79 Sorry to say, because it looks like a really nice place, but the Wood Fired Chicken pizza that I was looking forward to was a big let down. Just a sloppy mess.
The photo doesn't show it. Had to scoop up what ingredients/slops there were and put it back on and fold the slice in two or three to be able to pick it up.
As I was walking at, it looked the staff were all testing the pizza, so hopefully they are changing things up for the better.
Its hard to wreck a pizza.
I will return to try a steak out.
Nice atmosphere, so still recommend you check this place out for a drink.
Today I had the displeasure of dealing with Chloe in your bar, who is exceptionally rude and arrogant. A friend and I ordered some drinks and bar snacks from Qcode ordering system on the table (I haven’t used this at Eatons Hill before). About 10 mins later I received a text to say my order was ready and to come and collect it. I assumed it may of been drinks as I didn’t think the food would be that fast. When I arrived at the bar I was told there was no drinks here and it would be my food. I thanked them and went and got my food. I returned to the bar after and asked if I needed to collect my drinks when they were ready or did they get delivered to the table? The bar member who I didn’t catch the name of said “I’ll look into it for you” and walked off to investigate. This is where I then asked Chloe “when she said she will look into it, does that mean I should wait and pick them up or they will be brought to the table…. ” - I got no further with my question as Chloe threw her hand up in dismissal and said “she told you! She’d look into it” and then walked away from me. I said I know that but I just wanted to know if I wait … once again with an eye roll, hand up she said “you were told” and then served another customer. It is at this point I said something to her about her horrible attitude and that I was only trying to ask a valid question. I asked to speak to the manager, Alex, and when I was explaining the situation to her, Chloe proceeded to stand next to Alex smirking, laughing and rolling her eyes at me. Alex didn’t really seem to care about Chloe’s terrible service, although she did hear me out and responded with “I’ll speak to her after her shift and we can always check the cameras”. Go for it, I have nothing to hide. Really really disappointed with how no one seemed to care that Chloe just spoke to someone however she liked, then thought the whole thing was hilarious.
If I could give no stars I would az 1 is the lowest so it is what it is
We had our work Christmas function there yesterday and we must of spent 10k throughout this astblishmint Werther it was drinks, food and pokies.
I felt verry uncomfortable how the staff and security were following us around and were prity much breathing down our necks we were there to have fun and be merry not to be looked at and to be treated like scum we weren't loud, abusive, nor did we use fowl language but yet still treated like scum my wife was told let's go and sort this out outside by security gard I think this. Conduct is unacceptable in all ways I think Mr Cominsky needs to take a good hard look at whom he is letting work in his astblishmint az it's his name that gets dragged through the mud
Great food, great service however you cannot buy a single malt scotch whisky without being forced to have ice in it. Management need to have more awareness of the products they sell. No one puts ice in a single malt! Avoid if you want to enjoy a scotch malt Whisky without being watered down with ice
Stopped in for a quick lunch with our 10-month old. I've never been to Eaton's Hill Hotel but definitely understand the hype. Very well laid out and neat restaurant. The adjoining kids playground is awesome for young families. Food and service were lovely, will definitely be back with friends and family.
I was at the bar and the weekend and was served by the rudest bartender. When I complained I got told they had received multiple complaints about her that night and yet she was still allowed at the bar being so nasty to literally everyone she served. Everyone I talked to throughout the night brought up the horrible bartender, so it wasn’t just a one off. Also overheard a security guard while we were having a smoke. He was so nasty and rude to multiple people throughout the night that we witnessed.
On a good note another bartender Claudia was so lovely and nice. She was quick, friendly and make really nice drinks. That’s the only part of my night that had competent and friendly staff.
Literally get better treatment in the valley, I’d recommend anyone go out there rather than this place.
Nice relatively newish hotel, it was unexpected for the area, definitely recommend staying if your travels takes you to this area.
Great venue, awesome food and very generous serving sizes, very friendly and professional staff. Plus a great inside area for the kids to play in. See you again soon!
Worst steak meal the wife and I have had, my med rare steak came out well done. For $39 large ones, I expected a perfectly cooked rump, the wife had the eye fillet and although cooked as requested (medium), the cut of meat was chewy.
New staff were friendly but should be better supported when learning, there was so much confusion when they were trying to work out what each meal was at our table of 12.
The food was ridiculously overpriced for the quality and service!
The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful and clean. We had a wheelchair accessible room and it was great. Thankyou for a lovely stay.
Great atmosphere. But unfortunately, the worst cooked steaks we’ve ever had. The staff did try to fix the issue, but the steaks that came back out were still chewy and dry. Definitely not medium. The pork special was beautiful though.
Venue was very nice. Service was excellent and staff very helpful. Food was very good and they did not skimp on portion size. Steak was done how I requested it. All up excellent night. Highly recommend this place.
Dance of the dead, long cues to the bar, poor service, no seating.
Its a shame the venue couldn't of made half the effort that patrons did with costumes.
At a function space for a Christmas party. Not enough staff on the bar considering the bar was serving two functions
The food was fantastic and even though the restaurant was booked we were able to have dinner in the bar area.
Can say nothing but amazing things on the service. The welcoming attitude and great service. But the cooks let down the place down. They need to go. We had both the chicken parmigiana which was so dry I choked. The carbonara was so salty you may as well have ate from the salt shaker.
I went to the Dance of the Dead event on Saturday night just gone. It was terrible and a waste of money. There were absolutely no seats to sit on if you were tired (or have mobility issues, like I do), the bar service was terrible, it took ages to get a drink, and the drink prices were more expensive in the ballroom, compared to the same drinks that you can get in the main bar. The activities promised were a let down, and the only good thing about it was the costumes and the music
Good atmosphere, inside and out. Food was good, not an extensive menu but enough choice. Food arrived in good time and was a good sized serving. Overall an enjoyable night out.
Food delicious. Food orders were fast getting to the table once ordered and paid. Somewhat pricy though. Service was awesome. Very well set up.
Good services, very nice inside and great place to chat and have a drink or dinner with friends or family
