so they can care for other babies and some days are worse with a lot of babies to care for. Surely there is a limit to how many kids can be assigned to a staff. I even asked them to speak with their centre manager if staffing is an issue as babies who cannot speak for themselves should not be paying the price and NO this is not normal to have infants go hungry, loose weight and be mistreated despite whatever they say to cover themselves. Everyday until I found him a new daycare my stomach would ache with that anxious feeling of how would he be treated today while dropping him off. Luckily the new daycare is nothing like this horrid experience and the educators look after him just like I would. Do not recommend this place to any new/experienced mum/dad who has just returned to work as you just don't need added exhaustion with all that goes on with parenting.

We love edge early learning. All the staff are amazing and we’ve had nothing but great experiences with all the girls. My son loves daycare so much thanks to the team at Edge. They’re so caring and really take notice to the children and are always so responsive to their needs. Nothing but great things to say.

My son has been going here since he was 3 months old and is nearly two it has been fascinating to see how he has grown and developed while at Edge.

My daughter always has a great time at daycare with her wonderful teachers Miss Haley and Miss Ari. I love the regular photo updates we get throughout the day and how engaged her teachers are with her learning journey.

From our very first visit to this centre our experience has been amazing. The educators are lovely and my sons educators Gayle and Amanda go above and beyond every day. Our son has settled in so well and we love seeing all of the fun activities his educators have curated for them to experience and enjoy each day. We are so impressed with this service and drive out of our way so our son can attend Edge early Learning Strathpine. Highly recommend!

My son has been going to edge early learning since he was quite little and is now in the senior toddler room.a huge thank you to Miss Jess, Miss Aman and Miss Ange They have all been very supportive and encouraging whilst helping with advice plus keeping me updated with how our son is going. Thank you so much guys for everything and helping our son hit his goals.

We have just moved from the junior nursery to the senior nursery and it has been seamless. Mrs Ari, Amanda, Gail and Haylee have made the transition so easy and it really shows the love and care they have for the children. Thank you for taking such great care of the kids!

All 3 of my kids have attended edge early learning and we could not speak more highly of this incredible childcare. The facilities are awesome but what makes this childcare so special is the amazing staff who go above and beyond. The staff are always seeking ways to incorporate all the families into their children’s learning and they are constantly evolving their learning programs for the benefit of the kids growth and development. Ms Sarah has taught 2 of my kids and she put in so much effort and time when trying to settle my son into childcare when he first started. Ms Jade has also taught my 2 of kids and she is an incredible educator with a wealth of knowledge. All the staff are sensational! Well done Edge for creating such an amazing team.
