First time to the venue last night for a Birthday celebration. The venue and The food were absolutely beautiful. I will definitely be back

The food is expensive considering the portion sizes, and very average in taste. The beers are good. Personal opinion - really didn’t like the decor. It was dark and dingy inside. Some people might find it cozy. It’s ok for a bar, but a bit unsettling as a restaurant. Also found out it’s dog friendly when we were there. I’d be more accepting if people brought their own dogs and looked after them, however there was a dog coming up to customers that appeared to possibly be the owners dog. Lastly, when we got home we realised we were overcharged.

A great place in the Brighton, Sandgate area. Live music, great cocktails, tasty food, crafting events, comedy nights and an enjoyable atmosphere. Staff are friendly and the cocktails are crafted particularly well.

First visit and staff were super friendly, decent choice of beer and cosy venue. Purely dropping a point for the long hike and condition of the toilet block (gotta be somewhat honest). Will definitely be back again though!

We got the cook's tour today. Every aspect explained of the concept and history of this place. Also the plans for the types of groups they are atteacting: a craft group, yoga group, and book club.
It's really thoughtfully fitted out. The woindow seats especially nice. The service is overly attentive to detail. The tapas menu ticks the boxes. We had garlic bread (with sea salt on the side = yum).
The drinks menu caters for alcohol and non alcohol beverages.
There's apparentlly live music, but we didn't wait around for this.

Definitely coming back, this is a great place to kick back relax and unwind after a long hard week or to just to catch up with friends and family

We adore eclectea, it’s everything a small business should be - friendly, unique and awesome. Kara and Blake always make us feel more than welcome and accommodate our needs. Our puppy literally drags us there she loves them so much! The food is always delicious and there is a great range of both non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks plus regular events to attend.

We love our little local! Everything is always fantastic - the food, the drinks, the live music and especially the staff! Kara and the team go up and beyond to create a brilliant atmosphere and they pour so much love into the community. We love bringing our friends down to Eclectea - we have a fab time, every time. Great selection of local beers and some excellent non-alcoholic cocktails, so something for everyone! Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, what more could you want in a local? The mushroom pâté is my favourite snack but the pizzas will fill a hungrier tummy nicely. Keep up the great work guys.

I held a birthday gathering at Eclectea on a Sunday afternoon. I am very impressed with the efficient, friendly and genuine service Kara and the team provided. My whole group (young and old) enjoyed the exceptional food and the variety of beers, wines, gins and non-alcoholic options. Eclectea is a lovely local venue that is building a community around it.

Beaut place. Live music. Good cocktails which the staff will convert to mocktails. Staff are dairy allergy aware so it makes a visit here easier for me.

A hidden little gem not far from the waterfront. Amazing staff! The food is always so fresh and tasty! Definitely will return soon.
